after finally realizing what a chromecast is I just had to get one especially with the price it's a steal. It's the modern day projector to your phone so easy and convenient to do things on your phone with the accessibility of your tv screen

I love these device. Great for making a plain tv a smart tv, and usually with more/better features. It works with so many apps and being able to wireless put your chrome browser on your tv is great.

I like this device but be forewarned that it does not support APPLE products. You can install chrome on your apple products but when you try and install the add-on it does not work or me. Also, I have not figured out a way to recover from the screen saver mode other then reboot the entire device which is a pain to do. Otherwise it is cheap and does what it is suppose to do which is display you videos on your tv. I wish there was a wired capability. Maybe that is phase two.

Awesome product from Google. It makes watching Netflix and Google Play movies, so easy to do. If you're in the Google "Ecosystem", it's a must buy in my mind. Keep an eye out for the deals too. I got mine from Best Buy with a Google Play Card.

At this price everyone should have a Chromecast. I use mine mostly for streaming Netflix from my smart phone while on the treadmill. But it's great for many other applications with more coming. I have 3 of these so far for the different TV's.

Easy to set up, plugs into HDMI and outlet, installs on Chrome with Chromecast add-on. Casts any video stream from your device (YouTube, Hulu, Dramafever, Amazon, etc.). More portable than HDMI cable.

I bought another one of these for my bedroom TV, already have 2 of them in the house. We use them pretty frequently since there is only cable on one TV. We watch Netflix and Youtube. it is super easy to control everything from my phone.

These are so easy to setup and use. I have full access to my media and external media so I do not have to watch it on a small device screen but rather on a much larger screen. Love these so much that I now have one on every TV in my home.

Very easy setup. Great for watching YouTube clips from your phone or tablet. Also good for viewing pictures from your devices. However, you cannot "cast" everything; like email or your web browser.

Have three of these dongles. Each one works flawlessly and does what it's suppose to. As an extra bonus make sure to check the "available offers" through the Chromecast App - I was able to get $6 on each from Google as a Valentines Day gift.

...it's also the best of the streaming devices. Beautiful in its simplicity of installation and use, it comes without a bunch of forced bloatware. Hundreds and hundreds of applications now support Chromecast, and the ability to cast a Chrome browser tab is outstanding in instances when what you desire to stream isn't in an app, but rather solely on the web. Kids will have a great time playing their favorite smartphone games on your television with the ability being standard to cast your devices screen to your television monitor. My kids think this is the coolest. Anyway, at $30 you simply can't make a mistake, so just buy it already.

For less than thirty bucks, you can upgrade your old TV and receive many of the popular apps (additional subscription may be required) = Hulu Plus, Netflix, HBOgo. Just make sure your old TV has an HDMI input for the Chromecast to connect,.

I was a little concerned about doing this at first as I am "older" and wanted to set this up in the bedroom we use for our grandkids so that they would have other options without us having to run "cable" to that room.....it works great!!

Very nice device to use for streaming certain types of video. Their app selection is growing quickly. This is actually my second Chromecast for my home. I would recommend this for any one who wants to stream from their tablet, phone, or pc..

This is one of my favorite tech gadgets & I travel with it so I can broadcast from my phone/tablet/laptop. I bought one for daughter while she is at college; she uses it every day & does not want/need to subscribe to a cable TV service.

Little device enables watching some premium channels and Netflix without having to subscribe to expensive cable packages. It is missing a few desirable apps, such as Acorn On Line, which Roku has.

I'm very happy with the ChromeCast. It's very simple, integrates with my phone, tablet, and laptop easily, and let's me view my watch on demand shows without dealing with cables. I look forward to more streaming services integrating with it.

The product is easy to use and install. And more and more apps are adding chromecast to their line ups. I just wish it work with more apple products. But thats the while apple droid war at its finest.

Doesn't seem to work with Safari on iPhone. Would be best if Google allowed you to send everything on your desktop or just mirror display to the tv like Apple TV does. But it's cheap so it may do the job.

Great gadget for the price. I use to stream tv from my tablet to my outside television. Works fantastic. Worth every cent. We have two in the house
