My husband and I watch movies and football online and normally we would just hook our laptop up to our TV and switch to PC to view. It was a pain in the butt to do this each time whereas now it is so easy! Not only that, but I bought this for $35 and got $20 in GooglePlay store credits. WINNING!

Works exactly as advertised. If you know the limitations of this device then it is great. It does exactly what I need it to do in my home setup. If you need an all in one streaming web video solution than try one of the set top boxes instead (Roku). For the price though Chromecast cant be beat.

This is literally one of the best things I've ever bought! It works like a charm, Netflix is awesome on it! I can move it from my tv to the living room tv without any hassle and do not have to download any software over again as long as I'm on the same wifi. It's great, if you don't have one get one!

I have been able to send, or cast, online workout videos to my TV. Makes the workout more enjoyable. A downside is that you cannot cast everything from your computer to Chromecast. you must use compatible apps, but that number is growing every day.

bought this on a recommendation... i know wondered why i didnt own this before. The ease of beaming video from Phone or Tablet to the TV by the touch of a button was a god send for me. this is good for those movie apps we all know about. must own for everyone perfect accessory for any phone

It would be better of it would stream directly from the app on the computer instead than from the website. Other than that it works great especially when using the tablet. You can keep using the tablet or computer while is streaming on the tv.

This is a great product to have if you are looking to add "SMART" to a not so SMART TVs. The price is great, fits in to any budget. The set up can be a bit cumbersome, but not enough to knock off a star for it. Besides that it is a great tool to have if you love watching videos online.

I had no idea how much fun the chrome cast would be when my daughter asked me to purchase it so she can wacth a movie. Now i find myself streaming movies,videos and music. Looks like i will be purchasing another so that i can keep it in my room. Great gift idea for anyone young and old alike.

I was a little skeptical about buying one of these, but once you get it home and setup, it does a really nice job. The picture is fantastic. I wanted to originally use it with a MS Surface 2 tablet, but it doesn't work with it. It does work very well with an iPad though. Well worth the $35!

The chrome cast streaming media player has and is still is letting me and my family watch all of our home video from our phones and tablets be watch on our television. Have had alot of wonderful family times . Thanks chromecast

I was skeptical at first about buying a chrome cast and all the rumors I had heard but I am glad I got one! It's easy to use and my kid loves the netflix stream on his TV! Great product and recommend it to non smart tv havers.

Turn my regular LCD into a smart tv. I really like that you can broadcast your pictures from your phone onto the tv. You can also broadcast the internet from your phone to your set, which makes reading small text much easier.

The price makes this device risk free to try. Have considered other streaming devices but have heisted to make the investment. At $35 it seemed worth the risk. Product works great. Movies and TV shows look great through the device. Can't with for mor apps to become available. The only thing I would caution a buyer about is the it requires a power source. I was fortunate to have a power source behind my TV. Great technology. When this device first came out it sold out immediately. I was able to locate on line at Best Buys and pick it up the next day in store. Very convenient.

This has been a great way to watch Netflix, listen to Pandora, and have beautiful photos as a background on my tv. The only downside is that You must have Hulu plus to watch Hulu on it. The device also needs to be plugged up all the time. Overall, WONDERFUL product! Much cheaper than Roku.

Love this little stick, looking to purchase more for other TVs in the house. I use it everyday with WATCH ESPN on a TV that doesn't really need a dedicated cable box, or the associated monthly cost for the additional box.

This is very cheap way to make your TV smart. It can stream things from your Android smartphone. To this day, many apps supports it: Hulu, Netflix, Youtube, Chrome Browser, etc. Setup is easily, just follow the onscreen instructions. It updates automatically, and it doesn't take long.

Chromecast is an absolute great product to have for your television. It definitely makes watching internet TV, especially Youtube, much more easier to enjoy and all from the comfort of your couch or lounge chair. It's easy to use and it's form factor conforms great with modern slim TVs.

The Chromecast let's you use your tablet or PC as a remote so you can watch on your home TV. It is very simple to use and set up. It can also go with you on a trip as well, just remember to unplug and take with you. No longer any need to watch a TV show or movie on an 8 or 10 inch screen.

The setup process was easy enough for anyone who has added a device to their wifi network before. Good news: You can cast from your android phone, tablet, or computer running the chrome browser. Bad news: I expected more cool chormecast apps than were available. I also did not find any good media apps that would let me choose which device to play to; chromecast, tablet or computer. There are a lot of chromecast only media players to choose from and not a lot of games. Sharing my android screen, tablet or phone, with chromecast also caused chromecast to crash after a few minutes. If you want an easy device to play Netflix and Youtube on, then you should buy this.

When I originally bought this chromecast a little over 30 days ago it worked perfectly on both my phone and laptop. The other day out of no where it stops working on both saying unable to locate device. There is no 800 number to call for support and their website support is a joke. Only thing I can see from their support forum is that there is some type of windows update that happened recently and its not capatible with laptops and phone apps unless u get some type of extention etc. A lot of people are having this problem and are not able to fix it the way chromecast recommends. I bought the roku 2 about the same time and would recommend purchasing that instead.
