This works wonderfully no matter its compact look. It is fast and covers a large area for the one router I have.

Living in a split level house can cause problems with getting wifi to work well. Since buying the Google Wifi Mesh (3-pack), I have had no issues with wifi, especially in the kitchen on the main floor, where I previously had a lot of interference. It was easy to install and set up with an app on my phone. We have one of the three on each floor and while there are a lot of wifi systems available, the simplicity of the Google Wifi Mesh works well for me.

So my grandparents live in a large home in Miami that has thick walls which most routers cannot penetrate. Extenders were spotty at best and they had no ethernet running anywhere in the home. Google Wifi was the trick! I cannot attest to top speeds (they only have a 25mbs connect) but they did the job more than serviceable. Crucially, they allow me to remotely support them. they are basically hands off, needing no support from me. Cannot recommend enough for similar use cases!

I didn’t get the three together all I needed was one because I live in an apartment. I had an apple router and all of a sudden my WiFi just started getting super slow and my stuff started buffering all the time. I eventually got rid of it and got this router.. all my speeds I’m suppose to get cane back instantly and have been great ever since getting this google WiFi.. I would recommend this to any and everyone that new a router or to replace one they have already

After much research I decided on the Google Wifi unit to replace my Netgear router. My house is a little over 5000 sq ft and there were certain areas of the house where the signal was weak. This system fixed that issue. We now get a strong signal anywhere in the house. The only drawback is you will need a switch if you have more than one wired device. Fortunately you can get 8 port switches for around $25. After about 2 months of ownership I definitely would recommend

I live in 3000 sq ft house and have always had trouble spots with WiFi signal strength. Not any more... the Google WiFi is amazing at covering “dead zones”. Place them throughout the house and your troubles are gone.

These Google Wifi systems are very simple and easy to set up but they provide outstanding speed and coverage.

The google wifi router was my choice because of the ability to add to it later. The mesh system is perfect for larger homes but I currently live in an apartment. I wanted the option to expand as my living expanded. In terms of the device, it's an excellent google product. The app that controls the router is user-friendly and lets you prioritize the devices that need the most bandwidth. Set up was easy and there have been zero issues with connectivity.

I deployed this at my mom's house, which is a 2 story, about 2600 sq foot. Due to the materials the home was built with during the late 80's, our comcast would peak out at around 60-75mbs download. Our plan is supposed to be at 175mb down/12mbs up. I have tried different access points, our best was an Apple Airport Extreme. I tried extending it with a spare Airport Extreme as well. I work in IT, working with Networks so I have tried everything from central placement, adjusting all settings (tried all channels) could never get above 75mb. Bypassing the access point and directly into the cable modem reports the full speed from Comcast. After installing the Google Wifi, I can report from all points of the home, performance and speed drastically improved. I am now getting 160-175mbs download on the speed tests. The only con is that with it's simplistic interface, you are limited in terms of advanced setup. You can change the WAN IP address, but you can't change the LAN address. I had to change all my devices that were set up as static IP from 10.0.1.xxx to Google's 192.168.xxx.xxx. Some people may not like this, but I don't mind that you have this tied to your Google account. This allows me to monitor the network when Im out away (I already moved out of my mom's house years ago) so I can make sure my mom's internet is up and running, and can make adjustments when necessary. This is still out of stock everywhere! I'm luck that I was able to get my order in when it launched on Best Buy's website, got it in a week.

This is a very good system for our house. This replaced our Apple airport, which couldn't handle all of our numerous devices we've accumulated for wi-fi needs over the years. We are very happy with the Google system.

This router, recommended by Best Buy agent, has expanded and stabilized my internet connection. Along with a new modem (bought at same time), my connection is faster and more reliable - most satisfied with purchase.

I love my google WiFi! The installation it is so easy and now I can have strong internet signal on my whole property!
