So, I disabled that and installed this instead. Has a small USB insert that just stays in. Good feel to the mouse and excellent tracking, but it a little smaller than other similar models so make sure you are comfortable with the size before purchasing. Could actually be an advantage in you are working in cramped places (e.g., an airplane).
