Excellent for the price. Runs games surprisingly well.

I was skeptical at first with this laptop. I have always stuck to Desktops, but needed something little on the side. This laptop is great, especially for the price. I wish it had a 4K display, but the 1080P with 144HZ does the job. I have not gamed much on it as I have a desktop for that, but have tested it and it looks great.

My son has started this year at home schooling through the county school system and has no problems signing on every morning and has also been gaming after school to keep up with the for ever progressing online gameplay on super computers and this one is one of those super computer types for sure. We both give a two thumbs up for HP computers!

Because of the Covid situation I was not surprised that many items were out of stock. I was fortunate to find this laptop in store and that it met my requirements. I was in a pinch because my old laptop bit the dust and I had work to do. I am very happy with my purchase.

Great laptop. Very good resolution, no start up issues, wifi connectivity is very good and the light up keyboard with adjustable brightness is a nice touch. Awesome Laptop for the price. We use it for Web surfing and online shopping and it's more than fast enough for us in that aspect.

Great laptop - easy to use and with NVIDIA in the mix it's a great deal. Purchased on a sale but wouldn't hesitate to buy at the full price, if that was my option. Love the light up keyboard, and the speaker sounds pretty good for a laptop. Image quality is great, too. Movies and games both look fantastic.

Very pleased with it so far. The only thing that I am not thrilled with is that the LED keyboard goes out after like 10 seconds. If you are playing in a dark room and aren't constantly pressing keys, it will shut off. Other than that, it is a great laptop and runs all of my games great.

I’m surprised how at how awesome and fast this laptop has been. I play a lot of first person shooter competitively and it runs perfectly for it. The 144hz looks awesome and it performs just as well on an external monitor. I put 16GB RAM and an additional 1Tb ssd. It’s super quick and boots fast. HP also has a great warranty on it for a year.

Purchased to run HP Reverb G2 VR headset. Handles it well, though it's at lower res and required an additional purchase of a USB C to DisplayPort Cable. Games still work great and look phenomenal and have room to grow when I purchase a desktop gaming station with better graphics card.

This is the best gaming laptop you can purchase for $1000 in my opinion. It’s display is bright, the green accents are a nice touch, and it has a really nice feel to it. It also runs really well with the types of games I play, so that’s a big plus. Overall, I am excited with this purchase.

Bought this for a Christmas gift for my 12 year old grandson, he loves it especially the keyboard, he likes the green highlighted letters and how smooth it is running your fingers across the keys, he's definitely happy with this gift and I highly recommend it, I assure you won't be disappointed .

Decent gaming laptop. Monitor is great, but 90% of the time you'll never see 144hz unless you're playing League of Legends or something with low requirements and CPU/GPU combo will run most game on max settings save some MMOs with 50+ people on the same map. Memory is capped at 2933hz in the bios though.

GREAT computer for my needs. I am a full time wedding photographer and content creator and it handles my work load very well. Upgraded the RAM and the SSD to a bigger one but other than that straight out the box it is AMAZING. Just bought a second for my son to game on
