Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the ease of use, excellent coverage, and straightforward setup of the Google Wifi AC1200 system. Many also praise the improved signal strength and extended range, resulting in better overall performance. While some users experienced connectivity challenges, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs these concerns. A few customers noted the system's higher price point.

We were experiencing slowness and dead spots with a wireless route. Talked to the rep and said it was the way to go. We purchased the one with 3 connectivity points and our problem has been solved. No more kid complaints about not be able to access the internet, whew!

We never had good WiFi throughout our house until I installed the Google WiFi System. I had previously installed the Apple Airport and that helped in a small area but the Google WiFi System helps throughout our home and the garage as well. Wish I had installed it sooner!

After reading a lot of reviews, I foolishly thought it would solve all my problems. Well, there have been a number of hiccups and disappointments, but overall, it's working and gives me pretty good coverage in the house. (large 3 story house). 1. I was planning to do ethernet backhaul between the units as I have ethernet on each floor. Whenever I tried this, my Internet went dead (even other things plugged in couldn't reach.) Apparently it's very finnicky about what switches, etc it's plugged into. I still haven't figured this out, and right now I'm using the (slower) wireless backhaul (communication between the nodes to the internet) 2. My linux drivers have trouble connecting to the network (it's a known bug) so I have to disable WirelessN mode. (another slowdown boo) 3. It uses a different subnet (not 192.168.1.x) than my old wifi, so I have trouble reaching my wired printers on the network connected to my original internet router. That said, the family controls are pretty neat, and it's easier to see who's on, and in general it's functioning pretty well. While I'm not a certified network technician, I'm pretty technical, and have managed IT departments. I was a little worried about not being able to control the details as you apparently can with the Aeros, and I think I was right. If your overall needs are simple, it probably works as smoothly as a lot of the reviews suggest. So I hesitate to say I wouldn't recommend it, but Caveat Emptor...

There were several dead zones. Old system had to be restarted 2-4 times a week. All areas of house now covered now. Purchased in June 2019 and have never had any issues. Like any home, there are 3-6 devices at a time streaming. Was very easy to setup.

My husband and I purchased this for our new home in an attempt to avoid any routers as this has never worked out well for us. We were between the Orbi, Eero, or this. Ultimately after reading many reviews and looking at price point, we chose Google Wifi. I was put in charge of set up, which had me worried as I'm not always good with technology things, especially when things go wrong and require troubleshooting. To my surprise, set up was a breeze! I downloaded the app which gave me very simple and easy to follow instructions. I had 3 of them set up in the house, fully functioning, in less than 10 minutes! We have used it now for 2 weeks and have not had one dead spot or trouble with needing to restart etc. I understand we haven't used it very long, but so far we are extremely pleased with our purchase and happy we didn't go with one of the more expensive brands just because they "appeared" better. We have already recommended this to many family members and friends.

    Awesome Mesh Wi-Fi

We did not have the best Wi-Fi set up in our home, the modem/router was stuck on one side of the house due to the wiring. We finally invested in a mesh router and for the first time have Wi-Fi over our entire home! It is extremely easy to set-up using an easy to use app.

This was so easy to install. It took me less than 10 mins to set up with the app, and had it all in the location I wanted. Now my internet system is not all cluster in one little spot. This is so much easier to install than the Netgear wifi extender.

This router was so easy to set up and working amazingly! Google has the easiest and best Wifi setup available. You are able to diatrivuye bandwidth To the devices you want and also can limit people’s usage. It also is good to look at visually. I highly recommend.

This should be tempered with "but I haven't had that many". I bought the 3 pack and have full bars throughout the house and in my detached shop about 30' from the house. Not that easy to set up but then you have to take my skill level into account.

Before I installed the Google WIFI my Internet signal was very weak at the opposite end of my home from where I had to have my old router connected. After, the Internet signal is on steroids anywhere in you are in the house. Absolutely love it and would recommend this to all.

I have a three base system and we replaced an old netgear router that had served us well but just wasn't covering the whole house consistently. This system is great. Easy to set up and use. Great coverage. I have solid coverage outdoors even which is nice when streaming music.

Solved our Wi-Fi problems. Since the printer is not connected to this, we have to reconnect to the printer using IP printing and it works great. It is slightly pricey compared to the single device, but well worth it.

After struggling for years with consistent coverage, the Google Wifi is a convenient, low-management solution and provides a solid/stable wireless network connection. Networking pros will find some of the features lacking, but this is a no-fuss product overall

I have the whole set but I need another one to extend my range and it worked perfect. The setup was easy and signal is strong. I wish the price was a little cheaper since it's just adding an extender but it works and that's really what I care about.

Initially, this was not great. We had internet issues. I ended up needing to buy additional hubs. I also found that moving the main router out of our closet was a game changer. The app is great, although I had to manually identify all of the devices in our home.
