Bought this as a present for my mother for Christmas. She doesn't have a "smart tv" and is not very tech savvy. However, since she has an iphone, i bought this item due to its easy use. All she has to do is press one little chromecast button on her phone, through the app, and it shows up on her tv! Works great with youtube and viki apps!

Works great. Does what it says. Does not work with Vista

Easy to set up and has some good apps to stream from. My only problem is that it disconnects and freezes after long hours of use. What do you expect this product is only $30 or so and you get what you pay for. I'd recommend this product only to people going to use it for short periods.

Overall, I am impressed with the chromecast, especially considering how affordable it was. The setup was pretty easy. The amount of apps that participate is great. Only problem I have is it will freeze a lot and the quality from netflix, hulu, and HBO GO is pretty bad most of the time.

This is easily one of my better purchases. Pretty as advertised. The set up was easy, the connections from whatever smartphone/computer/tablet were very smooth. The only issue would be that you only have some many popular apps - Netflix, Pandora, YouTube, Hulu - but that will surely improve in the future. It is a very nice item to gift.

Works just as it should. Only aggravating thing is when using a android tablet, you cannot use Google Chromecast extension. So you are not able to watch videos from Google Chrome Browser. Netflix, YouTube both work well.

Its a pretty slick device. You can download the Chrome browser and stream anything from the browser on your TV screen. It works with Netflix as well! If you have a Youtube playlist, you can stream many videos in a row. You can also stream Youtube videos and queue them up one after another! It was very difficult to setup the device with a macbook or ipad or iphone. But it was fairly simple using a pc or droid device. Confusingly interesting

I can use it for Netflix, HBO, YouTube , but when I try to Chrime Cast using Yahoo Website it doesn't work. Also Casting from Facebook. I had to buy a Apple Adapture to Cast correctly. Alternative would also buy Apple TV. Only would recommend for people who don't have a Apple IPhone.

Having the ability to view YouTube, Netflix, HULUplus and screen cast from any device is amazing. No expensive gaming systems, or new Smart TV purchase, or external TV viewing boxes for this to work. I'm amazed how simple set up is as well. I have two of these for upstairs and downstairs. It's a must have, I even buy these for gifts!

Live streaming to my tv from a laptop. I have wireless display with push to TV but this device is way easier to use. Open chrome, Ctrl O to pick a file and pick your force to cast to. Only hiccup was pairing it to my new R8000 router, had to set up a guest network to get a connection.

I found setting up Google Chromecast was simple and easy to do. It works seamlessly with the app on my phone. I would like to see Amazon Instant Prime Video work with Chromecast.
