This is the second one i have gotten and now it is not working correctly so im giving it only 1 star im going too have too return this product as soon as i can

I don't know if my product is defective, but when trying to stream downloaded videos with this device I find that it tends to produce a laggy video with desynced audio. I have had no issues using this with netflix, pandora, youtube, vimeo, or any other applications. Only with trying to stream downloaded videos. Also it tends to get very hot even when not in use, so I don't leave it plugged in anymore, which makes it annoying to have to dig behind my TV to plug it in every time I want to use it

Purchased this device to cast HBO to the hdtv. WIt works very well for this purpose. Found it a little disappointing that several other apps cannot be cast. Oh well.

I bought chrome for my boyfriend for Christmas. We are always streaming shows from his mac so I thought it would be a great idea. Chrome only lets you stream from the internet so we can't automatically connect movies we have already downloaded. The picture was great quality, but the audio was about three seconds too soon. After one day I returned it. Honestly, get apple tv. more expensive but its awesome!

i like this product but wish there was mirrioring available from tablet to tv so you can mimick the screen from tablet to tv besides that great product for the money

I guess it's ok but I don't have big use for it. I am a little concerned about how hot it gets while it is plugged into my tv. I Hope you need it more than I did.

While this gadget is innovative, it's still in its infancy.,very few apps. And forget about pausing. Netflix shows reload after a restart. Overall I'd say its average.

Doesn't do anymore that what's built into my blue ray player. Has trouble connecting on some sites. Will not always stream.

I was very disappointed. This would not work with my new MacBook Air. The picture displayed, but there was wavy lines going down the middle of a picture like a Wayne's World flashback. It wouldn't work with my old Toshiba either, just real choppy video. WiFi router has to be really close for it to even work at all. I return for Apple TV and now am very happy. But I can only do Apple products now.

Decent for watching Netflix and Plex server. Like being able to use iPhone as remote. Setup was slow and wish it had more features for but for the price works well.

The setup of this device isn't as easy as described and once its working the video can be very poor depending on your internet speed and several other factors.

Great for YouTube, but you need to find and download other apps that will stream videos from the internet to Chromecast

Just didn't connect, nobody can explain why, i tried calling google and my provider and i got a lot of shrugged shoulders

Works we'll with u tube and netflix was a little slow with downloading movies , Cannot use with Apple iPad for Internet exploring which was one of our main uses ,

i would think anything from your controlling device (ipad, galaxy, etc.) could be displayed, but only netflix and hulu...

This item is cheap to buy but you get what you pay for, I returned it and got the Apple TV. The set up was not easy and then it did not work as advertised.

Works good for intended use however limited applications. Like how it is integrated with goggle chrome browser for streaming internet videos to TV. Good price.

It still need a lot of improvement like capability and more apps to work. Good to stream Youtube audio and videos.

I was happy my first week, but before my 2nd week the tablet showed had a poor battery life, I returned and will buy a Samsung when they get on sale.
