Purchased this HP pinter to replace an Epson that died in two years. The print quality is very good and the photo quality has been great using both Epson and HP photo paper. Easy to setup, think it took longer to get all packing tape off then to actually setup for printing. Went with replacment ink program which is reasonable so I will not run out of ink. So far I have had no issues and have experienced great printing. Would recommend.

I just needed a home printer that was inexpensive but good quality. This printer is both. Easy to set up and configure to print stuff straight from my phone using the app.

Very good quality; printer tray cumbersome!

Printer has document and photo trays. Quality for either is above average. Task-selection screen on front is small and selections slide past view to select task (not favorable). Both paper trays slide out at same time and does not lend to convenient loading. Catchment slide for finished printing must be retracted to access loading tray; automatically reappears with printing (not favorable).

Much smaller than my last all-in-one which is good. Prints well so far. Blue tooth is a great feature. Only grip is when scanning you need to acknowledge on your computer. So, if your printer is in a different room than your computer you need to bring your computer with you or walk back and forth. All in all we are very pleased.

As not being a very electronic person, I took it upon myself to set up my new printer by myself. It included instructions it said! It didn’t include instructions and I pretty much had to guess what I was doing and how to do whatever I needed from the printer. The printer itself is a great quality printer both for photos and regular printed materials. Very happy with the remote wireless opportunities also!

This printer installed easily on my computer. Printing and scanning are easy functions that produce excellent copies. However, I did try to scan on two sides and couldn’t figure out how to do it. Also, had trouble connecting to my phone and iPad so I could print from a remote location. Gave up!!! I have not used the photo option yet.

Good printer for home personal use

For me this has been a good printer for my home office/personal use. It has a lot of usable features and I like the two sided copying feature the most. for not much money it does a good job. I printed a couple of photo's and while I do not expect to use the photo printing very often, the pictures looked very good. The convenience of sending photos to print from my mobil phone worked very well and really wasn't complicated. While not needed, adding the HP app to my phone allowed an additional feature or two for printing options from the phone. I considered some of the other HP printers in the same class or series as this one and I am glad I spent the few extra dollars for the additional features such as the the document feeder. No complaints about printing speed or noise when compared to printers I have had in the past. I like the front loading paper tray. it is rare that I will have a large print job (20 pages or more) but if I did I'm sure it could handle it occasionally. If I printed more on a daily basis I would have looked at printers cable of higher volumes of print work and printing speed which were much more expensive, but for my needs this works very well. Setting up wasn't too bad but I did spend extra time reading about and trying out the features. The LED touch pad screen is easy to figure out when printing directly from the printer or looking up information about the printer. Life expectancy for the ink cartridges are similar to what I had before with an HP printer and this seems to be consistent with printed information from the manufacturer. Happy with my purchase.

This printer is amazing! If you need a printer that doesn’t take up much space but has tons of great features this printer is for you! It can do it all and prints very precise and clear. Great for college students and those that love printing photos too! You won’t go wrong with this printer! Super easy to set up!

I love this printer. The set up was very easy and fast. Came with free ink and a membership you can enroll in so you don’t have to run out and buy some. I love the quality of my printed copies and it even comes with glossy paper samples to print pictures. Best Buy warranty is also a plus. I would’ve definitely recommend this printer.

So far so good. Have only had printer for 1 month but haven't used it extensively. Have printed a few photos with excellent results, B&W prints also great. Set up to laptop and smart phones was simple and painless, all in all very satisfied with purchase. Did not sign up for the ink plan because we seldom use printer, still haven't exhausted ink that came with the printer. Best Buy experience was great.

I held out for a long time to get this printer. I thought it would go on sale, but it NEVER DID. ANYWHERE at any store or online. I DID get a deal on ink and photo paper,, so at least it was somethin! I am REALLY glad I got this printer. I have only had it a couple of weeks. Geek Squad set up the drivers for me,,, I initially had to do a few simple things, and it was easy, even for no tech, me. I tried the photos .. I have to figure it out better, but so cool to print out at home. The pics were fine but the color was a bit dim due to the actual color of the orginal pic. You can print from your PHONE too, I have not tried this yet, baby steps. It does everything I wanted. double sided paper feed on top, scanning is something I dont do too often but really nice to have it now. Options for photo printing from laptop or phone. Its quiet and actually looks nice. Printer Ink is around what I was paying for my old Epson Printer. Not too bad. But if your photo printing, using alot more ink that could be costly. Still its costly at even a Walgreens to get photos. So go for it. I highly suggest Geek Squad to have as I got an HP envy laptop and now printer and they handle ANY issues well.

We needed a new printer ASAP; as I continue my search in the job market. We had some old printers sitting around the house that were just outdated. So we went to BB and purchased a new one. This printer has done everything I needed it to thus far. I would just like to change the function to print “black” only sometimes; and that’s not an option I can find. It has printed 2 sided before without me asking the printer to do that; which was pretty nice. I have not used the fax option (because I’m not sure if I need to have a fax number). The starter printer ink only lasted about a month. I had to run back to BB to buy the dual ink cartridges (black & color). The price was OK; I wish BB take ink cartridges back for discount on new cartridges? Overall, the printer works well. I had to get used to touch screen on a printer. I absolutely LOVE the print from your phone option; I use it all the time. I like how you can sync the printer to your cell phone.

Such a good value and it is simple to use with the touch screen panel. Setup was a breeze. I’m happy it has a built in fax machine too. And the photos look great.

As a teacher who is doing more prep from home, I needed a printer quickly, but I was concerned about setting it up as I am not particularly tech savvy. The HP-ENVY Photo 7855 was exactly what I needed. It was incredibly easy to get hooked up to my wifi and laptop. Also, the quality of the printing is excellent. I highly recommend this product.

IF you want an all-in-one printer that is decent and reasonably price, it's hard to beat HP. This is not a high-end printer but it is a solid mid-range versatile printer. The networking leaves much to be desired. I recommend hard wring it to the router and connect your PC and other peripherals to the wireless network. Ink is pretty efficient but if you are planning on doing 100s of color prints, go to Kinkos. You will run through ink quicker that a fat kid goes through cake. Scanner is ok but can get jammed up with larger loads. Send 5-8 sheets through at a time and you should be fine.

This printer works well for my needs. It is a basic unit but all the features I need are there. I like the option of a paper feed and a flat bed. I have not used it for printing photos yet, so can't comment on that yet. The price point was good. The instant ink program is easy to set up, but I'm not sure if it is worth the monthly cost.
