This was super easy to set up, even easier than the instructions suggested. I plugged it into the outlet and the TV. The TV automatically changed sources to HDMI and gave me the next prompts. I tried to use Netflix on my ipad and couldn't find the cast icon. I used it with my phone and it worked immediately.

The Chromecast is easy to setup and it streams shows without an issue. The apps I want are limited but the list is growing. Streaming from Chrome Browser is not available on tablets only PC/Laptops.

I've bought this for myself almost a year ago. It's simple, it works well and we use it everyday on our TV for Netflix or Pandora. The selection of supported apps grows all the time. Sometimes, I wished there was more of an TV interface like Apple TV or Roku but then I realize how simple and easy to use Chromecast is... and that's what makes it great. Also... for the price (especially when it's almost always on sale during various holiday season), you can't beat the value you get out of this. So for any android user... this is a no-brainer accessory. One of my uncles just switched from iPhone to Android over Christmas... and guess what, Chromecast was the first gift I gave him!!!! :)

I purchase this item for Christmas for my kids.this chrome cast let you enjoy several things from your phone to the big screen. one day i had used one of the kids chrome cast to view something of my phone to my tv, went to the bathroom, came back, it said look for me. My daughter took it back. I knew it was time to get my own, which i did earlier this month.

I bought this for my nieces family for Christmas. They installed it and said the kids were playing some games. I wanted them to hook up Netflix. Until I went to visit 5 months later I showed them how they could control their tv with all the phones with the app installed. So now they have access to Netflix. It is an easy solution to bring things to your tv.

Love the quality and easy set up after we purchase the right connection to our computer. Really enjoyed the many features and choices we have to choose from to view from our computer to our tv. Like watching programs on our big screen than on a computer screen. We are enjoying the many things this device can do.

Very affordable and small it is a great dongle for those looking for something small and don't want a complex system. using a phone or a table or a computer you can cast tons of things to the big screen. Being able to have multiple users add videos to you tube like a list is awesome! Music and Movies play seamlessly! What is not to love about the chrome cast!

This might be the best gadget since the vcr came out, stream almost everything from your phone,computer & tablet to your tv, it's fun & easy to use.

Love my Chromecast. I use it with Plex, which has a 1-time fee, but I can stream all of my movies from my external HardDrive through a remote desktop right to my TV with no issues. On top of that, I can use my phone as a remote for it! Second, it streams fantastically with Netflix and Youtube, which is great for putting on my daughter's favorite shows!

This product works at its best in the US due to the variety of streaming services available here. A good alternate for the Sony smart TV owners who don't have access to HBO Go. However streaming works good only if you have a good WiFi router (600Mbps+). Cast screen option is not provided on iOS devices. For users with fixed data limits, note that the "background" (screensaver for Chromecast) continuously downloads images even when the device is not active on the TV. You may run into your data limit much sooner than you anticipate. I recommend this product for people who are technically comfortable with trouble shooting computers and want a value for money product.

Much cheaper in price then my apple device. Very easy setup and use

My primary motivation for buying the Chromecast was to ease "cutting the cord." After putting it to use, I'm wishing I'd gotten this thing ages ago! Now you can have your favorite YouTube videos or any of the many sources of media available with no hassle at all. This thing is a breeze to install, configure, and use... For the money, it's a no-brainer!

I use mine on business travel or vacation to access my media collection from my home media server (Plex). Requires the use of a mobile device or. Can't neuter with a browser plug in to start the stream. Originally when I bought this, thought it would more like a fire tv stick or a role, but it doesn't,

I bought one for son in law, daddy in law, and my son for Christmas. For all the times we look at the satellite directory and say. "You know what;s on?" and they always say "Nuthin!" because it's a constant stream of the same ol' stuff! We've been using it to explore Netflix and other movies, documentaries, and TV series we missed out on through the years.

Super amazed and impressed on this product. Google did out do themselves on this one. Have this in the master bedroom and its perfect for streaming movies from my computer via Plex. Streaming Netflix without any buffering issues depending on your wireless network of course. Overall extremely satisfies with this product and recommend it to family and friends.

this is just 35$, but worth of hundreds of dollar and saves half of your TV cost. I had no worries about my T.V is not a Smart T.V just plug in the chromecast and use your phone or tablet or PC connected to wifi(connect chromecast also to same wifi) that's it. you can stream videos from any device. make it in queue. i think more than this nothing else smart.

Very simple to use and streams perfectly from my Samsung galaxy s4.

I set one of these up for my parents, who didn't have a smart tv and it was very beneficial to them. For us, though, with two relatively new smart tv's, it is somewhat useful. For the $25 I paid, though, it is hard to beat this deal. It came with several offers that essentially make the chromecast free.
