This Greenworks surface cleaner use water only and is commonly used to clean large-surface-area spaces made of hard materials. This includes sidewalks, driveways, garage floors decks, and patios to name a few. The spray bar under the surface cleaner will begin to rotate and create pressure, allowing the surface cleaner to glide along the surface.
The PSI of the unit is manipulated by the type of nozzle tip connected to the wand when using the unit. It works but I feel like it makes me work more than I should have. Now it does get the job done but I would recommend a diffrent product

There are many variables to giving the surface an even finish, for instance the actual pressure of the water impacting the surface changes if the washer is moved too quickly. This can cause some areas clean more thoroughly than others, requiring you to perform additional passes. This surface cleaner uses water only. The spindle itself has two arms that have water outlets on the end of the arms (closest to the exterior of the cleaner). The cleaner has bristles all along the end of the surface cleaner to work with the water coming from the spindle inside. The cleaner may get clogged at times due to what you are cleaning or due to calcium build up. The pivot point often stuck, leading to the washer off the plain, had to manually adjust the position to make it paralell to the ground. It is only suited for some light duty cleaning. I ended up going back using the wand and tip, which does a better, easier, and faster job than this.

Box stated a User Manual was in the BOX - it wasn't. Looked easy to use - It hardly cleaned the patio cement! The tools that came with my GreenWorks pressure work better than the Surface Washer! Save your money!
