My Chromecast is one of my favorite pieces of technology. I've started purchasing media via Google in order to better use it. The fact that I can stream from dozens of applications directly to the Chromecast, including using Chrome to Google Cast a browser tab, is the best. There are one or two apps that are not streamable, but that's only because those apps haven't gotten around to it yet. Hopefully they do soon.

I love my Google Chromecast. I purchased it Cyber Monday on sale and it came with two free months of Hulu Plus. I can watch movies, shows, or videos from my computer or cell phone at any time because most websites are capable of streaming through the Chromecast. I have it plugged into my TV's USB port so that it powers up and down with my television and it takes no time to boot up. I'm really happy with my purchase.

If you're an Android user, and you don't already have a game console or a "smart tv" then you're in luck because this device will allow you to connect and stream everything from Netflix to YouTube and more all from the power of your smartphone. However this is also a great travel companion when you're jumping from hotels or even visiting friends, you can plug up and go!!! And you can't beat the price either.

I love the Chromecast. It works flawlessly. You use your PC or cell phone as a remote, to tell the Chromecast app what to play. The Chromecast loads the media independently, without using resources on your device. It will only work with certain apps (Netflix, YouTube, etc) and Chrome tabs. It will not play files from your computer.

I wanted to cast my tablet screen to my TV. Since my tablet does not have this capability built-in I was looking for a reliable solution that was not overly expensive. The Chromecast worked exactly as I had hoped. Although it was cheaper online, Best Buy matched the price. So, I got a great deal AND I didn't have to wait for it!

This is a great product. Considering the technologies involved I was expecting a more difficult setup, but the Chromecast software makes it easy. The casting itself is very good, with only very rare times when it needs to pause for a few seconds to buffer. (Over the past two months I've used the Chromecast roughly 15 hours per week, and it only paused during a show twice to buffer, and each time was less than 5 seconds.)

Easy to set up and easier to use. Makes music and video from youtube available at any time.

Pretty much plug and play device great for the price would be nice if it had a web browser

Enjoyed using the device for showing the family photos and movies from our phone and laptop. Also useful for babysitting the granddaughter who likes to watch Youtube for kids. Seems to be geared to mobile devices, had to download additional apps to effectively use the laptop.

This has been a great little purchase and was so easy to set up on a mobile device and to my TV. I've casted a few things from a web browser on my computer as well as from Chromecast supported apps on Apple devices and it's been very easy. It's been great for watching some HBO shows on the HBO GO app immediately after it first aired without waiting for it to show up on my cable provider's on demand menu.

This device works really well. I was hesitant to get it when it first came out due to hearing about bugs, but it works flawlessly now. I have experienced no bugs. It runs very smoothly as well. The only lag I ever experience is due to the app that is casting, not due to the casting itself. tabcasting also works very well. Streaming videos in Chrome show on the TV just as clear as they do on the laptop.

Since I have a dumb TV, I needed something like Chromecast to watch Netflix and other internet TV. The bonus is that I can cast my computer/phone/tablet to the TV as well. As long as I am on Chrome, and have the Chrome Chromecast extension, I can cast anything I'm looking at, not just the internet TV. Same goes for the phone/tablet, just a little easier. Chromecast casts in HD, so the picture looks great!

It makes streaming very easy from your phone/tablet/computer for a relatively cheap price

Worth the money. It's easy to install and plugs right into the tv.

I bought this as a "spare" since I can't seem to get the other one back from my kids. I use it all the time to stream movies. It really works well with Netflix and other high quality sites - not so well for other sites, but that's to be expected. I've had absolutely no problems with it, it's inexpensive and does what it's meant to do. If you want to cast videos or movies to your TV, just buy it. It's worth it.

Sets up easy. You do have to download the app on every device, which i don't think is a big deal. It takes up a valued HDMI port, but my bedroom TV without a bluray player or a gaming console but I didn't mind. you load netflix, youtube, etc... on your device (laptop, smartphone, tablet) then your click the chromecast button that inserts to every supported app and it loads on your tv. great product. highly reccomend.

Chromecast is an easy cheap way to make a TV into a "smart" Tv allowing you access to apps like Netflix and Hulu. It was easy to install and use. I used my Galaxy Note 3 and was able to operate within minutes. The only downfall to the Chromecast is that from time to time the picture will go black while it syncs. This is only for a sec, but annoying.

user friendly, easy to set up, and affordable. This is worth the money compared to others.
