Gives lots of great options for viewing content on a non smart TV. Easy to use. Wish it would let you broadcast all pc content, not just certain apps. If it would do that, I would give it 5 stars

Have not used it much yet, but I'm impressed. Bought it to access a premium channel. Last week used it to watch a pbs show and was surprised at what I was able to watch and how easy it was.

worth every penny. just needs more viewing apps. tucks away behind the tv and video quality is great as long as you have a fast internet connection.

The Chromecast is neat for streaming music and YouTube videos, but I feel like there's not a lot it can do. I had to download third party apps in order to stream pictures and I feel like that's something most people would want to stream from their phones. I'm still testing it out, but it's nothing super fantastic, but it's not completely horrible. It's just average. The price isn't bad though and I had a coupon, so I got it even cheaper which is why I purchased this.

The Chromecast works very well and is relatively inexpensive. The big drawback is that very few apps can be used with it. YouTube and WatchESPN are probably the most used of the compatible apps.

So happy with mine, that what a family member needed to show those special pictures I knew just what to do. Salesperson showed me right to the display and when I mentioned the price, he adjusted to match the competition. Great day!

I spend a lot of time watching Netflix and YouTube videos. I also listen to Pandora radio a lot too. It's nice to be able to watch and listen to shows on any TV i want with a touch of a button. A must have for any marathon Netflixer.

This device is similar to Apple Play. What you play from your phone can be played on the tv. I could not get Netflix on my desktop to project onto this device, but maybe I overlooked something.

If you can see it on your Device or on your Computer in Chrome you can stream it to your TV! This is a great device and i like it so much that i bought one for ever room in the house.

I had Roku before this, so it's a little different without the remote or any actual apps. But the picture quality is excellent and it casts from the phone without any lag or problems. Good buy.

Although I did have some issues when setting it up (I didn't read the part that says it works only on 2.4ghz networks and not 5ghz), it has worked well since. Would prefer more customization options, but it's well worth the price.

We got the Chromecast as an option for my in-laws when they decided they wanted to stream things. We got them the Amazon fireTV stick, and the Chromecast. The fireTV stick is intuitive in its menus and remote, the Chromecast has to be used with another device. It's just slower and less easy to use. But, with that said, it interfaces easily with multiple tablets/phones for streaming content. It doesn't do a good job of recognizing a timer on a playback device, so be wary of using this in conjunction with your TV's sleep timer. It may just keep playing.

From the time we unboxed the product to the time we were able to use it took about 5 minutes. Easy to use and great functionality. Instructions for use are easy to understand.

It works as promised, easy installation and even easier to use. Happy with my purchase. I wouldn't rely solely on the Chromecast if you're thinking about cutting the cord, but it's a great addition to provide more viewing options.

great device for viewing content on the bigger screen. Easy to use once it's set up. And it's pretty easy to set up, too. Even a novice should not have any difficulty in setting this up. Works great with computers, phones and tablets.

I received one last year with a tablet to turn my tv into a smart tv basically. When I got a small tv for another room, I bought another cast for that as well. Great for entertainment and playing king/queen of the tv with tablet wars.

This is so easy to use and very comfortable too. I just have to go to an app on my phone like netflix or showtime of HBO go. Don't have to connect an HDMI. I can even watch movies on my laptop

Once I got the hang of it , simplicity took over. It was easy to set up with my smartphone and tablets and and using it at work for slideshows.

I bought it so I could add the HBO and showtime apps to my non smart TV. Works as advertised. Initial setup take about 10 minutes. I chose chromecast over the fire TV stick because its not completely biased toward amazon services.

great for turning an old dumb tv into a Smart TV works with several devices, any Android 2.2+ and IOS device I've used work well a lot of app support, even the dev community seems to be behind it
