Delivers impressive 4K HDR picture
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After watching the TV for a few days, I'm totally impressed by the quality of the 4K HDR picture! It's definitely bright enough after turning off the auto light sensor. The 100 inches is definitely impressive! I have the Optoma UHD38 4K projector on a 150-inch projector screen, and it's not a competition with this TV in terms of picture quality. I also have the 77-inch OLED C1, and I know the Hisense is not going to beat that picture, but if I had to choose between my 77-inch OLED or the 100-inch Hisense, I would probably pick the Hisense since the picture is good enough. The only downside about the Hisense is that the upscaling isn't great when watching lower quality video, but it's not a big deal for me since I mostly stick to 4K HDR content from streaming services. Overall, it's definitely a deal for 2K!

Hisense 100U76N
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the 100U76N for a little over a week and the picture is great. However, processing could be better and I wish it was a little brighter. The black levels are decent for an LCD TV. There is little to no blooming. Watching the Superbowl on a 100" screen is amazing, especially for under $2000. The viewing angles aren't great. The picture tends to look washed out if youre to the far left or right of the screen. You have to be dead center to get the full color. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I wouldn't think twice about getting a projector over this TV, it just cannot compete with a TV.

Beat my expectations…
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I changed the image from the default setting to Normal and the picture brightened up a lot. I’m very satisfied with the quality and size in particular due to the low price. I wasn’t expecting much, but so far I’m very happy. I’m coming from a 4 year old Sony x900F and the image is comparable. The Sony has major issues displaying Dolby Vision and HDR, but it looks decent on the Hisense. That’s one thing it absolutely does better than the Sony. I’m hoping for the same long term reliability that I’ve had from all my Sonys I’ve owned over the years. If so, I’ll be a happy man. That’s to be determined. But for $2,000 and a 2 year warranty from Hisense, I think it’s worth a shot.

Super Big TV, 4k is Amazing
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an amazing 100" Hisense TV for only $2k. It is huge and immersive. See pics attached. The first pic of the mountain is in 4k from Youtube. Wanted to check out how a football game might be viewed, so I replayed the Chiefs-Buffalo game on Youtube in 1080p. Very good overall. LED backlit was added while Best Buys guys did install; great pair of guys to help bring this TV to life. For the settings, I did a custom setting, played around with it for 10 minutes, and it fits perfectly for my environment. Amazing!

What a great tv at even better price
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is a killer. Let me warn you to not try to install this yourself unless you have four people. You will need a minimum of three people to mount it while a fourth guides you and puts on the cables. That said, the Geek Squad was amazing at relocating the old mount, hanging the tv and setting its functions up. They also made me aware of the relatively low price of five year warranty at this $1999 purchase price vs full price. And also reminded me the replacement cost would most likely be closer to $5K than $2K. The colors, contrast and blinding brightness on strong white scenes are all incredible. Remember tho, picture quality can't be better than what you feed it or as its known, garbage in, garbage out. The responsible pay streamers like Disney+, Apple+ and Netflix among others look exquisite. Lesser channels such as Frndly TV look awful, a result of their over compression to save money on bandwidth. Also fairly poor quality is my over the air channels being received by an Amazon Recast at 720P and wifi'd to the tv. In fairness, I've found network OTA channels to have among the best quality when received on a tv tuner. I may run a coax to it this summer. 4K UHD blue rays are of course, spectacular. A quality of picture I never would have believed at this price. Absolutely no complaints about the tv, picture quality or Geek Squad performance. There is always one exception to every statement however, and we ran into one problem. The digital optical output has been used to feed the bluetooth transmitter to a pair of hearing aids. Both the tv digital stream was ok, and the hearing aids transmitter was ok, but the transmitter would not work with the tv digital SPIDF optical out. We finally circumvented the problem by taking analog outputs for Zone B from our surround receiver and feeding that to the heating aid box. Problem solved.

Amazing Monster TV & deal by Hisense
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like everybody, I bought this as my BIG SCREEN TV jumped from current Samsung 55 inch to this 100 inch MONSTER and I am excited. I have this setup in my huge living room and enjoying the best. Sound effects from TV are good enough and Picture quality is good. I cant be more happy with this 2024 model Google TV product as I got for $2K deal. Nice to watch 4K(min 2K) but dont expect too good upscaling from 1080p and might be a little slow to react while opening apps. LOVE it overall for now. Lifespan/Reliability and performance over the period of time/Usage is wait and watch ??

Posted .Hi SasiA, thank you for purchasing the Hisense 100U76N and for taking the time to provide us with this feedback. This TV supports 4K upscaling. However, the upscaling procedure doesn't transform a lower resolution into a higher one; it's more of an approximation. Consequently, an image upscaled to fit the pixel count of a TV screen won't resemble an image originally filmed in 4K. If you have further concerns, please contact the Vendor's support team at 1-888-935-8880 or email them at Service@Hisense-usa.com.

The projector replacement
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to replace my benq projector, which was a good projector but a projector cant have 4k and 144hz at the same time, and freeaync. I had a friend help me mount it, dont underestimate it because its large and heavy! We use it in our media room, and sit about 9 ft back. Im using in filmaker mode to keep the brightness down. Its a killer tv, abd a great replacement for a projector and 100" screen, especially at the sale price!

This > TCL 98S550G for same price
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had the TCL 98S550G for a month until this went on sale. Much better than the TCL at the $2k price point. Very good contrast/blacks. Brightness is not an issue. Has much more AI processing features than the TCL. Viewing angle is not that great but sitting straight on, image quality is superb.

Nice Surprise for the Price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The price per inch cannot be beat in early 2024. The picture is much better than I expected. I'm using an old Nvidia Shield and it looks great. Older content may not look perfect if you're too close. The sound on this thing is also great. It's loud enough that I stopped using my sound bar. I still have some tweaking to do on the sound and picture to make it better, but I'm thoroughly surprised by this TV.

Lovin' it !!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome color and contrast. QLED 4K resolutions are tight. The fully array local dimming is so sweet. Black is just dead black ... just gone, and the contrast range brings out every nuanced shade or color. Has all the latest smart features you'd expect for a 2024 model. Power usage varies greatly depending on scene brightness, but on average this set isn't using nearly as much as the scary number advertised. I'm loving this TV. Crazy good deal at Best Buy just before Super Bowl. Sound is actually better than expected, but most buying something this big will probably already have surround sound speakers. Lovin' it !!

Pleasantly surprised, great tv and value!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from LG C1 83 inch. This tv is an amazing value and phenomenal picture quality. The U76N costing me only $2,100 with tax was a steal. Heck even at the current price it's a great deal if you can buy it. The level of immersiveness is so amazing.

100 Informed Decisions
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This 100 inch is supreme. Owned since 2/1 when best buy delivered. Did not opt for free set up. Handles on the back already installed. Easy to add included feet and then lift onto my existing TV stand. Paired with Samsung q930c wireless surround sound. All of my family and friends have been in awe. Very good for cinema or gaming. I have xbox X, ps5, and switch on this TV. 4k content is amazing. Also the switch looks heavenly and my 1080p blu ray discs. It works very well. Zero glitches with perhaps 6 hrs plus daily use. I enjoy the lighted remote but honestly the TV is so bright. Stunningly so. Absolutely no regrets on this purchase. Please buy with confidence, I am an expert and I say 10/10.

My PS5 just got a new BFF.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After getting this behemoth installed by some rather excellent Geek Squad Techs, it took me about 24 hours to get it configured to my liking. It's even better then I hoped! Playing PS5 games at 120 FPS on a hundred inch screen is a quasi-religious experience. The only thing I can ding this TV on is some mild DSE when it's displaying a black screen. That's to be expected from any QLED. Otherwise it's perfect, and I'm not exaggerating. Best gaming display I've used in 45 years of existence. Thank you Hisense for that amazing launch discount!

Buh-Bye Projector
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV replaces my Epson LS11000 4K laser projector that projected on a 106" screen. Given the extremely good sale price at the time of purchase when it first went for sale and on sale, for a 100" TV with QLED and local dimming, it represents a great value and performance. For a non-mini-LED set, it performs quite well achieving great specular highlights in HDR rated at up to 800 nits. Going from 106" down to 100" was not a big sacrifice while gaining superior contrast and HDR brightness performance. The only real downside not related to the TV itself was the cumbersome appointment for delivery and installation. The communication between Best Buy Geek Squad and the 3rd party installer was subpar, which resulted in 4 reschedules. When it finally did arrive, the delivery and installation, which included wall mounting of the massive TV, was great. The verdict still remains on the longer term reliability of the TV. However, it includes a 2 yr. mfr. warranty. If it ever needs service, I'm sure it will be a pain given the sheer size of the TV, but that's just the nature of the beast (pun intended). I've been using the TV for about a month now, using 4K BD and built-in streaming apps from its Google TV OS. Overall great purchase so far. I would recommend it to anyone shopping for a large format TV willing to wait for it to go on sale again.

Great TV, great store, great service
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good! I really like this TV. It is huge! The picture quality is also very good. I am pleased with the contrast and brightness, although I have not quite dialed in the settings yet. But I am really happy. They included a filmmaker picture mode. I had the TCL 98s550 before this. I returned the TCL to get the Hisense. The picture quality on the 100u76 is clearly better than the 98s550. The TCL is quite a bit thinner, though.

100” Hisense
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great tv. At 100” it replaced an Epson home cinema projector at about 130”. Definitely worth the upgrade. Purchased when on sale for $2,000 with the free install and delivery. Purchased the 5yr warranty as well. Great looking picture and sound if not using speakers . Best Buy had 3 geek squad members install in no time in upstairs movie room.Great Buy.

Great picture. Show stopper size.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really big and bright. Had a 75' Sony. The HDR could never get bright enough. Not the case with this big boy. As bright as you need. 4K colors pop. Sports are awesome. With youtube tv quadbox, you can watch all 4 games comfortably. Get the popcorn poppin' because you are at the movies at home. Dolby Vision included for $1800. Just pull the trigger. No regrets.
