Gets confused, doesn't understand a lot of things.

Works great - Better than I expected actually. Sound quality for this mini speaker is awesome, also giving commands when listening to music (I use Pandora) works great. I setup IFTTT and now I can control all my Belkin power switches, I also fond out I can link the Netflix account and can "Call up" movies on Netflix to play on my Chrome cast. This thing is getting better and better. - Just let's hope they keep the promise with the privacy. BUT in case you want the 100% privacy unplug it from power - DONE!

Games cannot be played. Not known errors always occur.

After 10 months of enjoy it and thinking of buy more for the rest of my house, it start turning off itself for a week, and now is just off, neither unplug or reset or anything worked, so today i said bye bye google and maybe try echo dot.

Set up a bit hard but the kids love the speaker in it

I purchased this for i believe around 30 bucks on sale and that might be to high, I had the original google home and comparing to this one makes the mini look like crap. The mini sound quality is horrible and microphones arent as good, it never hears me.

Google mini is awesome and I enjoy having it around

I already have the bigger Home device, so I just wanted to extend the capabilities of the Google Assistant throughout my home. This Mini does a great job with that, and the sound quality is better than expected. It is not as good as the bigger Home device, but it is certainly better than a smart phone. I can listen to this Mini for hours for casual music or podcasts without irritating my ears! I hung mine in the bathroom, using a universal tool hook from the Dollar Tree (see pic). Works great so far. I notice one reviewer said they used IFTTT to control their Belkin switches. Well, I have one Belkin Wemo switch and it works fine without IFTTT. I enabled and connected the Wemo switch right from within the Google Home app. I've very happy with this Mini.

Honestly from the setup to the usability thus far hasn’t been pleasant. The user experience is frustrating during initial setup trying to configure security for services. If it wasn’t free/bundle I wouldn't purchase separately.

Known Google Glitch for 2 years now will keep this from working with Phillips Hue lights. If you disconnect the Hue lights and try to put to another Google account, it will render them un-connectable in their system. It will even crash the Google Home app every time you reconnect them. (tried on multiple devices) Google couldn't figure it out for an hour with them. Their solution is to use IFTT to make them work. Got an Apple HomePod. It works with Hue lights.

We have 5 other Google Mini's in the house. We got this in December and now it's done. The port for the power connector is faulty. Dead. Unless mfg or Best Buy replaces it, we won't be replacing it. NO BUENO
