The speakers are about what you imagine, not great but serviceable. What’s really awful is the smart tv interface. It’s just plain bad. It requires an update from a usb jumpdrive. Even at that it didn’t help. If you get this tv buy a fire stick or Roku and set the tv to boot to that input so you don’t have to interact with its onboard interface. That said for the price and size it’s a good value if your expectations are appropriate.

However, you can't add apps, you're stuck with the few that come preprogrammed on the unit. You still have to use a ROKU or firestick if you want other apps. Speaking of apps, even the ones preloaded don't automatically load and let you sign in for content. You have to search the web for some ridiculous workaround in order for them to work properly. I would NOT recommend this TV or any unit with the XUMO platform.

In the home screen the app row will have a standard app row, but you can view all apps and rearrange your app row with apps you use more frequently.
