Thought this was an excellent deal. Nice tv, poor design. I guess they must assume you’ll hang it because the feet barely hold it up! It has tipped over many times, today the screen cracked! Less then a year and trash due to very poor design. Unless you plan on hanging, look at a different product!

I decided to get this model after looking for a small TV to put in my bedroom (I have a 55" 4K in the living room). I don't watch a lot of stuff in my room but I wanted something to have for when I'm in bed or playing a game on my PC. I went with this TV because I wanted something smart and able to cast from my phone, and Android TVs are the only TVs at this price point that would have a Chromecast built in.
The interface works for the most part, though occasionally it'll lag heavily. A few things that can cause it to lag like crazy is using Google Assistant (if you have an Android phone or a Google Home speaker, it can control the TV with all the same features). Another thing that can make it lag is just pushing the buttons too fast. Still, for under $150, its something you expect.
Speaking of Android TV, I'd much rather use this than a Roku or Fire TV. Partly because I use Google Home speakers, so some of the commands are super easy. I can just say "Hey Google, watch <whatever>" and it'll automatically turn on the TV and start playing. The UI is also really clean and in my opinion, really easy to use.
The panel is meh. It's 720p so a lot of things will look pixelated, especially up close, but if you're looking for a TV in this price range then you already know what the quality is like and you're not concerned. I will say, for $150, the TV does get a lot darker than I anticipated. Contrast is still poor, but better than I expected.
Sound is okay. The speakers are bottom-firing. They're definitely tinny, but the TV does support connecting to Bluetooth speakers, and the delay is almost non-existent from what I can tell.
Overall, pretty happy I got this TV. This is a perfect small secondary TV (for like a bedroom or guest room or office), but not for anything beyond that.

Good tv but needs better quality sound.
Little disappointed in the sound (volume goes plenty, just sounds like small speakers).
Just a buy a tv sound bar and that should fix the issue.
Picture is very good. No issues at all.
TV is very light guessing less than 7 pounds
( read it once but have forgotten what it said ).
Makes it ideal for a RV, camper or trailer.
I use it as a second tv in second bedroom.
Has all the apps that I use like YouTube music plus a lot of others I’m just getting to know. Actually pretty cool with tons of apps and super easy down load to add even more.
It’s a smart tv for 150.00 ball park so really no complaints.
Good luck plenty out there to choose from but it appeared not all had you tube in their apps and some had that Roku which I did not understand other than you might have to pay for a subscription? But my knowledge on this is extremely small.
Long story short good tv fair sound.

After quite a bit of research, I settled on the 55 inch Hisense H9G. I unboxed it pretty easily. It's a nice looking tv. Played around with settings and I have found that I really really like it. Keep in mind I have only had the TV for a week, so don't take too much stock in what I am saying. I will update if anything changes, but for now, the picture is amazing, especially when you watch quality 4k content it really shines.
I gave this tv 4 stars however, because of two annoying things.
I wish it saved your picture settings. Maybe it does this because I frequently change input. This is a family room tv, so everybody uses the TV for something different. But it just results in me going into my settings more often than I would like.
And my other reason is my main annoyance with this tv. After selecting content to watch, there is this weird white pixelation vertical bar that shows up. It will show up about 80٪ of the time. Its so weird. Its the only place I've seen it.

Needed a new t.v. for our son something not to big and not to small. Also had to be a smart t.v. kids with their youtubes and netflix.
This t.v. fits the bill and you could not beat the price. Nice sound, crisp visual. easy set-up out of box. Great for video games and bluetooth devices. Overall a great t.v.

WOW! I bought this for my 93 old Father I wanted him to be able to enjoy Netflix, and other streaming apps. I needed a smart TV that is quite simple to use when it comes to switching between Cable TV and streaming apps. This TV does that. Out of the box, setup was fast and easy. In about 15 minutes we were watching shows! The picture is sharp with vivid colors. The OS menu is simple and easy to navigate, although I did not need to change that many settings.
I like how the remote has a TV button as well as the popular streaming apps buttons. You can switch between TV and apps without having to press an input button, then select an input. You have the option to select inputs, but for him the easier the better. The buttons are also good sized and not crammed so close together that you accidently press the wrong button if you have large hands and fingers.
I highly recommend a Table stand mount or a wall mount, as the feet that come with it are not very stable. ATTENTION! The mounting holes are VESA 200x100. Which is a rectangular pattern vs the typical square pattern. Make sure that your mounting option supports this.
Another huge plus is that all input cables are side mounted. I have two other TV’s with inputs that come directly into the back. That means you must use spacers on the mounting plate to be able to plug the input cables in, as well as not kinking them. I do not understand why some companies place the inputs so close to where the mounting plate is going to go. The power cable is permanently attached to the TV.
Typical flat screen speakers- if you nice sound you should consider a sound bar / system.
Another feature that I wanted on this TV is the Google assistant, with the voice assistant built in. My Dad has Google products instead of Alexa. I have not setup those features yet

A Small Window to a Slightly Smarter World

Behold, the Hisense 32" Class H55 Series LED HD Smart Android TV, where "HD" stands for 'Hugely Decent' and 'Smart' is a term used as liberally as cheese on a fast-food pizza.
First off, the size. 32 inches - the perfect size if you've ever thought, "I like watching TV, but I don't want it to be too immersive. I prefer squinting." It's great for small rooms or as a fancy digital photo frame that sometimes plays Netflix.
Speaking of smart, this TV is about as smart as that one friend who claims they're a 'whiz' with technology but still struggles with the concept of double-clicking. The Android interface is a joy, in the same way, that finding a parking spot at the mall on a Saturday is a joy. You'll get there eventually, but not without questioning some of your life choices.
The picture quality is a delightful throwback to simpler times. It's HD, but not in the way that you'll be worrying about the pores on actors' faces. More like, "Oh, I can tell that's a person and not a potato" kind of HD. It's comforting, really, like a warm, fuzzy blanket of pixels.
Now, let's talk about the LED display. It shines bright enough to gently remind you that you're watching TV, but not so bright that it feels like you're staring into the sun. It's the visual equivalent of a lukewarm cup of tea – not what you hoped for, but it'll do.
Connectivity? It's got more ports than a small European country. Whether you'll use them all is another story, but hey, options!
In summary, the Hisense 32" H55 Series is the TV for you if you're seeking a modest window to the world of modern television without the overwhelming burden of being too cutting-edge. It's like a trusty old dog that doesn't learn new tricks – because it doesn't need to. It's fine, really. Just fine.

I have never purchased an Android TV before and I have to say I am impressed so far. The picture quality is excellent. Ease of use is really good also, I thought I might have some issues but, everything is really easy to do and understand. It walks you right through set-up instructions. I bought this for school to use for on-line classes. You can hook it up to your computer for video, that is also easy to do. Over all I really like this TV, I bought this on sale so the price was great and it was the right size so it has worked out well for me.

This is a great TV! It is my second HiSense. The sound is great. The picture is great. For a few years, all of my TVs were Vizio brand, and I liked them a lot. However, I like the HiSense TVs anymore. There seems to be more depth to the color and even the blacks are on a scale that shows things I’ve never seen before. This TV is affordable at its regular price, but if you catch it on sale its a steal!

I really like the T.V., however there is a problem with the volume. I have the T.V. In my shop where there is not cable hookup, so I have a simple antenna. I do have wifi available, so Netflix and other online options are available. The volume is fine whenever I am on Netflix or Utube, however when watching T.V. with the antenna, I have to turn the volume completely up. I’m not sure if it is the T.V. or another problem. Good picture and no other problems other than the volume.
