The case was purchased for my 7 year old grandson. We all know how children can be with electronics and this is the second case that I have purchased for him for his iPad, they are tough, durable and keeps the thin design of the iPad from breaking under his playing with it and fighting for it with his 2 year old sister. Would recommend this is the case you buy if you want your iPad protected and not broken.

I bought this for my 8 year old daughter as she likes to take her IPad with her EVERYWHERE rain or shine. This case so far has been very durable and the few times it has got wet, no water was on the inside. The already attached screen saver and the outside has endured a few drops and so far no damage to the IPAD. I highly recommend this product as of this writing. No issues.

We bought this for a user who needs a protective case. It functions well -- takes some getting used to to manage the covered buttons. The screen protector is somewhat off the glass which adds a bit of distortion. Overall the protection works well and I like the blue color.

I use my iPad a lot and carry it with me almost whereever I go since I like to read and have ebooks loaded onto it, so for me it was a no-brainer. I had to have something that would make all those silly drops not ruin my iPad. I am a clutz and I know that inevitably I will drop it, this case allows me to carry my iPad and not worry so much about dropping it. It does however add weight to the unit making it difficult to hold on those days when my arthritis is at it's worst. It has a screen protector which I love but I have a cat and I can't seem to get the darn thing on without a stray hair here or there attaching itself to the plastic. So I'm forever seeing hair when reading. It can be annoying and since it is not easy to put the case on or recommended to remove the case repeatedly, I live with the hair. I would purchase the case again however because what's a little hair when I know I will still be able to use my iPad if I drop it.

This survivor case was better than I thought it would be. It has a great feel to touch comfort and it isn't too bulky or heavy. You do have to touch the screen harder then normal but it's not it's sensitive which I like. This was a birthday present and I like it!

It is a great case ultimate protection for the device. Sometime when charging it pushes the home button down but otherwise but it's a bit bulky.

This is a perfect fit for my iPad & works great against damage when it gets accidentally dropped. I have dropped it a few times & no damage to my iPad since I've had this put on.

Somewhat difficult to get on, but quite protective once on. Would not recommend if you plan on taking it off and on frequently. The first one I had endured 4 years of abuse by my 7 year, then 3 year old. Through countless drops and slimy fingers, it has stood up very well. It’s not water proof, mind you, but helps keep stuff out if cleaned quickly. I replaced it after four years because the base plastic was cracking and I was afraid it may not provide the same protection. The new one is just as protective. I bet it will outlive the iPad!

This case is great. Easy to get your iPad in and out of the case. Protects it from every thing

It's has worked so far. Fits perfect. Difficult to put on and take off. A little pricey.

The big positive this item has over the Otterbox is the ease of taking the product on and off the device. The one disadvantage it has is small items tend to work their way underneath the cover (cat hair...etc) which facilitates you have to take the cover off to remove said item. I have since given this item to a co-worker who likes it a lot.

The Griffin Survivor Case is a good case, with a little needed improvement. It is a rugged case, and like most in this category, a bit on the bulky side. The "feel" while utilizing the iPad is nice... comfortable for a guy with big hands. Access to the iPad "buttons" (power, volume, home) is nice and the case does not interfere with functionality. I am not a big fan of the charging port cover. It's ok... but I don't like it for reasons I can't explain other than a personal preference. A SURE positive is that if you like using earbuds/headphones, you DO NOT need some funky adaptor to carry around to use them like Griffin's well known competitor. I probably should've rated this case a 5 for that reason alone.

Very good product if your looking for a strong way to protect an expensive investment and extend the lifespan of the ipad. It is easy to assemble and provides good strong cover that enables the ipad to be taken almost anywhere with minimal risk to damaging the product. Very good investmetn from a company that makes some of the best protective cases for the iphone.

Overall, it is a great product. Easy to install and easy to manage. A bit heavy and the plastic screen cover will give you some glare, but really nothing if you want protection for your iPad.

I was looking for a case that could withstand the numerous drops from an active 2 year old. After reading about several cases and asking friends in the same situation I finally decided to spend the money. VERY well worth it

Great from famage protection especially accidental drop etc. Especially if kids will be using the Ipad like in my case. But a little heavy. screen cover feels poor quality. But overall good product and serves its purpose!

Purchased my first iPad and decided on the Survivor Case initially due to the on-sale price. Ran into a little difficulty installing it but after few minutes, I had it installed. It's a snug fit around the iPad and has a comfortable feel when holding it. iPad buttons are easily accessible and the rear camera is easily accessible and easily concealed when not in use. One issue I've encountered so far is a little bit of distortion that can be seen and looks like something may be on the inside of the screen protector but expect that anything with a protective type screen will also have this issue.
