I purchase it because I already had one before and it works perfectly for what I needed it for! I use to for my laptop due to if I use the touch pad I sometimes slide to the next page. I use my other mouse a a disposable use for my tower that's hooked up to my TV so I can control internet and TV options with the convince of wireless.

I’ve had the mouse for a couple years now and only have changed the battery once I believe and I’ve kept it on sometimes over night. I tried it on a plant leaf and the dang thing worked for my computer. Bed covers, pants, glossy surfaces, rough surfaces, you name it! Great mouse

BestBuy had these on sale when I brought them, Reasonable cost, comfortable and fits right in your hand. I use it rough, throw it with my school supplies in my backpack. Though I cannot get any work done without it. Small, fast and right what I needed for the right price. A good purchase if the price fits your budget.

I like having the wireless mouse with my laptop. I've gotten one with each of my last few laptops. This one seems to as good as any. The on/off switch on the bottom is a little more difficult to use than others I've had. But it seems to have good range away from laptop. I've had it a month and have had no troubles.

I wanted a small sized mouse for myself and per the product description and reviews the HP Optical Mouse was the one I selected. My hand is on the small size so this mouse fits perfectly for me. It operates smoothly and there is no lag between mouse and computer. I really love the feel of it!

When I saw this wireless mouse in the daily deal, I thought the price was too tempting to resist. It is a wonderful buy. Quick delivery, easy to install. The only drawback, which is not a deal breaker, is there is a very slight lag in the response time, when compared to a wired mouse. I would recommend to a friend.

This HP mouse is a great basic mouse for anyone who wants an easy to use mouse without being attached by a wire. The nano receiver is small enough that you can plug it into a USB port and leave it there. If you are looking for a great, dependable, basic mouse, you can't go wrong with this one.

This mouse definitely is a great tool for a laptop that you carry around and use in different locations. You don't have to plug in a mouse cable every time you set things up. You just turn on the mouse and you're ready to go!

overall this is a very good buy for home usage. the very-small usb adapter is convenient for me but most likely it be easy to break/lose for others... sizewise, this mouse is 20% bigger than my other logitech wireless mouse at the office

Before I bought the HP - x3000 Wireless Optical Mouse, I preferred using a wired mouse, because all the wireless mouses I had bought prior to this one either didn't work properly, or had to have the battery changed every few weeks. I bought the HP - x3000 Wireless Optical Mouse several months ago, and it has worked perfectly; furthermore, I haven't yet had to change the battery despite the fact that I often forget to turn off the mouse before I go to bed. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I bought 2 on the deal of the day. One for myself and one for my boss who was tired of all the wires at his desk and under his feet. Easy install with the USB plug in and really fast reaction time. Came with a new Energizer battery, too, not a cheap brand. So glad I bought these.

I purchased this mouse to replace a defective one and was pleasantly surprised by it. The mouse is wireless and very easy to install. The wireless mouse allows less clutter on my desk and more manual dexterity . I definitely recommend this product and will replace old ones shortly.

I use this wireless mouse for my security camera system at work, and the system is on the other side of the wall from my work station (and monitor). I was not sure if the dongle would pick up a signal from the mouse seeing that the signal must transmit through a wall, but it works great!

The HP X3000 2.4 GHz Wireless 3 button Mouse comes with the battery and has a micro receiver.There is an on/off switch to turn the mouse off to conserve battery power. The micro receiver stores in a slot in the battery compartment I originally bought one but bought two more!
