Its a nice laptop, however I’m also experiencing issues with updates, theres a constant error preventing one in particular. Its pretty frustrating that this has yet be fixed. I also never use tablet mode - but twice now my screen has flipped upside down and only was fixed by restarting the laptop.

I'm done with Best Buy. This item had to be shipped to me and was promised on one day but didn't arrive until two days later. I needed this for school and, needless to say, I didn't have it when I needed it. On top of that, it arrived damaged. The beautiful screen wasn't so beautiful. One of my options with BB was to return it through their website which could have taken weeks to get a new one. My other option was to drive to their store to get a replacement and then wait yet again for another to be sent to my house. I don't live very close to a BB. I did, however drive there and returned it for a full refund. I actually found a better laptop and another local store less than two minutes from BB. Short story: BB needs to work on better ways to help customers do a return/replacement at the same time over the phone or through their website. Neither was available to me.

I normally don't write these except as an excuse to try and get points or rewards. But this device has frustrated me, excited me, angered me, and I want to be transparent for others. Normally priced MSRP at $1849, I purchased during a sale for $1099. I thought I was getting outstanding value. Ram is soldered, but at 32gb of DDR5, should be as future proof as possible. NVME can be swapped, so the limit of 512gb storage wassn't a deal breaker. To also add, I had to go through two of these. First one, the moment I hit the power button, it said it was diagnosing and repairing. Never a good sign. Eventually booted into windows, and when trying to do the updates, went to a perpetual blue screen. Returned and purchased a new one. This time, same issue occured. I was determined to see if it was merely an issue with preloaded bloatware. I did a fresh windows install, and swapped out the 512gb to a 1tb storage. Since doing this, has operated perfectly. No issues. However, while not the smartest person in the world, I was able to do this. Your average user won't be able to. Immediate Pro's: Screen is gorgeous. Battery life is excellent. Processor and Ram have operated optimally. Only Con I give beyond the initial software issues: This keyboard is awful. I mean awful. I could write 5000 characters alone on how awful this keyboard is. And maybe it is because at 6'3, I have large hands, but if you type on a lenovo yoga, and then this, you'll understand. But lenovo didn't have a 32gb ram 2-in-1, so this was the tradeoff. At 1099, if you're willing to learn or already know how to do a clean Windows install, this is incredible value. But good Lord that keyboard is trash.

It's a lot faster than my 18-year-old HP laptop that never broke by the way that's why I got another HP cuz I believe in longevity co-pilot is very useful considering I don't believe in paying 20% of the purchase price for high level support on how to run the new technology. It did freeze out one time already I hope it's not going to be a problem in the future considering I only have one year warranty that comes with it cuz I didn't want to buy the extended warranty at a cost of 30% of the product. We'll see what the future brings.

Bright OLED screen that it amazing to see on those 8k videos, but it's downsize is that it doesn't use HDR and it doesn't support 120Hz refresh rate. Lots of RAM (which Windows consumed 40% before debloating). Though only 512 GB of SSD space, which 1 TB should come standard on these type of laptops. Especially as a 2 in 1 where you might be doing artwork and loads of presentations. You do notice the LEDs on a white screen. The blacks are truly black. It's pretty snappy, but still stuttered every now and them, which could just be Windows 11. The battery life is great on it. If you're a light user it'll last a couple of days, though it's rating for 30,75 hours of straight video playing, I believe. Which is still not bad,

I picked up this HP OmniBook X Flip 2-in-1, and it has easily exceeded my expectations. The build quality in Meteor Silver feels sleek, premium, and rigid, and the 16-inch 2K OLED touchscreen is an absolute showstopper—deep blacks, vibrant colors, and text that is razor-sharp. Whether you're working on complex spreadsheets or kicking back to stream movies in tent mode, the display is gorgeous. Under the hood, the AMD Ryzen AI 9 processor paired with 32GB of RAM makes multitasking effortless. It handles heavy workloads without stuttering, stays remarkably cool and quiet, and the responsiveness is instantaneous. Copilot+ features integrate smoothly, and the battery life easily stretches through a full workday of mixed productivity and browsing. If you are looking for a powerful, premium 2-in-1 laptop with top-tier performance, a phenomenal screen, and future-proof specs, this is definitely worth every penny. Highly recommended!

With how prices for anything with memory is now today, getting this laptop for under $1100 is a steal for what you get. 32GB of ram alone is almost $500 on its own. The Intel version of this might be a little faster but this price can't be beat. Having face unlock on this is sweet, HP's MPP 2.0 pen works like a charm with it, and having the 60Hz OLED 2K instead of the 120Hz OLED 3K will help with battery life and you honestly are not gaming on either the AMD or Intel one. You are stuck with the 32GB of ram but you can change the amount of memory allocated to the iGPU in the AMD Settings. I'm also never going to be able to go back to non 2 in 1 laptops, you can use this thing in so many settings. FYI, if you try to install Linux on this most of the extra HP features will not work at time of writing as there are no Linux drivers available for the speakers or camera.

The Omnibook X is an excellent machine for the price. It’s solidly built, feels sturdy in hand, and remains very portable. The camera, full keyboard, and speakers are all of good quality. The display is bright enough for comfortable outdoor use, and the system’s processor and memory make it fast, responsive, and effortless when connecting to external devices or services. The only issue I encountered was a system hang during a Windows security update, which was fully resolved after updating the BIOS and restoring default settings. Since then, the machine has been stable and reliable. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase. My only complaint is that about a month after buying it, Best Buy dropped the price by $100 — which stings a bit — but doesn’t change the fact that it’s a great device.

The computer is amazing just hate that it’s only have 512gb of storage which is upgradable but in 2026 that’s not a easy fix with ssd prices so high but that’s not the computers fault

This HP is great to have both a laptop and tablet plus the trackpad or touchscreen. Especially for a person that has different sensory styles and wants these multiple options. The HP is used for home item, work, and for volunteer work with a non-profit. Definitely a great purchase.

The display and laptop in general doesn’t feel that much quicker or responsive than my old laptop. The port selection is likely useful but the lack of a fingerprint sensor is inconvenient, as is the weight, and most notably the keyboard. I would not recommend this laptop if you have long nails or if you’re used to keyboards with space between the keys. Also some if not all of the function key choices/placements are questionable.
