Perfect device
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The chromecast is just what I have been wanting. Something that projects my web browser to my tv. I know there are other ways but this is the simplest way. No need for a DVD or ROKU or XBOX to be hooked up my 32" vivo is now a smart tv. For those who complain about the tab casting feature you just have to adjust your setting and it will stream smoothly.

It has made my life much easier.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We originally purchased this for "fun" and watching movies while relaxing but I have found that it will create added convenience to my life. As a student with video assignments that would tie up time from my computer that I could also be doing homework; chrome will now allow me to multitask. I am looking forward to utilizing it more for work and fun.

Great way to display media on TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love to play videos through the Chrome browser from the internet to my TV in my kitchen. It makes it so much easier for the family to all watch the video. The only thing I noticed, since it can't be hard wired to the network the wireless router has to put out a fairly strong signal. Fortunately my router is close to the kitchen and it works great.

Not for everyone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Chromecast isn't for everyone. I found it slow and it would often drop my wifi and had to be reconnected daily. It gets old only being able to use a smartphone or tablet as a remote. If you only want something basic for Netflix, it works fine. I moved on to Apple TV and am much happier.
