I really enjoy my ChromeCast. Setup was fast. Only about 5 minutes. And you can cast videos very easy to your HDTV at 1080p and still use your Android device. Other than the very limited apps available now its still nice. Can cast from Chrome browser tabs' Netflix, Hulu with ease. More music and video casting apps are released regularly . After I got mine hulu was released 2 weeks. Much more portable than other streaming IP boxes, just slightly bigger than a matchbox. Get it now. As more apps get released I can see the price go up. Just be patient.... Best part you can cast from tablets, phones, and PC and still use the devices at same time..... keep up good work Google.

We are loving the Google Chromecast! We've only purchased one so far, but with the ease of setup and compatible apps available we will soon purchase more to outfit every room as we venture into the brave new world of being cable/dish free! It's compatible with all the essentials such as Netflix, Hulu, HBO Go & Pandora as well as many more!

I was looking for a cheap way to access online content and surf the web on my TV. Set-up was easy and I am pleased with how I can view my Ipad on my TV and visit a bunch of websites...very cool. You need to get a broadcast app to see sites, but with this app you can visit any website you want and see it on your TV. Definitely worth it!

Very good product easy to set up and use very clear pictures

This is a great device to make your regular HD tv into a semi-smart tv. So if you want to watch or stream programs (YouTube, HBOGO, MAXGO, ShowtimeAnytime, Netflix...etc) or view pictures this is the device for you, expert or beginner. Can't beat the price compared to other media devices.

The chromecast is easy to set up, and for $30 you can turn your tv into a smart tv! The images from my iPad and phone are super clear. From my Laptop it lags a little(might be the laptop though). The only thing would make this awesome is a remote, but nonetheless it was a great purchase.

Purchased this to play live baseball on the large screen in the man cave. Plugged it into the Yamaha amp and it works great. Strange that the picture is noticeably better when using an ITouch to push MLB versus a Windows PC. Probably because the MLB Windows app does not work with this device, you have to transmit from the Chrome browser.

Easy to set up, but comcast modem provided a little complication. Product works well and easy to use. Provides an easy way to view on large screen. Somewhat disappointed that there are not more apps that support it. However, it is well worth the price. In fact, I purchased one for my son.

It takes YouTube and other video sites to the next level. HBO Go is what I use it for most, instead of trying to search on the tv. Friends can share videos for everyone to watch. Don't know why I waited so long to get one.

Set up is a snap! Plug it in, connect to wi-fi, and you are all set. Tablet and phone work as the remote. I have not had any problems with the unit at this time. They need more apps that will connect, but that will come with time.

Loved the one I kept in my bedroom to watch my shows on, so got another for the guest bedroom for when guests stay over. I keep an old cracked iPad in there, just show them how to open the app, hit the stream button, and they're off to the races. This is great since it provides a good amount of stuff for them to watch when they visit.

This device is small yet so powerful and so easy to use.

This is a great device so long as you don't try to connect in a hotel. I have had consistent connection issues at one hotel in particular. I have tried the same device at other public places with no problems/ However, with that said, when it works, it is the coolest compact device ever.

I basically buy everything Google makes. Their phones, their computers, and now, their Media streaming device. I was so excited when I heard about this little piece of tech loveliness, because of the price, the size, and the fact that it was from Google. I am in love with my Chromecast, it's wayyy faster than the slow computer I used to have hooked up to my TV to watch Netflix on. Only issue is, there is extremely limited content as of now. I can watch Netflix and YouTube, and see my Chrome tabs on my TV screen, but the cast a tab ability is meager. It lags and freezes. I can't wait til they update this little dongle to make it more seamless and add more services!

I was at Best Buy the day this product was released. I knew nothing of it but others did that were running to the check stand with boxes of the product. I purchased one and tried it. Liked it so well I gave one to my son-in-law for Christmas. This is the easiest product to operate and it will work with both Mac and PC. The restrictions are limited. I find it works better with my iPhone and iPad than with my MacBook Pro. That said it works with my wife's PC using Windows 8. The price is great and the product even better.

Very useful in those non-smart TVs, and because is updated often with several applications its potential increases exponentially.

Chromecast is a great device for being able to stream directly to your TV, especially from your phone. Works with no problems but it tends to cause a headache when it updates and you have to factory reset the devices.
