Great price for an easy to use printer, although setting it up was a bit challenging. Ended up restoring my Surface 3 to get the driver to download, although maybe there would have been an easier way.?.
Bought this printer specifically for college student life, and it definitely fits the bill: Prints using just one cartridge, so I don't have to replace the color if I'm only doing black. Size is great as it's not big and bulky. Print quality is great. And, of course, wireless printing is a plus.
Overall, a great buy for the price.

Wow!! This printer is great! It's fast and easy to use. I had it set up and ready to use in less time than the last printer I had that was big and bulky. I am thrilled with this one. Takes up way less room . I love the touch screen control also. It is exactly what I wanted because I had little room for a wireless printer in my office at home.

I love this little printer. I purchased it around school time, with an all in one desktop, so I received this super discounted as a special going on.
It’s a great printer. Does everything. Has its own email address that I can send whatever i want printed to it and it’ll print at any time, as long as it’s connected to WiFi.
Great printer.

HP printers in general are simple to use and quickly installed. Set up is quick and painless and the instant ink program makes printing far more affordable and trouble free. $36.00 for 50 pages per month for one year. That's less than one tri color ink cartridge cost plus you bank the unused pages from month to month.
Great printer, Fantastic program...

I am a teacher, and do a lot of printing at home using plain paper, colored ink, and also cardstock. This was a perfect price, and the e-ink is saving me money and time. I don't have to worry about running out of ink at a bad time. Best value for frequent printing on a tight budget.

I bought this as a printer for the computer in my classroom, but it does so much more. As promised by the sales associate, it scans, prints, and copies. Truly All In One! I love the convenience of having a copier in my classroom when I need a few copies quickly--I don't have to leave the room which is a plus. It's easy to use and easy to set up.

After using for a couple of months, I have no complaints. Excellent printing and compact for my small desk space. The HP Instant Ink Service is new to me and seems to be a good thing. Fewer trips to the office supply store. Time will tell if it's more expensive but I like the fact that my paper and ink usage is tracked and reported to me.

The printer was very easy to install, and prints are good. the prints do not come out very quick, but good enough for my needs. I have used the scanner and it was very easy to use as well. once in awhile I have had trouble printing and it says the printer is not connected to the internet, but I mess with it until I finally get it to print....a little annoying
though.

Befrore buying this printer I was using HP envy 5530 e- printer, it got out of service so I bought this one.
Easy to set up, you can send printing service from any device connected through wireless on same network.
Enrolled for hp ink service as well, way cheaper and hassle free.
Would definitely recommend.

Envelopes

After my Canon Pixma drove me to tears attempting to print envelopes, I decided to join the HP printer world.
The HP Instant Ink program appealed to me, especially their cheapest plan, which is only a few dollars monthly. They send you ink with no additional charge whenever the printer tells them you're running low. I calculated I'd spend less on ink doing it through the plan than I do buying new ink myself each time. Also this way, it doesn't matter how much ink I use, as they only care about how many pages you print. The lowest plan allows for 50 pages (a buck more for an additional 15), and any unused pages will rollover to the next month (up to 50 for this plan). During the three month free trial period it allows you 300 pages per month, which is great because I am printing a lot more for Christmas. You can always change which tier you want at any time - such as upgrading to their next plan for a few bucks more and get 100 pages.
Setting up was a breeze; I downloaded their app with my phone and easily had the printer connect to our network. It printed out it's own email, which I can supposedly email from anywhere to have it print something. I had no trouble with my computer connecting to the printer either, and that was without installing the provided software onto it.
The first thing I tested after set up was a photo on regular letter paper which turned out fine.
Then came the envelopes. My envelopes were 5.25 x 7.25" - a size they don't have programmed in the printer. I tried selecting the printer's 5x7 option, but it said it didn't match what was in the tray. I tried 5x8 and that worked, though I had to move things around a bit on my iMac to make it look right.
The printer says you can input 10 envelopes at a time, though I felt it did better with less.
I'm not sure if it's because the size was off, but it consistently bent one corner of the envelopes and left a smudge.
Also, ~7 out of every 10 of the envelopes had the color off. Instead of being grey like it was supposed to, it would come out purple.
I printed over 60, and it got jammed 3 times. Whether that's too much or acceptable will be personal opinion. After my Canon jammed just about every one, I found this workable.
They came out pretty straight, only a few were a little skewed.
It's not very fast, but I didn't need it to be. I'd rather keep change in my pocket.
It's decent; not a perfect printer, but I was happy to finally get the envelopes printed. I will be contacting HP about the color issue though. I mean, come on, you have one job. A printer should print the color it was told.
If you aren't planning on printing envelopes, or only plan on using that feature with a standard size envelope every once in a while, this printer shouldn't give you trouble. If you are planning on printing many envelopes like myself on custom sizes, then you have to weigh the pros and cons I mentioned.
Make of this what you will. Hoping this helps with your decision.

my old printer kept jamming paper, so I wanted an inexpensive, quick replacement. This printer was on sale, inexpensive, so I thought why not. I like HP Products and have never been let down by them yet.
This printer works well, sharp color prints, fast black & white. easy to install, so far no problems.

Throughout my school career I've had so many printers, from HP and other brands, but there is always something wrong with them. This printer is perfect! I can print directly from my phone whiteout having to download my document into an app. It also prints very fast and the slick design is a plus!
