There are a lot of choices in the market when you're looking for a security home camera/indoor, and variations of it. I won't get into the classifications, but just know there are 1080p, 2k, 4k, wired, wireless, indoors outdoors, weather, etc. The nice thing about this product is it's supported by google and well integrated into the ios/android app environment. Pop up the app, and click all cameras, and the neat little app nicely shows all your cameras. You can control things like night vision, off/on, sound, etc, but you won't be able to move the camera/rotate the camera, just be aware. Another thing to be aware of is the subscription vs non subscription for this and all the competitors, and what they bring to the table, I recommend do a little search on it before settling on the brand also. Finally, the picture quality is great, I would give it a 8.5/10. The speed/update/responsiveness is industry standard, and it's not great, but it's not bad either. I wish all the cameras of all brands are more responsive, or pull data from the camera or the cloud faster, but in time hopefully that improves but not right now. Overall, still a good price to performance ratio, highly recommend it.

Great upgrade for our family. We have the legacy Nest camera which we had in place for 7+ years and made the leap by purchasing one of these cameras. The amazing upgrade in clarity and quality of the video had me refresh all 8 cameras around the house.

We use these cameras both as a monitor in our young son's room, and in our living area to monitor the dogs while we're out. They are easy to set up and provide great quality footage.

Quality build and design. Power cord sufficiently long for most home locations. Somewhat laborious set-up process, but very clear.

I got this to cover my covered in patio, good choice so far, wanted something cheaper than the outside camera as was not really needed. Moved home with a covered patio, we will see how it fares outside. Does what I want to monitor my patio door and see when the dog eants to come back inside. Good animal detction would work well in side also but dont need that.

Nice camera. No issues. It paired well with the Google app. It was an additional camera for my home. I just wish they had a more attractive price. I still think they cost too much compared to other cameras.

so i got two of these new nest cam wired versions, i'm gonna be clear and say that for the price its OK, i do miss the older models that had a better megapixel then these and the images looked better on those when you zoomed in for a close up of a person, but these are not that bad for indoor use but inside of my basement where i have 16 very bright led

I purchased this camera on sale because I wanted something easy to set up (which it was). I love it. The picture quality is awesome. I use it inside my RV and have it pointed outside one of the windows. I get alerts on my cell phone if there is any activity. The alerts are specific: The camera informs me whether there's a vehicle, animal, person, or other uncommon nearby. It also has night vision (yet I turned it off since it reflects too much from the RV window). One can turn sound on or off also.

The cams are clear and the recording is good voice clarity is also good. it has a 360 degree view

Works well. Easy to install and clear picture. Purchased multiple for vacation home. Connection usually stable too.

Great camera for our family room. We can see kids, dog and anyone taking care of our home while away. Clear picture and very easy to place makes it a great camera. Easy to access through Google and easy to navigate videos.

I like this little camara and it works quite well, but my only issue is it continues to turn itself off and I constantly have to turn it on in the Google Home App. Other than that I would have given it a 5 star rating.

Great camera for the price. We use it to keep an eye on our pets, and the quality is perfect. Night vision works great, even in black and white, you can see everything you need to. Easy to setup through Google Home.

My apartment has the Nest thermostat, so i got a Nest & Lenovo display. Adsing this and the Doorbell camera have been freat additions. I replaced a $25 Yi camera with this. I love that i dont have to pay for a monthly subscription if I don’t need it, but the camera is still bery useful. It covers my entire living room, dinning room and front door. If i speak theought it, i can be headd clearly. I can view it on my Google displays, or in the Google Home app on my iphone, Android or iPads (I have a lot of devices). I would definitely recommend. I had one glitch where i couldnonly see a white screen on my phone, but audio was working. I unplugged the can, plugged it back ij and it started working again. I also have Google Fiber for internet, so everything just works really well together.

It is not too bad but seems to glitch some. Picture quality is great night or day. Easy to install and set up.

Good camera quality and I appreciate how it integrates with my other devices in Google Home. Good aesthetic design also, and unlike most cameras, it doesn't require a subscription to use basic features.

This Google Nest Cam works flawlessly and is incredibly easy to install. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable and user-friendly security camera.
