Great printer/ not so good scanner

Then for some reason the scanner app stopped working. I can still print wireless but no scanning is tough since i use it for my business.

I love that my whole family can print from phones and computers over the home network. I would definitely give it 5 stars if I actually got to buy it. When you get the printer you must sign up for a usage plan that includes ink refills. Sounds great at first, the printer monitors how much ink it has and will autoship replacements when getting low. You have a monthly fee based on what your projected usage will be. Buyer beware: if your autopayment card expires, they will lock the printer from use. I suddenly found I could not print...not because it is out of ink or paper...but because they couldn't charge my monthly fee. To me that is like I am renting my own printer. If I bought the printer, I should be able to print if it has adequate ink and paper.

I'm so sorry that it was hard for you to install and for your difficulty with the fax feature.
The sound is a necessary evil if you do not have a separate phone line for Faxes. When the printer shares your voice line you need to decide how you want the printer to answer Faxes, automatically or manually:
● If you set up the printer to answer calls automatically ("Auto Answer" is turned on), it answers all incoming calls and faxes. The printer cannot distinguish between fax and voice calls. If it is a voice call, you need to answer it before the printer answers.
● If you set up the printer to answer faxes manually, you must be available to respond in person to
incoming fax calls or the printer cannot receive faxes. To set up the printer to answer calls
manually, you must turn off the "Auto Answer" setting.

Scan & Printing seems to have a block

When checking system it says it is off line. Ive replaced Internet, had it checked out by Spectrum, still no scanning and very little wireless printing. Weirdest thing. I purchased second one and it does same thing. Very Frustrating.

I have had to do this twice already.

Insufficient help

The online site given to complete the installation was not available. I also signed up for an ink resupply service, but that also couldn't be completed online as directed.

Please ensure that quiet mode is disabled as enabling quiet mode could slow down printing. Quiet mode is the small "volume" icon that appears when printing. You could also restart the printer to see if the print job gets faster.

Was told I needed to buy another extended warranty on the replacement. $20 down the drain at a store where I have spent thousands of dollars. Poor customer service!

I love how the paper collects inside the printer instead of shooting out the front. No more paper on the floor when the paper tray isn't pulled out. The built in web server allows you to control all the settings without any custom software. I'm not sure the Instant Ink refill service is worth it for a home office user, but might be nice for a small business.
