I purchased this toaster primarily for the slightly longer cord than it offered, as most toasters now have the cord coming from the front instead of the back, making it very difficult to use on a counter if you don’t have an outlet directly behind it. The longer cord on this model enables us to pull the toaster out from underneath the cabinet in order to prevent fires. That being said, this toaster not only looks Phenomenal with its retro styling, but it makes the best and most evenly toasted toast and English muffins I have ever had in my life. I have typically purchased $40 toasters in the past, and those cannot hold a candle to how well and how quickly this toaster does its job. The settings are easy to see, and the functions, accompanied by the blue on light, are very intuitive for the user. I highly recommend this toaster and this brand, which is an England-based company.

I got my daughter this toaster for her apartment because of the color, it is as bright red as it looks on the image. This appliance is very attractive

The fact that this is a toaster should indicate that toasting is it's main function. However, the top half of the bread is 2-3 times darker than the bottom half. Looking into the toaster, several of the filaments are not working. It is extremely light weight. When both of the handles were depressed at the same time, it nearly fell forward off of the counter. It is being returned.
