Easy to setup and very convenient to use. The only drawback I noticed is the occasional buffering when watching live streaming video. Same Live streaming worked better with direct HDMI connection instead of Chromecast

Even though I am happy with this product, if you have a smart tv it's kind of pointless. I originally got it to be able to use HBOGO on my already smart tv (the only app my smart tv doesn't have). I've definately got my moneys worth, but I would verify which apps your smart tv already has because this could be pointless. I would also like to point out that streaming from google chrom from your computer can create massive lag times. I knew this before purchasing so it didn't change my mind about the product. It's also fun to use the push and play feature with youtube, instead of crowding around someones iphone to watch a funny 3 minute clip.

Very Good, Good sounds and quality picture, easy setup

I use the Chromecast on my "dumb" tv so I could watch YouTube and other streaming products on the big screen of a TV instead of my phone or laptop. While the Chromecast doesn't have all the features of a Roku or apple tv the bang for the buck is unmatched by either of those. The streaming quality is great on my 1080p TV.

Chromecast works as advertised. It is a very inexpensive and easy way to stream content from my phone, tablet, and laptop to the TV. My biggest complaint is the lack of applications that are currently available. Once more applications are available and it becomes easier to stream content that I already own from my phone and tablet without using other services I will change my overall rating from Good to Excellent. Right now, it simply lacks the compatibility I want other than to just watch YouTube videos on my TV. Great concept, not yet completely able to integrate into my entertainment system because of the lack of available applications.

Chromecast is a revelation in the world of digital TV. At $35 it is a terrific deal for the price and I almost can replace traditional cable television. The picture quality using chromecast even surpasses The standard definition of regular cable programming.

The Google Chromecast was easy to use, just plugged it in and followed the online steps. It was set up quickly and now I am not held back by cables anymore! I like the options, you can show just your online tab, one spreadsheet or your whole computer and it's easy for another person to cast on and take over a presentation.

Love it. This was easy to install and works flawlessly

Installation is a breeze. I actually installed it on my home theater receiver. Which is great for playing music through a streaming site such as Pandora. No D/A converter required for better sound, also even with my receiver in standby mode my family streams movies via laptop and phone to the TV without turning on the receiver.

I love love love my Chromecast!! Maybe it's because I have an Android and it works PERFECTLY with it, but I love that everything is so simple. When I want Netflix, YouTube, or even just the simple ability to bring my phones screen to my tv screen, it's all quick and easy. I love it!! I can't see myself living without it!!

If you have an android device you can broadcast any thing on you screen. Apple products are limited to certain app, but still nice. We even just used it on vacation at Disney. It opens up a whole world of options. Looks like we'll be buy more as Easter gifts, because the fight now is that everyone wants to use it on their TV.

I rather buy this product in best buy because at first I can pick it up at the same day, price match, and when something went wrong I don't have to go thought the process of returning, refund and repurchase. However, chromecast is easier to use compared to fire stick or fire tv, good sync and special no additional cost

The chromecast lives up to it's promise. It was very easy to set up and easily portable from one TV to another. Google seems to come up with new offers frequently, which is a plus. Only minor drawback is the connection through chromecast is slower than a direct connection with apps like Netflix but it's still good enough.

purchased for brothers bedroom tv that was dated but was 1080p with matching bluray player but no access to subscription streaming media. now he is happy to be up to speed with other tvs through out the house and withe ease of set up and use since he is not techie at all....

It's cheap, extremely easy to use and works flawlessly every time. Never buffers or stops while streaming. Only bad thing is that only a few apps support it. Netflix, Google Play Movies and Music and stuff like that.

By hooking up the Chromecast to the TV, I have been able to make it "smart" and watch Netflix and other steaming services (HBO, Youtube, flixster, etc...) with minimal setup. This is actually my second Chromecast since it has done such a great job throughout with no need to run any Ethernet wires that my previous setups required.

This little device does a decent job at what it was designed for, streaming things from your phone. The price is nice, but when compared to Amazons fire stick, the chromecast is seriously limited in what it offers.

This is a solidly built product that streams a variety of apps through your television, and has connectivity to the Chrome Browser (as I'm sure you know). My experience with it has thus far been strictly to use it as a YouTube streamer in my bedroom. It does a fine job of streaming high quality video, but I don't love that the apps must reside on your phone. I believed the Chromecast to utilize smartphones as a remote,but in fact you must have the apps that you want to use loaded into your phone. This isn't really a big deal,but it created a different level of utility than I wanted when I purchased it. This, coupled with the fact that it cannot be used on the go (read: in a hotel) the fact that it is small and portable is not being used to the fullest.

Price was reasonable. Easy to use. It's a great value.
