With $100 off at Best Buy, these were the best deal on a Windows laptop for $6-700 at the time I purchased. All of the laptops in this price range have some huge drawback to make them cheap, but these didn't have an obvious one. After taking it home and at first thinking it was Windows on ARM making it slow and weird, I inspected the SSD. It's actually eMMC memory (like an SD card) on an SSD chip. AKA really, really slow. I tested mine at 1400MB read and 600MB write. That's about like an SD card from 2018. Besides that, there is no catch. I was comparing directly to a MacBook Neo that I have been testing since launch. The Snapdragon drivers have evolved considerably and I was able to load every program and game I tested. The base Snapdragon X is definitely meant for productivity laptops, but it no longer has any trouble starting games and heavy applications. The gaming and encoding performance is now about what you would expect for the power of the chip. I found it very, very similar to the a18 Pro in the MacBook Neo, making it a pretty good ARM to ARM comparison on Windows vs Mac, OS aside. The screen is definitely the best feature of these laptops. The 1200p OLED screen is definitely the bottom end of OLED screens, but that still makes it dramatically better than the standard in sub-$1000 laptops. In my testing it was actually significantly brighter than listed, at about 350 nits. Overall the OmniBook 3 series with Snapdragon X is really competitive, but I wouldn't buy unless you either have a spare ssd that is faster to put in, or are factoring a replacement into the cost. A drive that slow makes the operating system performance, sleep and wake times and even program loading lag noticeably.

The battery life is decent, I do also appreciate the charging block being small. I mainly use this as a school laptop, not any processor heavy work. It has a vey clear oled display which I really like, such I sometimes forget its non-touch screen because of how clear it is. The flex on the keyboard is not as much and it is a relatively light laptop convenient for school and travel.

Nevertheless, taken as a whole, the display screen is excellent, the system responsiveness is highly commendable, the color reproduction is accurate, and this laptop functions exactly as it was described regarding its battery performance. If you are currently in search of a portable computer that fulfills its commitment to providing an exceptional battery life, then this specific model is the appropriate choice for your requirements.

Bought this as a back up to my desktop. I didn’t want to spend too much. Nor did I need every bell and whistle. This was on sale and turning out to be very good. It’s fast, it’s very clear. I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to be purchased. It does the job I need and then some

Needed to upgrade my work laptop and this laptop was the ideal solution. Visually pleasing 2k oled screen maximizes color display for pure vibrancy. Great for video watching and long hours of office work. In addition, specs allow for mid-range computing gaming, an unintended addition that I did not intend for when making this purchase.

I’m very happy with my HP OmniBook 3 so far! It’s quick and responsive, and the battery life has been great. The screen is clear and bright, and I really like the size and overall quality of the laptop. Windows 11 has also been easy to use. My only complaints are that I wish the keyboard was backlit and that it came with a trial of Microsoft Word. I also wish there were more color options to choose from. Overall, I definitely recommend this laptop. I would purchase it again and am actually considering getting one for my teenage daughter!

I’ve been really enjoying my HP OmniBook 3 so far! The battery life is honestly one of my favorite things—it lasts a long time, so I don’t have to constantly worry about charging it throughout the day. It’s also lightweight and easy to carry around, which is perfect for school. The OLED screen is beautiful, everything runs smoothly, and overall it’s been a great laptop for everyday use. Definitely happy with my purchase!

So far this laptop has been an excellent choice. Battery life is great, screen/picture quality is very good, and everything I need to do and program I run is problem free. Others have said speakers are bad but for a laptop I think they're pretty good - although I won't use this to listen to a lot of music. I won't be using it for gaming so I can't say how well it would handle games. Overall, a solid choice for typical usage.

Very nice handy laptop with great price and new AI features. Best Buy has best deals on laptops. Also great discounts and multiple accessories / add ons included. With Microsoft college offer part of it , it was amazing. Color too was unique and the performance is excellent with OLED screen taking it to next level. Highly recommended to others. Everything you would want in a computer and more! Lots of features and apps included with the software installed on the computer. It is made with lighter weight materials than for instance, a Dell computer but for the price in the features that came with it, this computer is a great value!

We bought this for a friend's daughter who was starting college. We set it up in no time, and she was very happy with it. It will help her studies a lot.

The oled panel on this is immaculate, it's very bright especially being in a dark lit room. Plus this laptop can handle some light gaming better than I thought. Overall I am very satisfied with the build quality, life battery almost never dying and the speed on the laptop.

This computer had all the specifications required for our daughter’s college classes. It was a convenient size and was easy to set up. She really liked the starlit blue color. She will be student teaching this year and likes that the computer has the capability to prepare and save lesson plans and student activities.
