No Frills, Basic Printer-Just 1 Minor Complaint

I've got a stand-alone scanner, so I didn't need an All-in-One. For under $30.00, you can't go wrong. My only complaint is that there is no way to check the ink level status. (if there's a way, I can't seem to find it!) I am hoping that I will get some type of notification when the ink levels are getting low; so for now I always make sure I have replacement ink on hand.

Quick installation and reliability make this a no Rainer. Only downside is that the ppm is low, this was known when purchasing.

Has color printing problems

The color printing has problems. Bought one, returned it. Got another one, same problem. According to a tech, it has a reputation for color printing problems. I'm sure it's not all of the printers, but I didn't get one of the lucky ones. Bought an Epson, a little bigger, but we could still pack it and travel with it, which is what we'd hoped with the HP. That being said, every other HP product we've ever had, and still have...excellent.
