I am an Apple product all the way person! However I recently had to buy a windows laptop and google chrome cast came in handy. This is the upgrade to them $20-30 one.

Casting works well and as expected from a variety of devices (windows PC, Apple and Android phones, iPad, JBL Speaker with Google Assistant) using a variety of software - Spotify, Netflix, Chrome, etc. Chromecast device runs hot, but other than that, it's seamless. Biggest issue is you can't create a HOME SPEAKER GROUP that includes the Chromecast Ultra. Bizarre. Chromecast Audio does support grouping, but if you pay twice as much for Ultra, then you lose that feature.

It only took a few seconds to attach to my tv. The Google home app on my phone made it real easy to configure. Now I have a 75 inch screen for muy phone and laptop.

It is a nice product by Google, but you need a phone or a table to control this device. This one doesn’t have any storage as well. If you are only streaming the video, this is a great product for the price.

I love my chrome cast. I can instantly stream almost anything from my Galaxy S7 to my tv. I use it often to stream music from Google Play to my home theater system

Works spectacularly. I can stream videos from my google chrome browser and watch it in 4k at high buffer speeds on my TV. Worth the extra cost for the Ultra version.

I love all things Google and upgraded one of my three normal Google Chromecasts to this Ultra. It was a great decision and a great pair with my 4K living room TV.

Use this to cast from my phone, works great, great picture, and if you’re not home much use in place of satellite, but have to keep internet.. You use it anyway..

Though my tv already has the smarts, I bought this to work with my Google Home so I can just tell it to find shows or turn to a certain channel/streamer app. It works well, fast, and great picture quality.

I have a Roku but wanted this to work with my google home, hooked up to my receiver to play Spotify on my speakers or to cast any shows. Easy to install and use.

This works great in a work conference room to cast either a browser or whole desktop to a large screen. Only complaint is that there is a bit of a lag between mouse movement and cursor movement on screen.

google chromecast introduced me to the world of streaming shows after we purchased a new tv. by far the easiest to setup, and easiest to use and I will never go back to anything other than chromecast.

I love not being so connected to cable tv. I can cast our espn subscription or my Beachbody on demand workout straight to our tv. The setup is super easy, and the interface is on your phone. Love it.

Our new tv has CHROMECAST built in, but we needed this for the old 55" TV. We are getting ready to "cut the cable" and wanted to be able to cast on the old tv

Great product, but no where does it tell you these do not operate on USB power. They are required to plug into a wall outlet. The Ethernet plug in is nice if your wifi speeds are less than excellent.

I love now well this works with my goole home mini. Feels so futuristic to talk at my TV to be turn on and off.

I love the Chromecast - we have one on each of 4 TV's on property, 1 in our suitcase for international travel and 1 at our mountain cabin. This product is GREAT - easy to use, set up and use. Great video and sound quality as well. Highly recommended to enhance your video experience on your HDTV TV's in concert with your smart phone and add-on services (Netflix, HULU, etc.).

The Chromecast Ultra allows for 4K streaming, which is worth it just for that! Just a note, it DOES need external power, unlike the original Chromcast.

I love my purchase. It was an easy process to setup. I was watching TV in minutes. Remote is your cell phone- which is a plus. You will never lose it!

Esketit! This works everywhere you go. Need to stream from your phone? Aux cord broke at your place? This will make sure you stream anything you want.
