Great Router, with a stylish look. Great speeds and coverage with just 1

So I purchased this Google router for my house and after placing them strategically in the basement, ground floor and second floor, I get great coverage all around the house and deck and grass area! I love the fact that it has 2 gigabit ports that I can use for my smart lights or my blink system. I highly recommend this product.

The setup process couldn't be simpler. Also love the fact that it keeps itself updated with firmware, etc without requiring any manual steps. This is a perfect solution for those who are not tech savvy, like my in-laws who needed better wifi coverage in their house, but didn't want to deal with keeping the software updated manually.

Setup is easy, you just need either an iPhone or any Android device, install the app and go. Downside is it is not meant for a long home, with the 3 units it can be a challenge. They ballpark you at about 35' of separation. If you have a wet wall or lots of older wiring, you'll have to play with the placement of the devices to get good coverage. If you have a wired home, this issue goes away, simply plug the unit into the cable and then you can plug another wired device (computer or printer) into the ethernet out on it and have your WiFi and wired devices... OBTW - I have deployed this in 3 places at this time.

Setup took literally minutes. Managing though all is very convenient and easy. Only purchased the one and had improved my coverage drastically.

Easy to set up great coverage - looks great easy set up through the app

Straight out of the box, this was really easy to set up and the instructions were very clear. The design is clean and my wife is happy enough to have the devices visible on cabinets around the house. The wifi coverage and speed around the house is greatly improved over our previous single access point and it all works brilliantly with our Xfinity modem.

I called google because I needed help with the set up. A very professional lady talked me through the set up until everything worked perfect.

The wifi in my home has always been weak and spotty, but Google Wifi gives us a strong and reliable signal in every room. The parental controls are also a must to make sure the kids are safe online, and the ability to pause individual devices and set bedtime schedules helps every maintain good technology habits. Definitely recommend!

Love it. Easy to set up and great coverage through out my house

My house (4,800 sf) is spread out and Wi-Fi seemed impossible to get everywhere. Thanks to this system, we have excellent coverage on both floors. I have only begun to explore the parental controls on the kids.

I have used a lot of routers in these years. Every new router will improve in speed and coverage, however, there is still a lot of dead zone in my house and extender doesn't help. The meah wifi is the best solution. I am sure there will be a lot of improvements for the next generation router, but this router gave n the best solution to resolve home router problem.

Had several dead spots in my home with previous router. After reading reviews decided to try these. They work great. Easy install and setup.

Google's first foray into the mesh wireless networking isn't bad though it's mainly aimed at the masses and not at tech geeks like me. Very easy setup but there's barely any configurable options. Your only option is basically what to call each node. Now that may change in the future but currently there's no advanced options like static IP, port fwding, etc. One major gripe is that it phone homes a lot and sometimes when it doesn't receive a good response, it basically resets your system and you'll have to set it up. I was lucky and it didn't happen to me but it happened to plenty of people. Just google (ha!) and you'll see.

This is great, my house is spread out and I have seven of these, almost one in every room to facilitate streaming high definition television on Wi-Fi. The app is easy to use and set up and allows turning off Wi-Fi for individual devices, prioritizing certain devices or pausing Wi-Fi for all devices for dinner or on a schedule

These units solved my WiFi woes in a matter of minutes. Setup was quick and easy (10 minutes total), app experience was simple but pleasant, and positioning WiFi points were a breeze. Some advanced features are scarce on this device (port forwarding) so some IT Pros or advanced users might find that a deal breaker. I highly recommend this product.

If you have ever tried to set-up your own wifi you know how ugly, clumsy, and terribly frustrating the set-up software usually is. Google hit it out of the park with convenience on all levels with these. Set-up is easy, maintenance is easy, setting priority devices so more bandwidth goes to so certain devices is amazing. Can't say enough good things.

Our modem wifi router had some range and performance issues. Installed these orbs around the house and now am getting solid wifi everywhere.
