My wife was using an older computer with 4GB ram and slow processor. This item was a great black Friday price. It took a while to get things transferred as there is no easy way to reinstall programs that were downloaded online. We also bought Office because Office 2007 would not work. The transfer of the address list was not hard but each item had to be manually changed because the settings were lost in the transfer. I7processor, 12GB ram and 1b hard drive allow her to have the speed needed for videos and facebook.

Purchased this to replace another HP desktop on Black Friday and very happy with it so far. I like the slimline form factor as it takes up a lot less space than my old desktop. Great processor, good amount of storage and RAM and works well with my 27" ASUS monitor and Epson WF-3520 printer. Easy to set up. As a few others have said, the fan is a little on the noisy side, but otherwise, it's excellent!

Upgraded from very old Dell PC running Windows XP. Easy set up and integrating into WiFi network. This computer is amazing and fast. I’m still learning all the ins and outs of Windows 10 but so far I am very satisfied with this product.

This is a third desktop computer we have in our Construction office. The other two we have are Dell. We have had no issues with them but during the Black Friday sale I was in at Best Buy on Thursday and a salesperson recommended this computer because of price. He asked a series of questions of what we would be doing with it and felt it it was more than adequate for our office. I bought it because of the price but when I received it I was more than surprised of how good this computer really is. Took it out of the box plugged it up easy setup . I am very satisfied with it. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

I bought this as a black friday special for $300 off regular price. It was a great deal. very powerful. nice, small tower. not very noisy.

If you get this on sale ($499) it is a great deal. At full price ($799) not so much. Overall it is a good machine with a few warts. The keyboard and mouse are wired and the cord is too short, they were replaced after one day with wireless units from Logitech. There is only one USB port on the front of the machine, would be nice to have at least 2. I miss my Windows 7, still struggling with learning Windows 10.

I read a lot of complaints about the fan. So far, ours is only noisy for about 5 seconds when you wake up computer. Not bad at all. Hopefully doesn't get worse, but I figure for the price I paid for this, if it gets worse I can install a new fan and still come out ahead in price. Everything else seems fine, one small complaint is I wish they had put more usb ports on front. Only one type C and one type A. This is kinda lame.

This was a replacement for a 9 year old Dell Desktop. Positive aspects include the small size (able to place on top of the desk as opposed to below it), a fast processor, large hard disk and sufficient ports to connect a variety of devices. The DVD drive is mounted vertically (in order to keep a narrow profile) as opposed to the older desktops where it is mounted horizontally. While I have not had it a long time I have been pleased with it and would recommend the unit

My old computer was dying before my eyes; grinding, straining, etc. I held off about 4 months longer than I should have. I am so pleased with this tower; it is 1/3 of the size of my former one; it is quick, was easy to set up; has good features. I recommend it completely.

Nice package - very small footprint on my desk. The start up time is quick, and the speed of operations is excellent. As another reviewer noted, it does make some noise, but, well worth it given the speed and price. I’m very pleased with the performance.

We bought this computer at Black Friday prices. It was a good deal for a rather powerful 12GB RAM computer with an i7 processor. Windows 10 was not the nightmare that the internet would lead you to believe. It was easy to set up and configure.

I got this computer during Black Friday and very satisfied with my purchase. I hooked up 2- 27" Dell Monitors and the slim design of the desktop fits perfectly on the top of my desk. Its amazing how much smaller desktop computers are these days!! This computer will last me for years and has sufficient speed and memory to serve for surfing the web and working from home through e-mails and Join-Me meetings. I am extremely happy and feel I got a GREAT deal for an Intel I7 processor under $500. Thank you Best Buy!

I like these slimline desktops, because they pack a whole lot of power in a small package (i.e. an i7 CPU w/12 GB for under $500). However, if you're looking to upgrade the system with loads of RAM and awesome video cards, then you won't want this one. This is for the person who wants minimal upgrades (i.e. one more RAM DIMM and an M.2 SSD).

I am extremely impressed with how quickly this machine runs while utilizing multiple applications. For the past 6 months I have been waiting for Black Friday to purchase a new computer and felt as if I got a phenomenal deal.

this HP slim i7 desktop computer, system so easy to setup & performance is pretty for this price, for general office operation is good enough, Light weight also easy to carry. totally all system is valuable to buy, I really enjoy to this small tiny computer, I will recommend to my friend

This desktop is just that. It sits on my desk and makes for easy access. Slimline makes it fit perfectly. It was a wise decision to purchase this magnificent computer.

Got this HP PC on Thanksgiving day at the low price of &500!! State of the art processor with 12mb of ram and 1Tb of hard drive space along with the slim design makes is great in my home office. Wish there was more than 1 USB port on the front of the unit but I can't have everything I guess! Also got an HP 23" monitor to go with it along with a wireless keyboard and mouse to round out the unit.

I picked up two of these under "black friday" deals for $499.00 each. Plenty of memory and storage. The i7 processor is fast. Extremely happy with our purchase.

Great computer for the price. Other reviewers mentioned issues with the fan. I've had no issues with that at all. Computer is fast and quiet.
