I like it because it makes it easy to stream Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube. I can use my phone, computer, or tablet. It works with android and apple. It occasionally won't disconnect from a device but glitches are expected with all electronics. It does use an hdmi port so make sure you have room for it. It also need to be plugged into an outlet unless there are spare ports in your TV then it can be plugged into that.

I like the chromecast because i could stream everything on my phone to my tv. Its a simple set up and very easy to use.

It's been 2 months since I purchased it it's working great I can use my tablet as a remote to my tv love it and it is cheap.

It took a little time to set up three devices (at the same time) and at first I had trouble getting my TV to reconize the device until I plugged it into the primary HDMI slot on my TV and had to download Allcast on my phone. I was able to stream from my Android phone, and my laptop, still working on setting it up on my Ipad Air.

The Chromecast allows viewing apps that support it on a TV. Setup was easy. You plug it into an HDMI port and to power, download and app, and follow the instructions to connect it to your home wifi network. It allows you to watch YouTube videos, Google Play movies, and more on the big screen. It even allows you to cast the Android device's screen so you can show things from apps that do not support casting like Facebook photos. In short, a great device to have for the price.

Definitely love using this to stream my phone to the tv. Awesome product at a very great price. Highly recommend it.

The Chromecast is a streaming device about the size of a large USB stick that fits into a HDMI port and powered by USB or standard 120V power outlet. In order to be used, you will need a WiFi network and a compatible electronic device, such as a tablet/smartphone with the Chromecast app or a computer with the Chrome browser. Both the Chromecast and electronic device must be connected to the same WiFi network. Once this is done, the electronic device acts as a remote control to stream content from supported apps (YouTube, Netflix, HBOGo, HuluPlus, etc- see full list from Google's website). The video quality, while dependent on your WiFi connection, is very good and streaming from an app does not substantially drain the battery life of the electronic device either. Overall, if you have a solid WiFi connection, compatible device to act as a remote, and want to stream video services to your TV, the Chromecast is an excellent and very inexpensive option.

I adore chromecast it is so easy to use. Open the box, read instructions to set up on your phone and plug it in-boom watch whatever you want. I have bought two now one for my family and one for my sister. And it doesn't matter what kind of phone you operate on as long as you can download the app. I finally don't miss any of my shows because I can just watch them with Chromecast. Seriously if it's on the Internet with this device you can watch it on a big screen enough said.

This device makes streaming content from a phone to an HDMI set so simple... and it doesn't even cost a lot. Great buy.

For $35, you really can't beat it. It's super easy to set up and use. Works with Youtube, Netflix, and Pandora well. Haven't tried anything else. Sometimes it has trouble connecting, but it works most of the time. Great way to access Netflix on a secondary TV, such as a bedroom.

Chromecast is easy to set up and use right out of the box. The price was reasonable and you can find it regularly on sale.

I am able to stream Netflix from my phone to any tv in the house that is set up to receive video streaming. It was relatively easy to set up. However, a person with limited knowledge on setting up this type of hardware may encounter some trouble as instructions were not very comprehensive. I have Roku at home and prefer this when at home. Google Chromecast is good option when traveling to use in a hotel tv.

I normally do tons of reviews on almost anything I buy. Let's keep it rather short on this one...if you are looking to get streaming content from your smartphone on to your TV (video,music) then this device will do this in a great way! Netflix, music, YouTube...everything plays with no issues whatsoever and in great quality with no lag at all. Get chrome browser for your internet and you can view your laptop screen as well (I noticed some lag on this but still nice). I love that I can push music to my TV and use the soundbar...nice when you have people over. This is where Pandora is really nice as well. Yes there are other devices that do a bit more...but look at what is important to you...the $35 price tag is worth all the nice little features. Oh, using your smartphone works very well by the way and it is not going to drain your battery since it is pushing the image captyrunf to the TV...I was pleasantly surprised! Hope this helps!

I have to say this product is pretty awesome!! I bought one because i wanted something to stream my HBO NOW during seasons of Game of Thrones but at the time the app for hbo now couldnt stream to chromecast but it is now available and its great! I love it! Its also cool how you can mirror things from your PC screen with it wirelessly! Great product, easy to use and inexpensive!

This thing is phenomenal!! I love how easy it is to setup and operate. I love techy things. My lady is not as enthralled by them and has a hard time working devices. This one is simple and easy. I have a Roku XD in the other room also so I could do an actual comparison. I honestly love both of them. The resolution of Chromecast seems to be based on the TV and network, not the device casting it. That was my big question when I bought it. I love it and I tell everyone to get one.
