Out of the box this is very easy to setup.signal has good strength and it is easy manage with google WiFi app.

I bought 2 of these to replace an Apple Airport router. My wireless internet has been a significant amount better since I set them up. They also have an ethernet port if you need to feed a device that doesn't have wifi or has a poor wifi card in a different room from your main router. The app has a lot of features as well, including the ability to test your internet speed, test your mesh signal, and some parental controls if you need them.

Easy to set up. Seamless wi-fi over large areas. Auto updates. My Wi-Fi speed has improved to a consistent 90mbs throughout the House, garage and backyard. Just buy this and don’t mess with the rest.

To everyone trying to wi-fi your house, these work !!! As you may have read, typical range finders lose up to 50% MBPS. Now if you have super fast speed, this may not matter. But I live in the county without buried cable and my typical speed is 12. I can stream 4k movies only because my speed is the same 5 feet from the router or 55 feet away which is where my TV is .... no difference. I highly recommend and installation was a breeze.

I was sceptical at first with the strength of the units at only 1200. I was originally going to test them then return in the allotted time frame but they worked out so well that I decided to keep it

I love the ease of setting these up, and I love the way they look. When I say they're easy to set up, they are truly a breeze and a pleasure to get up and running. The downside is, for me they were significantly slow than my old router. Granted, the real benefit of these is the size of the coverage they offer, which I have no criticism of; they spread your WiFi around your house well. But, they were just noticeably slower, enough that it became frustrating. I might recommend these to someone who has no tech background and just wants to set up a WiFi and isn't worried too much about a bit slower speed.

I moved into a new home that was considerably larger than our previous and now I have a seamless Wi-Fi throughout with Google mesh Wireless. Set up was super easy, barely an inconvenience. I've had it up and running for 6 months and I've had zero problems. I haven't found a weak spot on any of the three floors we have them (basement included) and if I did I could just add another. The total area we're covering is ~4,000 square feet.

Our smart TV was constantly rebooting, Robert Profitt of Salem Best Buy suggested that our router was out of date and suggested we try Google’s WiFi whole home system. It worked! Thank you, Robert!

Good extension of my current router— works well in a large house

I already owned a single puck and decided that I wanted to increase my wireless coverage and balance all of my devices across multiple pucks. The value of buying a three pack, even if you only need two, is the best value for these. Setup was easy to setup as a single unit or to add to an existing puck that has already been setup. With these, I never worry if I have enough wireless coverage or too many devices on the wireless at a time.

We built a new house and I wanted to make sure the Wifi signal strength would be consistent throughout. This is a home run. I hardwired three of these by running Cat-6 in the walls and daisy-chaing them using a switch in the basement. Totally don’t need to hardwire them but they work great this way. I’m going to add a fourth in the detached garage for sigal in the back yard and for the wifi garage door openers. Highly recommend.
