I hesitantly purchased this system after originally thinking I just needed a stronger router. I have the fastest speed internet that our company offers, yet we constantly dropped connection. Our house is about 1500 square feet, but we decided to go with the 3-pack anyway to ensure a strong connection. I easily figured out how to shut off the router portion of my modem/router combo. Then began setup of the connection points. Instructions for set up were great! The google Wifi app walks you through the whole process. I have not lost connection once since we installed about a week ago. Before this, I had to change my routers channel or reset it daily, sometime several times a day. Also, we have 3 PS4s, 1 desktop, 5 phones, 1 tablet, 3 chromebooks, and several TVs that sometimes will all be using the internet. So this is able to handle a huge demand.

Google lives by it's standards. Needless to say, One of the best products for mesh n/w.

If you're looking to create a MESH network, Google has created a pretty decent device. I had previously used a router and wireless bridge to extend my setup, but after a firmware update eliminated the features I used, I was forced to change my setup. Google doesn't provide as many custom features as other companies do on their router, but they are making it as simple as possible so the homeowner can set this up themselves.

I was looking to update my router and chose this one. My first with a mesh wifi and I love it. Speeds do not seem to drop very much, even when I am across the house. You do have to download the Google WiFi app but that was not an issue for me. Very easy set up.

Best solution for the money in the market. Great coverage for my whole house, 3200sqft.

It works great and it was easy to hook up. I'm able to have service in the back of the house.

This is probably, by far, the easiest Wireless router I have set up in my life. It's almost just plug and play. I probably had it up and running within 15 minutes. I would highly recommend this router if you just want something that will just WORK.

Fast. Easy to setup. Blankets my home (3 stories) in fast WiFi. Happy with this setup.

The Google Wifi AC1200 Dual-Band Whole Home Wi-Fi System works perfectly in my house. The set up is easy and it maximizes output by determining points of low coverage via the phone app. I would highly recommend this product instead of those outlet wifi extenders.

Got this unit for our condo because it worked so well at the house. Works great. So easy to set up and have t had all the issues we used to have with the standard modem setup...not a tech expert if that’s the wrong term sorry.

The only fault that I find with it is that has to have a wired connection to my switch. I was hoping that it would just extend my original wifi network and all would be good. It is otherwise pretty simple to add on to and install. I would recommend getting the three pack though. I bought 2 originally because I thought it worked like I said above and it didn't quite get the range I wanted. So no speed issues.

I've had my Google router for a few months now and so far it's been working great! I love how easy set up is and how I can control everything through the app. Being able to restart the router through the app is a big plus. It has a really nice look to it also.

Replaced a traditional router where coverage was hot or cold in various places. Now I get WiFi everywhere, even in the back yard. Set had a glitch where it couldn't detect the other devices even though they were sitting next to each out. Finally started working.

This is probably one of my favorite purchases in recent history. It’s so easy to setup and use and is compatible with apple completely. Also gives me complete control on WiFi which is Awesome. I love it. I would buy another one in a heartbeat if I needed it

Great Wi-Fi my speed went from 30mbps to 100mbps and fills my 3800 square foot house.

For someone who's looking to just connect devices to internet this is sufficient and easy to use with the Google Wifi App. For someone who needs more specs and doesn't need hub support this is not ideal, that said it does act well as a single router.
