Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the ease of use, excellent coverage, and straightforward setup of the Google Wifi AC1200 system. Many also praise the improved signal strength and extended range, resulting in better overall performance. While some users experienced connectivity challenges, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs these concerns. A few customers noted the system's higher price point.

I tried out Netgear Orbi first. I have a third story condo. Orbi kept cutting me off and had slower speed. I have a 300mbps internet. Although Google Wifi didn't give me 300mbps, it gave me constant connection at 150+mbps, and 300mbps+ in main router. What I really like about this is the stable connectivity. I didn't try out others but I would recommend Google since it's better bang for the buck compared to other companies'.

What an upgrade from an old single unit offered from the cable company. They were easy to setup, small enough to hide through the house, AND are stylish enough for ones that you can’t find a place to hide them. Pricier than the old ways, but more effective and inline with competitors

I already had a Google hub which worked great in about 25% of my 5000Sq. Ft. house but I was using 2 other routers for the rest of the house. When I moved around the house our IPads would pick up the strongest signal which often was not on the same network as our printers. I bought the three pack and my problem was gone. I went from the closest to my and one by one added the other two until the whole house was one network. They walk you through the setting up of each hop telling you if you are close enough or to move the unit closer. Each of the hops took less than 5 minutes each.

The store employee recommended these when I was changing out my router. Very easy to install and MUCH faster than the regular router style.

I was able to install the product with the instructions provided on the App. Internet speed is definitely faster than the Cisco router I replaced.

If your house is like ours, you have MULTIPLE people with MULTIPLE devices trying to stream off of one Wifi signal. This took care of our problems. I also love being able to designate a primary device, especially if I’m trying to stream a movie.

I have a decent size home and I wasn't getting Wi-Fi service in certain spot. This has corrected it. I bought the 3 pack because it's worth the money and I have them spread out. They are NOT an eyesore. They are sleek and blend it with the room.

Google Wi-Fi is easy to set up as nice controls and easy to sprinkle these nodes throughout your home. The software user interface is clean and interesting to see all the different devices connected to your network. The signal is strong, but not as strong as some other mesh network routers.

I paid the Geek Squad to set this up but I think it was a pretty straightforward process, easier than setting up a router and extender (which never worked the way it should have for us). Bandwidth and coverage throughout the house is much better than with the Belkin equipment.

The Google system is by far better than the other popular system. I wrote a review about the 3 pack I bought, and I recommend this system over the other ones hands down. Don't let the lower price fool you, this system is far better in every way.

    Extend Your WiFi coverage

The Google WiFi extenders are very good at producing an improved WiFi . In my case the issue was a new two story house that is concrete exterior and floors with the Internet provider service on the second floor. The one problem is that you must realize that this system like all extenders means you must select which network you are going to use - the Google WiFi or your Internet provider network. The Google service representative advised to that I should simply turn off the appearance of the Internet provider network and just use the Google network. Sadly this meant also going back to a number of items and resetting their networks such as the wireless printer and many of my homes smart appliances. Otherwise it was well worth the cost and extremely easy to install.

This has been my best purchase in a while, let alone wifi purchase. It's extremely easy to set up and took less than 30 minutes to set up all 3 units. I have a 2500 sqft house, so all three may be a bit overkill, but I'll take it any day over my previous set up. Now have full speed all throughout the house and almost no loss from the modem, It's nice to actually get what I'm paying for every month. I also like the ability to set up a guest network and control my kids connectivity during homework times and bedtime. Thank you to Google for making a mesh network affordable.

    Huge Difference in Satisfaction

We live in a ranch (rambler) home with 2000 square feet on the main and 1600 downstairs. Our WiFi was basically non-existent with the modem we received from our cable company, so we bought a Titan 1900 at the recommendation of customer service in a different store. It made only a slight difference. It didn't stretch out to the back yard, we couldn't stream MLB or Netflix without buffering every couple minutes, and it stopped working when the microwave was on. After a year of fighting with it, we gave in and purchased the 3-pack Google WiFi. WOW - what a difference!!! My only regret is not getting it sooner. We've been using it for about a month now and have not had one interruption. We've placed two upstairs - one by the smart 4K TV to stream seamlessly and one in the office. The main one is downstairs by the boys' video games. It stretches easily into the garage as well as the backyard by the pool (despite warnings that WiFi doesn't work near large pools of water. I get a report on my phone as to how things are going, and I can look at the app at anytime to see how many are connected. I like that there's a guest channel, too. I am not tech savvy, but I'm not completely clueless, either, and I like how easy and basic setup was. Setup took 10 minutes or so and they are just plugged in to the wall outlet. I'm so glad a friend recommended this product to me!
