I use this primarily for youtube with my tablet. I have my PS4 for netflix, but I much prefer to use my tablet to stream what I'm watching to my TV vs. using yoiutube on my other devices (PS$, bluray players, xbox one, etc.). This thing is great and takes about 5min to set up. Really easy to use and does exactly what it says. I might by another just because haha even though I can take this to any part of my house or beyond.

The Chromecast is a great, simple to use piece of hardware. If you have android or iOS products it's a breeze to use. Cast things your watching direct to your tv screen, very simple. If you have android lollipop you can do even more. Have your entire phone screen show up on the tv etc. Makes it a breeze to show your photos off your phone, or watch movies and games etc. works great with my iPad air, Nexus 6 and Chromebook.

My son saw me watching Netflix on the computer. He recommended that I purchase Google Chrome. I thought that installing this item would be difficult, since I am not very computer literate. I plugged the Google Chrome into my television's usb port and on the screen were the instructions telling me what to do. In know time at all, I was watching Netflix on my television. Great product. Wish I would have bought it sooner.

Great product, just doesn't look 1080 p. My TV is a high end Sharp 70" 3d TV and the picture looks good, but not great. My wifi is extremely fast and my Netflix looks better quality through my tv, or psa or psa than this chromecast. I only bought it for hbo now. It does look better on smaller test or labtops. Worth the $35.00 all the way. A- strong B+.

Very affordable streaming device, easy to move between different tvs

Satisfied with chromecast. Sometimes it takes a min to connect but other than that its awesome

Very simple set-up and was streaming hbogo in 20 minutes. Quality of the stream was very good.

Great value. Simple set up. Significantly better picture and performance on Netflix through Chromecast than streaming WIFI directly to my SmartTV. Some lag time streaming video shows from my computer Chrome tab on my 8 year old wifi network.

Excellent item to have in the household, but more of a luxury item. Doesn't always work flawlessly, and requires a stable internet connection. There aren't too many apps that can be Chromecasted yet, but that's being worked on steadily. Definitely a good purchase for the price though.

For the price you can't beat the stream casting functionality this device can add to any low end monitor without built-in internet or WiFi capability. I plugged this into a 32-inch SHARP monitor and was watching Youtube and VUDU videos in full sreen mode in no time. Lags a little bit when it's first connecting, but otherwise works well most of the time.

Great product: compact, easy to use, versatile, and phrnomenally convenient for a $35 product.

I have multiple Chromecasts on all the tv's in my house and just purchased one for my parents. This device is easy to use especially for non computer guru's. My parents already new how to use there android device, and this seemlessly integrates into that device. I have had some minor connection issues at my house but I believe this is more of a router issue.

Who needs a smart tv with this! I love how easy it is to stream right from my phone! Gave it 4stars bc I was supposed to receive a $25 google play gift card from best buy but I didnt know I had only a week to open up the giftcard email and use it.. I was pretty bummed bc that was the only reason I ordered this from Best Buy.. :( This product is great tho

I use this along with the Chromecast app and the Google Cast web browser extension and so far everything is working great. Videos, music and web pages all show up right on my TV. I especially like the Cast Screen feature in the app. When that feature is used, everything on your phone or tablet can be visible on the TV, which can be a neat feature for some games that you want to see on the big screen. Depending on your internet speed, there can be a little lag with that feature, though. Additionally, there are games and apps made specifically for Chromecast. The only drawbacks (and thus the four-star rating) are (1) there aren't a lot of games specifically designed for Chromecast yet, but I would imagine that list will grow. And (2) it seems to have an "always on" feature, which could end up eating into your Wi-Fi usage a bit. If your TV has a USB port, I recommend using that as the power source because then it will turn off whenever the TV is off (it plugs into your television's HDMI port but still needs a power source, either a wall outlet or a USB port). I bought two of these devices and they can both be controlled from the same app or web browser as long as they're all on the same Wi-Fi network. All in all, I've not been disappointed.

Love the Chromecast! With an HDMI port on the TV it allows you to mirror (cast) whatever you have on the screen of your connected device - phone, tablet, laptop, etc. Literally anything on your device will be cast to the TV - pictures, videos, apps, facebook, email - whatever. Connects to available wifi (both devices must be connected to same wifi) and with the new dongle it can also be connected via ethernet.

Easy to set up and performs well. I use it to stream ESPN content.

I brought a TV since I needed an upgrade. I felt like I was missing a lot by not getting a smart TV but my budget didn't allow me to buy a smart TV. However the solution was cheaper and easier than I though. streaming and interaction with the TV using the chromecast is just amazing. My TV do just like a smart one or even better specially if you have a Samsung tablet/phone that can do full scream streaming.

I bought this product so I could watch movies from my iPad on the hotel screens when I am traveling. Unfortunately, the hotels that I have stayed in are set up where it doesn't work with their television sets. However, I do use this product at home to do the same thing, as I own some movies on my iphone and ipad that I'd rather watch on a bigger screen.
