I used it to re sod some dead grass areas in my back yard. It works great for medium sized areas and is very quite since its electric. It does go thru the battery pretty fast but I have a lot of the green works tools and about 9 batteries so i was able to rotate them. Id say i went thru about 5 or 6 charges.

Great buy from Best Buy. The package arrived in good condition. I'm looking forward to sprucing up some low spots in my yard for an updated lawn next spring. I've been pleased with other Greenworks products in the past and project similar performance with the tiller.

Does the job just as described by Greenworks. They don't exaggerate so it meets expectations. The power of the 80v is impressive. I've never used a cultivator/tiller before so I have nothing to compare it with. This one arrived quickly, was easy to assemble, and easy to use. I purchased it to till the backyard, because I am landscaping it on my own as a hobby and want fresh sod down in the spring. I think I can get the ground prepared a patch at a time by spring with this tool. I am old, short, and female and even I can use this tool. I would never have thought I could do it! I don't know how long the battery lasts, because I run out of steam before it does. oh! It is so quiet! This is a really good deal here at Best Buy. If you compare the price of a battery and a charger alone, the cultivator is free. When you consider the special Best Buy offer with the free extra battery... well you're making money now. Buy this with confidence. You will be so impressed with yourself by what you can do with this tiller.

I take pride in doing all my outside landscaping and yard work. I LOVE anything Greenworks beyond the moon. Solid brand, great price (wait for the sales my friends) This Cultivator/Tiller prepares my soil before planing my seeds. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver. The battery charges easy and lasts for so long.I would recommend always go with 80 V instead of 40V. Super powerful and keeps the charge through my gardening time.Super easy to keep one battery charged while using greenworks. I have a few battery and charges so I never run out of battery.

Battery operated is superior in noise compared to my old gas tiller. The tines on this tiller are compact and close together. It took approximately 30% more time to till my garden compared to my gas tiller as it is very narrow It is very good for tilling a garden that has been tilled before. Iit leaves the soil very finely crumbled. Even though it has lots of power It would not be the best for breaking new ground as it lacks the typical lever that trails behind on most tillers. I had to use a lot of forearm power to keep the tiller “pointed down” and tilling the ground.

My gas tiller finally quit running, so I thought I would try a battery powered one! I had previously bought a 80 volt lawnmower so I bought this 80 volt tiller. I am impressed with the power and strength of the battery. My garden is approximately 600 square feet and this tiller works great and I would recommend this to folks that also have a smaller garden.

Way more powerful than expected, I was able to till my entire chicken run (which is probably about 80'x20') on two charges and it did a great job of really loosening up that top 5 or so inches of soil

I am very pleased with the quality of build for this item. I used it on "never plowed" ground around one of my larger trees. I used it forward and backwards. I found that pulling it backwards got better and deeper results. It never stalled, it just "bumped" over the thicker than an inch in diameter tree roots and tore through smaller roots. (Probably not a good thing for the tree but I did backfill the ground with nutrient rich dirt and fertilizer for the tree so I imagine that this was a trade off for the tree.) I used a 4.0 Ah battery and tilled a 18 x 18 foot patch with ease. I am up in age and tilling for about 45 minutes was hard work. But the results were great! The packed ground was broken up and ready for my final finishes. I own several Greenworks products and this is one of my best buys.

This tiller is not designed as a beefy backyard tiller. It’s designed to till 5 inches of soil. That it does extremely well. It’s light and my wife can use it to till in veggie and Flower gardens. It’s not designed to create new beds where you have turf. This compliments our lawn mower, trimmer, edger and blower that use the 80 volt system. No more smelly gas cans in the garage.

Great for quick tilling and planting. Small footprint. I bought it for a somewhat big job and it did well. I have a lot of 80v batteries including 4ah ones, but was still surprised how long it lasted on a 2ah one it brings.

This tiller is easy to start and use. It does a great job on my flower beds and tilling between rows. We have a larger tiller that we use to till the entire garden. This tiller is small and would take longer if we used it. But it's excellent for getting rid of weeds between rows. It can be hard to navigate sometimes but that could be an operator issue. I'm still learning to use it. It charges quickly and lasts long enough to complete several projects.

This Tiller works really well for small gardens, it has been several years since we have had a garden in the spot I tilled with this little tiller, it cut through the hard ground really well, the light weight of this tiller made the job very easy, I used the 4AH battery from my Greenworks lawnmower which I noticed didn’t even use half of the charge. I would recommend this tiller for small gardens.

Great lawn tool that saves your back and makes planting and yard work so fast and easy. I highly recommend this being in your lawn tool line-up. If you are debating whether it is worth it or not--it is worth it!

For the price, ya can't beat it! I would not try to use this for larger jobs, but if you're just trying to till a 10x10 piece of land...I'd say you're fine.

Nice cultivator good for medium level jobs. If the motor is put under too much stress the cultivator shuts down until it cools off. Works well for a small garden with soil that is not too compacted. Light weight. Will run for about 30 minutes on full charge and charges in about 30 minutes.

Easy to assemble. Worked well on previously tilled garden.

Really good tool it gets the job done I really recommend it.
