This watch being it's the first one from Google is rather good. Google gets beat up pretty hard on lots of their devices, however being this is their first it's pretty good. The battery life I'm getting at least 24 hours. When you first set it up of course the battery life is not going to be as good, and that's always the worst time to give a battery review, which a lot of people tend to do. Let things settle for a week or two and get everything set up and then see what the battery life is. Overall the syncing with the Google pixel 7 Pro phone has been very good. This watch has all of the data that you need to get through the day. The notifications are excellent. Even apps that are not installed on the watch can still give you notifications such as storm alerts. One interesting thing about the apps is that there is no native Gmail app on this watch which is rather surprising being it's a Google product. It's more odd because even Outlooks app is on here where you can go into your inbox for your email, where you can't with Gmail. Hopefully a future update will include Gmail. You are able to get your Gmail notifications though, which is good. There are many watch faces to choose from which is very nice. I only think this experience is only going to get better with each update. For a first device like this for Google this is rather good. I've been using it for over a week now which is still on the early side but so far it's been a solid experience. The Fitbit integration is great as well if you are coming from a Fitbit device you'll be very familiar with all of the metrics. No problem syncing with Fitbit. There is one other thing about the SPO2 sensor, at the time of writing this it is not active yet but it is available on the watch. I would imagine this is coming soon. It's another nice metric to have especially if you're used to it coming from a Fitbit product. The other gripe that we hear is the size of this watch being only 41 mm. Not sure why Google did not offer another size as well. I would imagine they're taking a lot of feedback on this and will offer two sizes next time. For me it still is fine with the 41 mm they do a good job with not showing the bezel with certain watch faces. Again overall very good experience so far and looking forward to the updates to come. For first effort they did a rather good job.

    Great value smartwatch for Android

I really like this watch! This is my first smartwatch, coming from a Fitbit Charge 5 which bricked on me. This watch has all the Fitbit features plus a lot more. I love how on Spotify you can download podcasts and music right on the watch and don't have to carry around my phone. Even my Pixel Buds connect directly to the watch! My only complaint is I wish there were more apps available on WearOS. Even Google's own Podcasts app is not available. I also wish Audible was available, but I doubt that will ever happen considering it's Amazon. The screen on the phone is clearly an OLED with perfect blacks, but bright colors still really pop and is pretty easy to read outdoors even when it's sunny. This thing has some really cool watch faces available for it. I think this watch is a really good value for the money. I was worried it was going to be slow and janky but it's very quick and smooth to operate. The band system is also very intuitive and you can wear the watch on either hand. The software also allows you to invert the watch image so you can have the dial on whichever side you prefer. Oh! One other feature I love is that you can use the watch as a remote control for your phone. When I go to bed, I have my phone in a dock on my headboard and usually listen to rain or white noise to fall asleep. If it gets too loud, I can just turn down the volume with the knob on the watch without having to fumble around in the dark. Awesome! Battery life says "up to" 24 hours but it easily lasts longer than that, even after a run and listening to podcasts. I usually get around a day and a half out of it. It charges very quickly as well. If you wear this watch to track your sleep, you'll be happy to know that as long as you have around 10% battery left when you go to bed, that's more than enough to last the whole night. Another useful feature is you can make and receive calls and texts on the watch. You can also use the watch to find your phone and the phone to find your watch.

Despite of the mixed reviews of the Pixel Watch from YouTubers and independent bloggers and journalist, my wife and I personally enjoy the watch and after a week of use, the battery appears to last much longer than the first few days after initial setup. The thick bezel doesn't bother us as the UI and watch interface does a great job blending it around the background. The thick bezel is as easily ignored as Apple's famous notch or dynamic island screen design. The Fitbit integration is a welcome addition which I personally think it's better than using Google Fit which lacks lots of features compared to other competitors like Samsung, Apple and Garmin. Regarding the 2018 Samsung Exynos chip, it's not a problem at all since the watch has a really well-designed UI and runs very smooth in all accounts. I think YouTube reviewers and the like are reviewing the watch too harshly and comparing it to other smartwatches that's been on the market for several generations. At this point, that's like comparing a new model first gen car to a 10th gen BMW car that's been redefined for several years. Remember, how Apple and Samsung started with theirs? They had several issues with their watch and wasn't perfect as well, especially the battery life. Give it time and the product will become better. Don't let other negative reviewers cloud your judgement. See it for yourself. Overall, I'll personally give this watch a 4 our of 5 stars.

Excellent smartwatch - pleasently surprised by Google's flagship smartwatch. The band is secure and comfortable. Can do almost everything that you can do with your phone. My Pixel Watch works flawlessly with my Google Pixel 7 Pro and Google Pixel Buds. The data from my FitBit app synced immediately. One word of advice: take time to go through the Pixel Watch tips - its well worth it!

One of the standout features of the Google Pixel Watch is its stunning display. The vibrant and crystal-clear screen makes navigating through apps, messages, and notifications an absolute joy. The battery life of the Pixel Watch has been nothing short of impressive. Even with consistent use throughout the day, including app usage and fitness tracking, I've found the watch to comfortably last well into the night. This reliability eliminates any concerns about constant recharging and allows me to stay connected without interruption. The Google Pixel Watch's connectivity options are also top-notch. If you want the best experience of a Vanilla/Pure Android Watch, this is it. And also Fitbit integration included. With Fitbit, the Pixel Watch tracks your continuous heart rate, steps, floors climbed, sleep stages, distance with GPS, and active exercise minutes, as well as having 40 different exercise modes. With so many workout options to pick from, there’s a high chance that your usual exercise routine can be tracked with Pixel Watch. You also get an ECG app, which can help detect signs of atrial fibrillation (A-fib). Hopefully the SpO2 sensor gets turned on via update. Battery life could be better but it is holding up for 24hrs. All sensors on and always on display the battery is at 20% at 24hrs for me. I've owned other Android Wear watches but this one feels the best when navigating around the menus. If you've operated a WearOS device in your past, this will feel no different. After experiencing the features it boasts when paired with a Pixel 6 Pro phone, I can say it has a lot to offer, being two days into ownership. Straight off, I felt how light and low-profile it is. I love the design and the screen, but dislike how easily it could glance off an object and be damaged. If you know first-iteration on-launch-day Google products like many, you'll know that theres lots and lots of minute bugs with the companion Watch App on the phone. Easily customizable software options, but sometimes the options don't work, and some coaxing will get it right. One true problem I've found is app updates on the watch -- you have to go into the Play Store on the watch itself to update the apps on it, rather than doing it through the phone like the companion app implies you can. Thats a tiny nugget, but all-in-all its another Launch Day Special from Google: lots of fun and definitely the Google product I've come to expect, but doesn't come without some kinks to work out, which there are only a few minor things. I'm not a big smartwatch guy, but this has turned me around.

Great smartwatch. If you want to just charge it once a day: You have to make some modifications to save battery. For it to last longer. Take into consideration I use my pixel waatch mainly to receive notifications from apps such as whatsapp, messenger, text messages, and other in cellphone apps notifications (uber etc..) and I track my workouts for 30 minutes and i track my sleep. Usually it charges fully if you let it charge for 30-45 minutes. It could last longer, but you would have to choose a very minimalistic face (each face affects the battery life differently). The original bands are very comfortable to wear all day. i do not take it into the shower with me since I usually get extra juice for my battery when I am showering. It works perfectly with fitbit and pixel pro 7. I attached a picture of the face i use.

I enjoy using my Google Pixel Watch. It's a good pairing with the Pixel series of phone's. It does everything advertised which isn't much and that's ok. Battery life isn't the best but it gets me through a day and a half. It takes a while to sync your data with the Fitbit app. Step tracking could be better but it isn't horrible. I expect a few feature drops from Google to improve the Watch where it is lacking. Hopefully the 2nd generation offers a larger screen size. It's an overall good 1st attempt from Google.

Hey there, JenniferL Thank you for posting your review on Google Pixel Watch. We're sorry to hear that your experience with the battery life of the watch has been less than ideal. A fully charged battery should last up to 24 hours with the Always-on Display feature turned off. We suggest turning on some of the settings to save power and extend the battery life of the device such as Battery saver, Full Doze mode and Bedtime mode. First off, its an excellent product. My only issue with it is the size of the display… being accustomed to the Galaxy Watch 4, this watch is small in comparison thus I had to return it. But lets me at least discuss what I like about it…. The way Google displayed the notifications on the Pixel Watch is different from WearOS on Galaxy Watches. Then there’s the way settings was implemented… I thought that was better compared to Galaxy Watch. I enjoyed the way app launcher looked on the Pixel Watch. Hopefully, next release Google gives two versions of the Pixel Watch… a small version and a much bigger one.

Hi there Xeon, thanks for sharing a review on the new Google Pixel Watch. We value your feedback and we'll make sure to pass this information to our product team. We're also happy to hear that the battery life is meeting your expectations, however, the battery life for Pixel Watch will always depend on how you use your device, and maximum battery life is always approximate and is based on testing using pre-production hardware and software. Use of certain features will definitely decrease the battery life. A full battery for Google Pixel Watch goes all day with a charge that lasts up to 24 hours to support sleep tracking and other features. Google Pixel Watch comes equipped with settings to care for and help extend battery life. The 24 hour battery life is based on the following usage:
      - 240 notifications.
      - 280 time checks.
      - A 5 min LTE phone call.
      - 45 min LTE and GPS workout with downloaded YouTube music playback.
      - 50 minutes of navigation (Google Maps) while connected to a phone via Bluetooth®️
      - The watch is configured with the default settings, including the Always-on display set to off.

If you're willing to try, you may check the features that you use most and compare them with the numbers above and see how well your Pixel Watch battery lasts. If you still have any concerns with battery life, or would like us to assist you with any support needs you may have with Pixel Watch, please feel free to contact us here:  https://support.google.com/googlepixelwatch/gethelp madebygoogle

I've never owned a smartwatch before I didn't go for the newer model as this was half off. I don't regret it, it's still a very solid watch, battery life seems fine for me. I really enjoy this watch. Almost zero complaints. One thing about this watch is the battery life it's fine for me. I'm glad I waited out on buying this watch because maybe the updates fixed the battery problem because my battery lasts a full day and some more. I'm loving the smoothness of the UI of wear os 3. I can't really think of any problem that I'm having with this watch. I don't mind the small screen I'm pretty sure the next gen gonna have a bigger screen

Great smart watch for those who do not have a Samsung or iPhone. I bought this after my Fitbit sense stopped working and it integrates many of the features that I liked from the Fitbit but also has much better compatibility for normal phone activities, texting, calling, maps, etc. Main drawback is the battery life. I have to charge it daily for over an hour.

Really enjoy the experience of having a whole Google ecosystem. Love the look of it. However there are some "odd" things at first that I needed to get used to. For instance the alarm app on the phone doesn't connect to the watch. At first I thought this was bad, but it's actually been beneficial to not have them connected.
