This product is amazing. I am able to cast different apps such as Youtube, Crunchyroll, Netflix. You can even use it with your android phone and laptop by surfing with Google Chrome! It is very simple to set up and use. Totally recommend it. I understand there is a new model, but this one is still very functional.

I bought this for a little cousin and she loves it. She mainly uses to stream youtube videos on her TV, and she learned to use it very quickly. I think is a good product for internet content streaming on to a tv.

I use my Chromecast to watch MLB.com, Netflix, Hulu, and ESPN Go. It works well especially from my Android smartphone and tablet. The picture is good. Sometimes there is a slight delay before the picture is completely optimized, but this resolves in less than a minute.

If you want to stream Netflix and YouTube over your internet connection to your compatible TV and for the best price, this is the Streaming Media Player for you. It is the best price I have seen for such a device. It was easy to set up and came in a quality box that mimics the great Apple product boxes. Presentation can make a difference. It comes with the option to plug in a power cord or to use the USB direct to the TV connection but it works for me without the additional power. so I use it without the power cord. I cannot play iPad games on my TV. All in all, for the price and what I wanted it for, it is an excellent device.

I finally got the Chromecast and I'm not impressed. I have to constantly connect and disconnect it because it freezes a lot. It shows great picture though. It's worth the price. No need to spring for an expensive one.

Don't know why I didn't buy this sooner! I got it at 1/3 the price others paid for theirs, & guess what? No more $150.00 t.v. bill. Now I got more t.v. than I need, no more huge boxes & wires hanging everywhere, Chrome Cast rocks! If you don't have one, your paying way to much for t.v. Now I saved over $1200.00 per year!!

I bought this because I decided I wasn't going to pay for cable TV anymore. The Chromecast works perfectly, I wish you could easily cast from your laptop or iPad any content but you can't. There might be an app that allows you to do that just haven't had time to look yet.

Great device for almost anything you can think of! Sharing photo's, watching videos, family slideshow, and more! For less than $30 this is an amazing little device - worked flawlessly with my Galaxy S6 and my wife's LG G3. Definitely don't use it everyday, but when I need to use it - it is always a simple process.

The Chromecast was easy to set up, simple to use and now I can't imagine my TV any other way. Now that we have a Chromecast and already pay for Netflix, Hulu, etc. We plan to not renew our cable contract and move everything over to the Chromecast. It's going to save us so much money, trust me it's a worthwhile investment.

The Chromecast was easy to set up and works as advertised. I purchased it at the regular advertised price but a little homework could land you one for about $5 cheaper elsewhere. Wish the device could allow for more flexibility with other apps on my phone and tablet.

I pay for Netflix. Ever time my wife wants to watch Netflix upstairs I would have to pull out my iPad and a special adaptor that cost about $50.00 that converts the signal into HDMI and find an HDMI cable to from the adaptor into the back of the T.V.. Now all my wife has to do is use the remote for the T.V. and her iPad!

I bought this to stream media to my TV in the ktichen so that I didn't have to have another converter box. It works great. I have a tablet that I "cast" whatever I want to my TV. Very happy with this purchase.

Loved my first Chromecast so much decided to buy another one. I bought to use in my bedroom because I dont use a set top cable box in there. So I stream my Netflix,crunchroll ,Pandora and other streong apps to use with my TV. Great alternative to cable or satellite.

I bought the Chromecast along with the new Nexus 7 and I think this little device is the best media streaming option out there. Video quality is great, installation and setup are quicker than any other device I've seen, and the price is unbeatable. Google has already added new services since launch and I am sure there will be plenty more added in the future. The only problems I've seen have been choppy video playback when casting a tab from Chrome and the fact that you can only cast a Chrome tab from a desktop system--no mobile devices. Both of those are pretty small issues that other devices don't even do, so I can't dock points based on those. If these issues get resolved in the future, the Chromecast could become a very innovative device.

I got this on sale on an online-only special. Connecting it was simple. I didn't like the external USB power needed, but not a big deal as my TV has a USB port available. Setup was very simple with my tablet. It just works. However, linking it to Apps is not seamless. Playing multiple videos from Youtube confuses the App and requires restarting it. ChromeCast is forgiving with the problems, though. Netflix works better than through my bluray player with no pauses. Haven't tried anything else. But simply being able to throw a Youtube video you're watching on your TV in a couple of taps to share is worth the entry price.

I wanted this to be able to show my Facebook, videos, and pictures on the TV so that my Grandma can see them instead of her trying to see them on a small phone or tablet. It works perfectly for that purpose. I have tried streaming HULU through it but I believe that is a problem with my home network, not the Chromecast.

Needed one of these for awhile, finally decided to purchase. I found that this work exactly as advertised, and didn't require a significant amount of effort on my part. When a TV repair guy came over (unrelated to this), it was easy to take off for service.

Great for the price Bought 2 of these. Works good.
