Great mesh WIFI. Easy to use and setup. Covers very well.

I've struggled for years getting solid wifi coverage throughout my home. My main modem and router are not located in a great spot, and can't be moved. They are in a small bedroom alcove on the first floor at one end on the home. My office where the main desktop is, is located on the second floor on the other end of the building. Coverage was always weak, and dropped. When I added an extender speed was terrible. I'm a photographer and web designer and need reliable speed. My last modem was cooked by a power surge so I bought a Google on-hub modem with thoughts of expanding to their mesh system with additional units. The OnHub unit alone worked about as well as my previous router. It took a month on back order but I finally received my set of three google wifi units. I now have a mesh of four units: the OnHub plus three. Installation was EXTREMELY simple and fast. After experimenting with their placement around the house I've now got wifi blasting everywhere. Speed in my office range in the 40-80 mps range. The cable service into the house is 200mps. The signal is strong and steady. I've actually got my IMac connected to the Google unit in my office via Ethernet cable. Works great.

This product works extremely well with 3 devices to help distribute the connections throughout the house. We did have periodic problems in the beginning with connection to the modem. Customer support was very good and we found it was the modem not the Google Wifi. After the modem was replaced it has worked perfect.

This product changed our wifi reception upstairs from 3mbps to 48mbps. It was easy to set up and the ability to give priority status to devices is great. I also like that I can cut off the wifi to certain devices during homework time. Great product! Definitely recommend Google Wifi to anyone who is suffering from whole house wifi deficiency.

Have to download the google home app to a smartphone to install this but it does make it easy. No need for a laptop to install but does give both dedicated wifi ESS and also guest accounts that you can limit or turn off. Kids not coming to dinner? Shut it down! Also can more units or buy the 3 pack to create a house mesh. This was used in a dorm where wifi sucked buy hi-speed lan was available. Dropped this in and over 100 MPS speed. Came with a bad LAN cord so thats why its 4 star only.

Our house is long and WiFi in bedroom was pretty weak. This has improved it quite a bit. Fairly straight forward to install.

I have had Linksys routers for years, after giving this router a try, I will be staying with Google. The router is easy to setup, amazing user interface (simplistic, easy to use) and you get to use Google's DNS servers which I noticed a incredible jump in speed! I also like it's not bulky and is simple to setup a mesh network.

A few problems with set up but support was very good and worked through them with me. Solved all my dead spots in the house.

The installation took 10 minutes..went very smoothly. The three pods cover the entire house with"blazing" download speeds.

Bought these about two years ago and haven’t looked back. I live in a two floor 2300 Sq foot House with one puck upstairs and two downstairs. I get perfect coverage throughout the house, my garage and my yards. Very user friendly and the app makes it super easy to control.

I set this up late at night. I was not getting good reception. The following day it was perfect. I find it quite fantastic.

This has been a great product and was simple to setup. We used to have dead spots around our house where we couldn't event get service in some rooms like our bedroom (other end of the house) and now our smart TV can stream 4K shows with ease.

Have a 3300 sq. ft. home. Youngest son's room was too far to get good WiFi signal on conventional router. Got this mesh WiFi on suggestion from Verizon tech. What a difference! Able to get seamless full bar coverage throughout the house, even in basement and attic. Easy to set up too.

Fast network speed, reliable signal and easy setup

I installed this in a friends house who was having terrible trouble with their older style single piece multiple antenna wifi router. Since installing this at equal distances throughout their home, they have not had one instance of signal drop or any lag or buffer with their music or movies. They are happy and so am I:)

Overall easy to set-up and very reliable. The performance is quite good but not perfect for larger homes.

This is our home's first mesh system and we could not be happier. Our 1,100 sq. ft. property has complete coverage. The system itself was incredibly easy to set up. A manual is included and the Google Wifi App, required, walks you through every feature from set up to maintenance. The most difficult part of instillation was waiting for the updates, which too about 2 hours, which from reading other reviews, appears standard when first integrating the device into your system. The features and customization are great, from Family Wifi to Guest Wifi, I've had absolutely no issues to report so far. Additionally, the fact that I simple move or add a pod on the spot for better coverage and use the "Priority device" feature is fantastic! I see some comments noting that you cannot change the color of the light emitted from the pods, this is true, but not a deal breaker by any means. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a stable and affordable mesh system. Thank you for your time.

The Google WiFi router does exactly what I need and more. I can work on several devices, Run all my WiFi enabled devices, and have friends join the network. The signal is so strong now, I can get it on my phone when my car is parked on the street! Great purchase that can grow with your needs.

While I consider myself tech savvy, I'm no computer expert. Network jargon confuses me and I lack the patience for a complicated setup. However, our old Apple Airport Extreme couldn't cover our entire small home (about 1700 sqft split between two floors) and we were paying for 300+ mbps speeds and barely getting half of that even close to the Airport. After reading the reviews, I decided to take the plunge on the Google Mesh and I couldn't be happier. The setup was as simple as plugging in a few cords, downloading an app on my iPhone, and scanning a QR code on each device. It took about 15 minutes and worked immediately. Now I am getting speeds well over 300 mbps at my main router (the one closest to the modem) and over 100 at the other two points (one in the room at the back of my house about 60 feet from the main and one upstairs directly above the one in the back). Plus I can turn off my kids' iPads through the family functions with the tap of a button on my phone. If you want a great router to cover your entire home, this is a great option.
