It was one of 2 brands recommended by Google. It's super-fast, easy to set up and expandable if I want to use it in a larger home.

Have WIFI throughout my whole house with no dead spots. Would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their old router.

Easily solves home connectvity
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After previously having a house wiring WiFi repeater system, I had problems getting it up and running after changing internet providers and the location of the central WiFi router. The service provider cited the Google Home system as being the best and easiest to set-up. Also, having Google behind the product means a lot. So, went to Best Buy, bought the system-in-a-box, brought it home, set it up and 15 minute later was up and running. I'm a technical person (engineer by education) and found the previous system I had utilized my technical skills. the Google system by comparison is so darn easy, nothing technical, just and snap to set up. Great bandwidth throughout my 2800 sq ft house.

Google WiFi Extender working exactly as described.

The setup was a breeze, app is easy to follow, and handy 'health' check via the app to ensure everything is working properly.
