Very effective technology only surpassed by how easy it was to configure. Only downside is a little pricey. Completely satisfied.

Should have gotten these sooner. Coverage is excellent for our 2 story 2000 sqft house. Even reaches the backyard with full bars.

I already own the OnHub by Google and the Google WiFi app is easy to use and administer so I thought this would be just as a easy to setup and administer. I was correct! Keep in mind you do need to have it tied to a google.com (or gmail) account and you can share administrator rights to other "managers" (aka family members). It is easy to add additional Wifi Access Points to increase the mesh network and reliability is good. I gave it 4 stars because it has only has one ethernet port to add another device (such as a wired desktop or Philips Hue base) and the customization of how to do port mapping or dedicated DHCP IP to specific devices is non-existent (I haven't found it).. Overall for a mesh network to be used in a house full of WiFi devices with options to create guest networks and user access (when do disable devices like kids iPads), this is a great product. The workaround for more ports would be to get a separate network switch.

I have Time Warner Cable(spectrum) and I found my internet terribly slow even though I'm paying for 300mbps. I bought my own modem(Arris) and this router and I've been getting an average of 356mbps. I've owned Airport Express, Arris and Airport Extreme. After using all those brands can tell you this Is the best I've used. Cons: You need the google wifi app to set up.

First review on Best Buy, but just had to pull the trigger because I am so impressed with this product. First of all, I am a pretty tech savvy person. I was looking for a way to manage the wireless network in our new home which our old Asus router couldn't quite handle with consistent coverage. The Google Wifi mesh system was the answer I was looking for. Super easy to install - plug in one of the routers into the modem with the provided ethernet cord, download the app, follow the steps and all done. I have had consistent, fast internet without any issues.

Really like these...set up pretty easy...like the app and all the info it shows ....but we have a large home...with an upstairs....need more than 3 to cover ours. Still have dead spots. But I think they would be great in a smaller home or a single story.

I'm extremely satisfied with Google Wi-Fi. Setup was easy, and results are great. Aside from faster overall Wi-Fi, I'm very happy with the fact that it enables mobile devices to roam around the house without users having to change SSIDs.

Was getting low speeds through areas of my house, as soon as i connected google wifi all around different point of my house, the wifi connection was the same as if i was connected directly to the modem. Best purchase i have ever made!!

Looking for a simple, long-reaching wireless router? Look no further. This single router is good for a small apartment, but if your place is bigger, go with the three pack. The first one needs to be connected to a modem, but any other one by itself just needs an outlet to work in conjunction. Feel free to read up on more specifics, but for the easiest, quickest, and best way to have a simple router that works great...this is the one.

I haven't had any dropouts, has a stronger signal than my old wifi. I like how it shows all the devices and bandwidth being used by each. It has the ability to turn off wifi to specific devices to a schedule or manually. This is useful to help my son concentrate on his homework. Wish there was a way to block youtube or instagram when my son does his homework on the computer because it distracts him, he doesn't have the ability to resist the temptation. All configuration setup is done through a smart phone.

I don’t know why I never purchased this before. Works wonders. I’m amazed. I have xfinity cable and my owne router/modem I bought at bestbuy cause there’s stink the modem does ok but there is a lot of concrete in my house and speeds are very slow especially with my WiFi security camera system. I got this goggle WiFi and it came with 3 bases and I purchased another and it works amazing. So fast. It even has either net port on back to connect to anything giving it internet. Speeds as if that electronic was hard wired. I love it

A "techie" that works for me recommended the Google Wi-Fi. I have a 3600 sq ft house and two acres. By putting one of the consoles in my home closest to the barn, I can pick up signal at the barn as well. When I went to Best Buy to look at routers, the sales rep also recommended the Google Wi-Fi and said almost word for word what my "techie" had said. I believed them and bought it. It was a great buy on my part. I really can't imagine how we all were online previously without it!

We finally decided to try this for our two houses. We had a booster on our old WiFi router and it didn’t work all the time. We had to unplug our modem and router all the time. And we barely had a signal at our mother in law quarters next door. So, after buying this we have had no problems. The signal is great. It reaches our whole property out in the country. And we haven’t unplugged anything in over three weeks. I would highly recommend this. And we love the app with all the extra features. It’s super easy to set up, too.

Ok, my husband told me "we needed this". I was like yeah right. For once, I'm soooo glad I listened to him. Our wifi in our home was always spotty. For example, it "might" work in our backyard today. Half the time, it wouldn't work in our master bedroom. I just always took that as a sign I didn't need to watch TV. He plugged these in and we have WiFi everywhere. It's amazing. I had no idea that our Wifi was that bad. Super easy to install. Everyone needs one of these.
