Customer Ratings & Reviews

I have only had this laptop for about three weeks but so far I am very pleased with it. I particularly like the screen size and the processing power of this laptop. My only negative would be the weight of the laptop but that certainly not a deal breaker. Overall it is a very good laptop and I would definitely recommend it.

I have been quite pleased with this computer in the 1+ months that I have had it. I use it for financial work, internet research and similar tasks. I do not use it for any gaming, so I cannot comment on how it does for those activities. But, I can say it has worked well for all tasks I have given it. The speed and display meet or exceed my expectations. The one area where I am slightly disappointed is with the battery life. The information that I saw prior to purchase was that the battery life was up to 25 hours. From my experience, I have been getting roughly 10 hours before needing to recharge the battery. This is still quite good in comparison to my previous machine, and I am pleased with it. I should comment that I have not tried to do any tuning (such as adjusting screen brightness, etc.) that might improve the battery life.

The HP OmniBook X is a powerful touch-screen laptop that combines sleek design with robust performance. With its large 17.3-inch 2K display, it's perfect for multitasking, media consumption, and even creative work. The 2K touch-screen display is bright and vibrant, providing excellent color accuracy and sharpness during editing photos, or doing presentations, the quality of the screen enhances my experience. The touch functionality adds a layer of convenience, especially when I am navigating through applications or browsing the web. With the latest Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and 16GB of RAM, this laptop handles my multitasks with ease especially running heavy applications and streaming high-definition content, this OmniBook X laptop delivers smooth performance without lag. And the 1TB SSD offers ample space for storage, ensuring i have plenty of room for my files and others applications.

I could go on for a while about this thing.. The battery life is solid, the multitasking you can do is flawless for what it is, the overall performance and even GAMING performance of it is quite impressive too! It's a beautiful and sleek laptop, and I'd absolutely buy one again. I initially bought a 2025 model Macbook Air but in my opinion this is far more pleasant to use

The reviews I read steered me right. If there is a downside, it would be the weight. However as one who has replaced several laptops, I appreciate that this is a tough computer and not housed in plastic. Plenty of storage space, and FAST. Love the 17.3" screen size and the LONG battery life. Would recommend.

I was looking for a new laptop for my doctoral program, and I ran across this AMAZING LAP TOP! This by far is one of the BEST Laptops I have ever purchased! It does so much, that I am sure I have not figured everything out just yet, but one thing for sure it is so fast when operating it. The speed, and the amount of storage space is everything for me, I love it! Not only is it fast, but it is also beautiful, especially with the large size screen. RUN DON’T WALK, and purchase this beauty! Oh, I forgot to mention that I caught in on sale too, the icing on the cake I saved $500 off the original price!

Wonderful computer! i7, so its fast! Plenty of monory for what i need to do and the storage, i wont be able to fill that in 5 years! Perfect for what i need it to do! Even playing games has been a pleasure!

I like the portability of the device. I am satisfied with the speed and performance of the device. I like the touch screen feature a lot.

This HP Omni Book has a large 17.3" screen, something I really wanted, full HD touch display and nice keyboard. Has great performance & is equipped with the latest processor. Really enjoy working on this new laptop.

I like how this laptop is big enough to see the screen. But light enough to carry around. It works really well and is very quiet. You don't hear the fan running. I recommend this laptop for someone. That's once the bigger screen still

I love this HP laptop the battery power is awesome and the intel core ultra speed is amazing the display is very great i hope this hp laptop lasts me for years.

i am loving this computer! keyboard is fanatastic as the letters are nice and big. absolutely love the numeric key board also. the Best Buy Associate was so nice and patient, showing me computers with the specs that i wanted. this was one actually on sale and am so glad i decided to go a little over my budget. computer is so much fast than my old one ( which i had bought at Best Buy 11 years ago ). it also was an HP. extremely happy with this purchase and the performance, storage, and features of this computer. picture quality is excellent!

I was shopping for gift ideas over the recent holiday's and saw the great deal that was being offered on the HP OmniBook X Computer. I had an older laptop that was sadly dying more and more each day. So, I decided it was time to upgrade and treat myself. It was so easy and fast to get it up and running. I was able to get everything set up myself without even having to call the Geek Squad! It is an amazing laptop and I'm very happy with my gift! The service was exceptional (Mansfield, TX location).

The OmniBook appears to have enough by way of MegaHertz & speed to sufficiently interface with my Comcast modem/router so as to make possible the internet speed I was promised, whereas my last 2 computers did not have that capability (at least not RE: movie streaming sites). The OmniBook is very sleek & has the largest screen of any computer I have had. This is important as it has enabled me to curate my photos in a way where, the larger the screen, the better I can vet them for low or high resolution. It is also very user-friendly to set up & provides you with a more seamless experience with regard to all the different directions you can go with it set up wise & thereafter.

I really like how sleek this laptop is. So far its very efficient and the touchscreen works really well. Ive had no issues with speed doing things like running zoom and other programs at the same time which was important for me. Really enjoying this laptop!

I love this computer. The storage, speed and size is exactly what I need for my home base business.

So far, so good! I've been using it for about 2 weeks. Really easy to set up. Fast boot-up. No issues so far. The only little "nit" I have is that I THOUGHT that this model came w/ a backlit keyboard, but apparently it doesn't (or it doesn't work!). Oh, one other nit: Microsoft OneDrive comes pre-installed & wants to take over my backup s\and save routines, All is good otherwise so far. Great, crisp display, easy to use & port over my settings.

I’ve been really happy with the HP OmniBook X 17-inch so far. The large touchscreen makes a big difference for multitasking and everyday use, and everything feels fast and smooth even with multiple apps open. The keyboard is comfortable, battery life has been solid, and it handles daily work without any issues. It is a bit heavy, but that’s expected for a laptop this size. Overall, it’s a dependable, easy-to-use laptop with a great screen.

Computer is great. Love the large screen and that it is touch screen. Computer is fast. It was easy to set up.

Love this laptop. Vivid picture. Works very well. Happy with speed of this computer. Easy to use this computer.
