The Hisense PX3-PRO TriChroma Laser Projector has completely transformed our family’s entertainment! Setup was quick and easy, and the picture quality is out of this world—vivid colors, razor-sharp details, and incredible brightness, even in daylight. It’s like having a movie theater at home. The Dolby Atmos sound is a real game-changer for me—it feels so immersive and is a huge upgrade from what I had before. The kids are obsessed, and now I’m constantly fighting them for TV time! I’m also beyond excited to try out the IMAX feature—it’s going to take movie nights to the next level. If you’re looking for a high-quality home theater experience that the whole family will love, the PX3-PRO is the way to go. Hisense really delivered with this one!

This projector is incredible - I never thought it was possible for a projector to create such a crisp picture. Technology has come a long way. Sitting only a foot away from the wall, the picture is huge, very clear, and the definition is excellent. With the laser projection, blacks are lack, brights are very bright, and colors are vibrant. Clear picture, you can see each individual 4K pixel, even in the corners. Truly 80-150 inch size, can cover entire walls floor to ceiling (which you can change by getting closer/further). The size blows away regular sized televisions, feels like a movie theater. It was easy to set up, you can automatically or manually adjust keystone. I don't have a projector screen yet, but after testing it out for a couple days, I think I might not need one - even though my walls are off-white and textured. It’s very bright with a dark room, looks like my OLED television. It still does pretty well with a bit of ambient lamp light in the room since it is so bright. You will lose a lot of contrast with windows in daylight. Speakers are decent, but you’d probably want a speaker system for the full experience.

Best image. AWOL can be brighter but image suffers

I purchased an AWOL 3500 PRO and had terrible results. I’ll do a review for that elsewhere. This projector is about 10 percent less bright than the AWOL but is significantly better in the contrast and dark ranges. This translates to better viewing at night with lights on or off and better viewing in moderate light from windows. The awol gets into its own way by reducing darks scenes contrast in favor of being the “brightest” “TV Replacement” If I could have the AWOL given to me and I had to hit this full price I’d still buy this because it’s that much more capable. In daylight with curtains open to the side of the projector on the AWOL ALR floor rising screen this thing is a tv replacement any time of day. At night it’s a no brainer with how well it gets rich color without being over saturated and without having so much vibrancy from the lasers that you get bloom and sacrifice color space and contrast. This unit is easy to set up and has sticky feet for the base so that if you need to plug in an hdmi or usb you can place it exactly back into place and not struggle with aiming it again. Will be looking forward to future version and updates of this unit and as long as the reviews stay positive o doubt I’ll have any reason to attempt AWOL again.

Xbox Game Pass Perfect Gaming Night with PX3-PRO

The most exciting experience of all – PX3-PRO with Xbox Game Pass. It caught my eye when I saw PX3-PRO has the “Designed for Xbox Limited Series” certificate. With the features of Dolby Vision and IMAX enhanced, I truly immerse myself in the game. Just an easy plug with the Xbox machine, I can start planning with friends on gaming entertainments on the weekend. There’s no concern about the lagging problems with the PX3-PRO, it is a smooth and great experience, especially for the action and adventure games. A shout-out to the Star Wars gamer just like me.

So I really don’t enjoy going to movie theaters anymore. I’ve found myself always buying the next biggest TV in hopes of finding that theater experience. Well Hisense you did it and all I can say is wow. The crazy thing is my screen hadn’t come in yet and I wanted to see what it looked like on just a painted wall. That alone is hands down better than my first, internal console, projection tv. I can’t wait for the screen to come in because I can’t wait to see my home theater set up. All I need now is a reclining loveseat and a popcorn machine. I also have to say I was amazed with the sound quality. Its hands down better than any of my high end flatscreens, but I’ll be adding surround. We had friends and family over for the weekend and they loved it. I’m adding a few pics and before you say anything about my age, I like my Wii. One of the things that sold me on the Hisense is how the projector sits against the wall because you don’t have to worry about the picture being obscured from the beam being broken.

I bought this Laser Projector for watching sports and movies and for gaming in my man cave. All I can say is WOW! I am projecting onto a portable screen until my fixed screen arrives and the picture is flawless. The picture is crisp and clear, the color pops, and the brightness is much higher than I expected. Set up is super easy with the auto Keystone correction. You can also use manual Keystone if you prefer. I was up and running in less than 30 minutes. I had it set up just in time for the Tyson/Paul fight and I was blown away! I also watched NCAA football during the day with ambient light with no issues whatsoever. Streaming movies and TV shows in Dolby Vision is a true cinematic experience. I have begun rewatching Ted Lasso and the picture quality is amazing. This projector has much better picture quality than the 65” Samsung LED in my family room. My wife and I are watching a new movie every night now. We feel like we have a movie theater in our home. I can’t wait for my son to bring his Xbox home. With the “Designed for Xbox” certification, I expect a gaming experience like never before. I recommend this laser projector to anyone. You won’t be disappointed!

We are using this projector from 45 days, the UI is responsive and seamless, with the Google tv interface it replaces TV very easily. There no need to install , its literally plug and play. The quality of projection is phenomenal even on standard wall without ALR Screen. Brightness is also good, you can watch content in even noon. We installed it in bedroom and now we are spending more time in bedroom which is really good :D

Wow. Laser TV has come a long way. I heard this PX3 pro was the one to get and I'm glad I did. Set it up right away and so impressive picture quality that on the wall was a great a regular screen. We even broke out old DVDs and it still showed awesome quality. My older girls reminisced while they watched old movies. I could probably write another review on the sound quality or as my daughter said "Movie Theater Sound". And it's designed for XBox so my nephew will be over at some point for some games.

    The UST Projector King

For about a week now, I've been enjoying the incredible home cinema experience that the Hisense PX3-Pro produces. It has officially replaced my main living room TV which was a 75" Mini-LED UHD QLED with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The brightness of my previous TV was an important spec for me for daytime viewing. Since I have five large windows in my living room, light always seems to seep through during the day (even when the blinds are closed). For a UST, I was pleasantly surprised with the PX3-Pro's 3,000 ANSI lumens. This projector produces a very bright picture that is more than suitable for daytime viewing; even in a room with some sunlight coming in. You want to know what's the best part about daytime viewing with a UST projector over an OLED or QLED? No glare!! At the moment, since I just got the projector, I'm projecting the PX3-Pro's image onto my living room wall and the image still looks phenomenal. I do plan on getting a Vantage ALR projector screen to pair with the PX3-Pro. Not only will the ALR screen significantly improve daytime viewing even further, but it also makes a massive difference in the picture quality when compared to just projecting the image onto the wall. I've had ALR screens in the past and I can't stress enough the night and day difference it makes. In any case, with just how good Dolby Vision and HDR10+ content looks on my living room wall, it's a testament to the level of picture quality this UST is capable of producing. The construction and build quality of the Hisense PX3-Pro is a work of art. The projector's enclosure is outfitted with a combination of brushed metals, which feel silky smooth to the touch, along with some very premium plastics. There are brushed aluminum accents everywhere (including the integrated speaker grill) which make it feel like I'm handling an extremely high end component. The projector has 4 adjustable feet on every corner. This allows for any corner to be lowered or lifted in order to get the perfect screen alignment on your projector screen or wall. As you may or may not know, placement is everything with this type of projector. The Hisense PX3-Pro does not allow you to digitally adjust the image size within the settings or with a physical button. Instead, the Hisense PX3-Pro relies on it's physical zoom lens to increase or decrease the image size. This means that you need to physically move the PX3-Pro either closer or further to your screen or wall in order to adjust the size. As an example, for an image size of 120", the throw distance required from my wall to the projector was 1 foot and 10 inches. The bottom part of the projected image started at 17" above the lens of the projector. The height of the projected image itself was another 59". This resulted in a total height requirement of 76 inches on my wall to project a 120" image size. The width of the projected image was 105". These measurements are extremely important when considering furniture and how high off the ground the PX3-Pro will sit. Just bear in mind that if you expect to project an image of 120", a minimum height of 76" is required. You'll want to make sure you have a high enough ceiling to accomodate for the 76" height requirement plus the height of the furniture the PX3-Pro will be sitting on. Since the PX3-Pro can project an image upto 150", the height requirements can get pretty serious. A website called Projector Central has an invaluable tool that I used to help take the guess work out of calculating exactly how much space I needed depending on the size of the image I wanted to project. Simply select the Hisense PX3-Pro as the projector and you can play around with the image sizes you want. Once situated, the Hisense PX3-Pro delivers a stunning picture. This TriChroma Laser projector produces some of the best Dolby Vision and HDR10+ content I've seen. Not only does it deliver incredible contrast, but it also produces exceptional color accuracy. Hisense states that the PX3-Pro reaches 110% of the BT2020 color space and it truly shows when watching HDR content. The color reproduction on this PX3-Pro is as impressive to me as an OLED that I have in one of my other rooms. Although the black levels still don't quite compare to a top of the line OLED, the PX3-Pro still delivers the inkiest and darkest blacks I've ever seen in a UST. In dark scenes, I also haven't noticed any banding or posterization issues. The shadow details in dark scenes are also fantastic. Strands of dark hair are easily discernable and the layers and texturing of the hair look refined and realistic. One of my favorite features that Hisense has included is "Dark Detail" which enhances these dark scenes to an even greater effect. I also love that this projector is IMAX enhanced capable. With Disney plus offering several IMAX enhanced content nowadays, I was ecstatic when I found out the PX3-Pro supported it. Gaming on the PX3-Pro on my PS5 and PC was also flawless. Playing action adventure or RPG titles like Elden Ring, FF7 Rebirth, or Alan Wake 2 on a 120" 4K cinematic screen is something that needs to be experienced. It should be noted that the PX3-Pro can support a refresh rate of upto 60Hz at a 4K resolution. Hisense has a built-in feature called "Auto Low Latency Mode (AALM)" that automatically switches the projector to a low latency game mode whenever a gaming console is detected. Even during intense high action moments, I never experienced any type of input lag or latency. While I highly recommend pairing the PX3-Pro with a dedicated home theater audio solution, the 50-watt integrated Harmon Kardon speaker is surpsingly good! For the sake of testing it's audio performance, I only used the integrated speaker to play back all of my Dolby Atmos content along with music. Dialogue was crystal clear and explosions sounded full with an acceptable level of rumble. However, I must note that the low frequency does suffer a bit. You wont get the same level of bass that a high end soundbar would provide and you certainly won't get the same level of bass that a dedicated subwoofer would afford you. Also, because the integrated Harmon Kardon speaker can get quite loud at max volume, there were a few times where the low frequency caused some distortion during high action scenes. This is seemingly caused by the smaller form factor driver not being able to handle the low frequency at such intense volumes. For all intents and purposes, the integrated speaker is more of a decent temporary solution while you plan and procure a proper home theater audio solution. There's a lot to love with the Hisense PX3-Pro and very little not to love. One of the only caveats that I feel is very important to bring up, and one that everybody considering purchasing a DLP UST projector (like this PX3-Pro) should be aware of, is the potential of being sensitive to a phenomenon called the "rainbow effect". While I'm not new to UST projectors, the PX3-Pro was my first DLP based UST projector. Since DLP based projectors sequentially display their blue, red, and green colors against a spinning color wheel, we can sometimes see flashes of color when looking at fast moving objects or during light background scenes. I noticed that I am slightly sensitive to this phenomenon. I barely notice it but once in a blue moon, especially during light background scenes or when there's white text, if I quickly dart my eyes around the screen, I'll sometimes see a very quick flash of red, green, and blue. It will usually only happen once or twice during an entire movie so it's really not a big deal for me. However, upon researching this, it appears as though some are more sensitive than others and may find this distracting. I think for most it won't be an issue at all but I would recommend visiting your local best buy to see if they have a PX3-Pro on display that you may be able to experience for yourself. Aside from this minor caveat, I don't have anything else negative to say. Oh, did I mention how quiet the operation of this unit is? Even when turning the brightness all the way up, this thing is super silent! At the time of writing this review, I would be hard pressed to find another UST currently on the market that will rival the performance of the Hisense PX3-Pro. This is, hands down, the best picture quality I've seen from a UST projector. While the brightness may still not quite beat out my Mini-LED and OLED at home, the color accuracy and range is equally as impressive. The contrast is also the best I've seen on a UST. If you're in the market for a UST that will allow you to re-create an exceptional cinematic experience at home, with the support for all of the latest content formats, the Hisense PX3-Pro has my unequivocal vote.

A Beautiful Projector For A Great Price

I’ve never owned a high-end projector before, so this is my first time using something like this. I do have a portable projector, but the Hisense - PX3 Pro is on a different level, and I’ll explain why. I’ll be outlining my experience with it in this following pros and cons list and my overall thoughts at the end of this review. Pros: Ultra Short Throw: If you’re not familiar with UST projectors, they are designed to sit up near the surface you are projecting and save you a bunch of room. This is because they don’t have to be at a distance to get you a big and clear picture. Incredible Picture Quality: The PX3-PRO's triple laser delivers an incredible picture at 4K and upscales lower resolution content really well. The color, contrast, and brightness of this projector is like nothing I’ve ever experienced in a projector before. Impressive Brightness: This thing is so bright that it’ll look like you have a light show going when you’re watching something. Now of course this is adjustable, but at max brightness, you can definitely watch this during the day in a lit room. Gaming Chops: This thing is designed with Xbox in mind, but of course it’ll work with almost any modern console. You’ll get 4k, 120hz support for your console. Google TV: The built-in Google TV platform makes it so that you can just hook up this projector and be good to go. It has an ethernet port and built in WiFi as well. This is ready to go, out of the box, for streaming from all the popular services out there. 3D Ready: I couldn’t test the 3D functionality of this unit, but it does support some 3D functions for Blu-rays, etc. Connectivity: 3 HDMI ports, with 2 of them being ultra-high speed and one for eARC, is a lot of connectivity and welcomed in a projector. Integrated Soundbar: This thing has an awesome Harman Kardon soundbar right in the unit. Yes, I know it sounds crazy, but it’s more than enough for casual viewing and can fill up a small room pretty well. For an enhanced audio experience, I would recommend a standalone system, though, as this won’t cut it for audiophiles or people with bigger rooms. Cons: Calibration: Out of the box, the PX3 crushes blacks a little, so you’ll want to play with the settings until you get a good picture for whatever you’re projecting onto. Google TV: Google TV isn’t my favorite streaming OS, but it gets the job done. I think it’ll suit most people and is really just a personal dislike for me. Positioning: You’ll have to find a good place for this projector. If you set it up too high, you won’t be able to get the full size of it, but set it too low, and you might be left with a picture that is also too low. You’ll have to experiment with the height of whatever surface you choose to place it on and the distance from the surface you’ll be projecting onto quite a bit to find the sweet spot for your viewing. Remote Control: The remote is very cheap feeling for a unit priced this high, and it would be great to have a remote with more capabilities and maybe a pointer as well. Overall Verdict: The Hisense - PX3-PRO Triple Laser UST Projector is an incredible projector for the price. You’ll get an amazing 4K picture, with support for 120hz gaming and a capable built-in soundbar as well. You’ll also get lots of connectivity for external devices and Google TV to get up and running right away with your streaming services. If you’re looking for an UST projector and haven’t looked at the Hisense - PX3-PRO, then you are doing yourself a disservice.

I purchased this projector for its 3D capability. Unfortunately it will not connect to any of my 3D Blu-ray players. When I reached out to their technical support I got no assistance and the representative didn't even know what the product was. Kind of surprised no one has commented on this issue.

Hisense has been a brand that has gained a lot of traction in my household over the last few years. Samsung, Sony, and LG have dominated the TV landscape and been the brands I usually turn towards when looking for a new tv. But recently I got a 75-inch U8K by Hisense that I was blown away by. Colors were vibrant, picture crisp and clear, gaming features were incredible, and I’ve had zero issues with it overall. That’s why I was very excited to get my hands on the new PX3-PRO Ultra Short Throw Projector from Hisense. I have experience with Ultra Short throws, owning a EPSON LS-800 previously so I was very curious to see the differences between the two! Initial Unboxing of the unit left me impressed. The PX3-Pro looks sleek with a dark gray brushed exterior with a built-in sound bar on the front. Coming in at under 20 pounds its considerably smaller and lighter than the LS-800 by 8 pounds! Initial setup took very little time. This is a Google tv so once logged in it was easy to start setting everything up. The Google UI is very user friendly and easy to use. I was able to get everything up and running right in time for the Superbowl this weekend. One thing to note that wasn’t available on my Epson projector is the inclusion of Netflix! Doesn’t seem like a big deal, but because the Epson projector was an Android based system it didn’t have Netflix as an available app! The projector also features Alexa and Google Assistant features along with Apple Airplay capabilities. There are 3 HDMI inputs, 2 HDMi 2.1 and 1 HDMI 2.0 with eARC, 2 USB ports 3.0 and 2.0, a Cat 6E and a Digital Audio Out so it covers all the bases for any inputs you need. It’s worth noting that the Setup of the picture was the only real area where I had a hiccup compared to the Epson LS800. I admittedly am just displaying the picture on my wall currently without an ALR screen which I know is a hinderance with an Ultra Short Throw Projector, but I am in the process of waiting on one to be delivered as we speak. With that said there must be a slight bow in my wall as no matter what I did I could not get the PX3-Pro to deliver a square picture on the top portion of the screen. With the PX3 there is a Keystone correction option where you can take a picture of the screen with your phone using WIFI and it will adjust, but after about 15-20 attempts with no success I gave up. There’s a manual option with the PX3 but there are only 8 points that you can adjust the screen. In comparison the LS800 by Epson has like over 100 points so it allowed the screen to be manipulated and corrected to make a square picture. Also, the Epson has an option to pick the color of paint on the wall to adjust the picture accordingly, Hisense’s does not. So, it’s worth mentioning if you are not planning on getting a screen of any kind and displaying on drywall the PX3 is more susceptible to imperfections. With that said, the picture quality is where the PX3-PRO really shines through. Once setup the 150-inch screen on the wall is just massive and dually impressive at the same time. This UST supports everything, Dolby Vision/Atmos, HRD10+, IMAX Enhanced, and 3D with 2 HDMI 2.1 inputs. Out the box the colors are fantastic, and the projector has plenty of different options and modes to be able to tweak everything exactly the way you want it. Streaming from Disney+ the movies in Dolby Vision looked spectacular, we watched Wall-E last night and I was blown away by the rich colors and deep blacks but also the speaker. I have to say I am blown away by the Harmon Kardon speaker using Dolby Atmos that’s built into the projector. The speaker packs a ton of power as just turning it up to 20 out of 100 was sufficient for any movie. But the sweeping sounds and overall feel of the speaker left me wondering if I needed anymore speakers in the room, it’s THAT good! With the overall size of the picture being so large I expected some degradation in quality, but I experienced none of that, especially when playing on my Xbox! This is the first UST designed specifically for Xbox and it shows! The HSR 240 refresh rate and reduced input lag is noticeably better on faster paced games like Call of Duty and Apex Legends than the Epson LS800! It unlocks every setting in my Xbox and runs it like a champ. The inner child in me comes alive playing an xbox game on a 150 inch screen, it’s incredible. 16-year-old me playing original XBOX on my crt tv would have never dreamed of a setup like this. If you’re a big movie person or video games person I can’t stress enough how fun it is to have a device like this in your home. The one thing that makes this device special is its portable. If you get an ALR screen that pops out of a base you can easily put the PX3 outside for a move night in the backyard! I for one am looking forward to doing so when the weather warms up a bit! Overall, I am very impressed with the Hisense PX3-PRO. It has a crystal clear 150 inch picture with beautiful colors and depth and features designed specifically for an Xbox! The Google TV UI is user friendly and has all your favorite apps streaming on WIFI 6e! The amount of features, settings and adjustments allows you to really dial in the colors for any type of content and make it the perfect solution for anyone looking for a UST with all the bells and whistles! I wholeheartedly recommend the PX3-PRO!

Overall quality is really great, but does require manual fine tuning for better color and brightness- not as complex as some make it sound- but does take some time and some google research but doable. I am using the Awol Vision ALR Daylight screen. Video is a 4/5 even with adjusting settings the brightness and color depth is still little off on movies. The colors are too bright or full sometimes ( on Manual tuning on setting Filmaker mode warm 1 settings). The sound is excellent in my opinion, good clarity but did not really use itnother than initial phase of setting up- have KEF speakers with Denom Amp. Gaming mode I use my XBox X and games like Throne and Liberty runs smoothly on 4K even though 1080P would have better refresh rates. Overall movies 4/5, gaming 4/5. Maybe a profesional could help fix the mismatch of color and brightness. Another reason for 4/5 for video is that the black levels could be better. Thus overall is amazing at the pricepoint and great option for gaming and movies. I tried the AWOL 3000 Pro and Epson LS800, Awol was not that great with daylight- dark room was better performance. Epson LS800 was fantastic but I personally thought gaming was better on Hisense PX3 but refresh rates are supposed to be better on LS800. Hisense supports 3D which Epson doesn’t. Good luck. Hope you folks enjoy whichever projector you decide on.

The Hisense PX3 Pro is an impressive ultra-short throw projector with amazing customizability and sharp 4k UHD image quality. It’s relatively easy to set up compared to other projectors, has a ton of customization options for the picture and sound, comes with Google TV, and has a remote finder incase u forgot your remote. One of the best things about this projector is how easy it is to move around. It’s smaller and lighter than a TV, and unlike some bulky projectors, you won’t have trouble finding space for it. It’s portable enough to easily carry from room to room with one person, and this thing can display huge images, more than 150", coming close to maybe 200? And because you have the ability to tweak everything from brightness to vibrance and color space, you can get the picture right for every room, and it even has color grading. For the features, it has a built in eq, adjustable feet, and a multifunctional power button built into the side of the projector itself. The sound is great for the size, but if you're planning on having a movie night with a bunch of people, you might want to pair it with a soundbar or external speakers. It's fine for casual watching, but it’s not going to blow you away on its own. Overall I think, the Hisense PX3 Pro is a great pick for anyone looking for an easy-to-use projector that delivers big-screen fun without taking up too much space. It’s perfect for home theaters, gaming, or just chilling with movies. While the built-in sound could be better, the picture quality features like Google TV and remote finder definitely make it worth considering.

After doing a lot of research online, I decided to buy this projector, and it has exceeded my expectations. I project the image onto a 120" ALR screen, and the picture quality is incredible—bright, sharp, and vivid. It’s even better than what I’ve seen on my OLED TV. I connected the projector to my audio system via HDMI to enjoy Dolby audio, and the sound is amazing. The remote has a backlight, which isn’t too bright but definitely helps when watching movies in the dark. I love that Netflix and YouTube TV are built-in, so I don’t need extra wires or devices for streaming. The AirPlay feature is another great addition, allowing me to share my phone’s screen without any delay. I’ve watched some videos I recorded of my kids playing soccer, and the experience has been fantastic. So far, I’m very happy with the PX3. It has brought a lot of fun to our family, more than we expected!

First time using a UST projector and I am very pleasantly surprised and impressed. Even though I am using it with AV receiver and speaker setup, the sound of the projector is also very good. The picture quality OOTB is very good. No calibrations required. I am using the Theater mode and colors are very likable. Very easy to setup and Google TV is very responsive. I am enjoying my home theater

The projector has excellent picture quality and brightness in my theater room. My gaming experience has been great so far. The initial setup was not bad, except getting the projector to line up correctly on the screen took longer than I expected. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase of my first projector.
