HTC is a high end phone and you can feel the top quality material used as it does not feel cheap and plastic in your hands. The 10 has nice great features, but I feel they are enhanced versions of the HTC M8, which I just upgraded from and only did so because I broke the side volume button and with insurance and the deductible it would cost more to repair than to purchase the phone as an upgrade during a one day very short sale Verizon and BestBuy had (maybe it was one day) for $49, when I grabbed the 10. The only negatives so far was a glitch when I activated at home, the Wi-Fi shut off with me unaware and my data turned on and updated apps and used all my data for the month in literally one hour. I had to go through a lot of waiting on the phone with Verizon over the course of two days to get approval to call in the future to request a credit for this because they say they can't issue an on-the-spot credit because bills printed already or something...i will probably go through torture again, lol. Then, there is no photo gallery as in the M8 and that has proven to be stupid as you now have pictures in Google and that just sucks. It was more convenient to have a gallery right there on your phone- they should put it back! The speakers are not adequate. The front facing speakers of the M8 are gone and there is a little speaker on the bottom. Small sound, but the headphone sound is amazing- boom sound. I don't like where the power button is because it gets in the way of fingers when you hold the phone, should be back on top where it used to be, out of the way. Overall, I like it, but I liked the M8 way better and would have continued to use it had I not broken the volume button. It is still usable, so I am holding onto it just in case I decide the 10 is not for me. It's a good quality phone, but not the best HTC can make. I still wouldn't buy a different brand though because HTC is far better than the rest.

I did like the phone though unfortunately on the 14th day I owned it the microphone stopped working. Returned it and reactivated my HTC M8.
The 10 did have a great touch response. I missed the front facing speakers and it didn't feel as sturdy as the M8. The functions were essentially the same as the M8. Battery life didn't seem to be any better. Seems like its still a good phone.
I was disappointed that mine stopped working as there were none to replace it. Will hold off repurchasing until they've had more time to iron out the kinks.

It's fast. It's efficient. It doesn't crash. And best of all it comes with almost no bloat ware to slow your device.
The battery life is quite good but the performance and layout is what makes it a hit!

I got this phone as an upgrade from my HTC One M8 and after using it for over a month now, I'm very happy with it. Both cameras take excellent photos, the fingerprint sensor is very fast, and battery life has been great. The phone just feels like something you want to hold in your hand. I still can't get over how fast the quick charge actually charges the phone - it has to be experienced. Having expandable memory made it easy for me to choose the HTC 10 over the Pixel.

Great phone overall ( awesome design maybe a little thick and heavy, great screen quality and response, great sound quality, ultra fast charge, very good camera and buttery smooth UI) for me the best android from 2016 so far, BUT buy it factory unlocked for worldwide usage. The verizon one has locked bootloader, can't upgrade the system by OTA without a cdma sim and has too much bloatware..

HTC has hit it out of the park yet again. This phone completely crushes its predecessor in every imaginable way. Aesthetics, usability, feel, etc etc. This phone also crushes every other phone currently out. By far the best phone of 2016

This is a really good phone! Simple to use and customize to my liking. I had the m8 before and I liked that phone also. Camera is good, size is good, fits in my pocket easily, and the screen is fine for me. I looked at the iPhone and s7 but stuck with the 10 because of my previous experience with the m8. Underrated but excellent phone for those who do not follow the iPhone or galaxy crowd.

Great Phone, lost amist the sea of Samsung Devices

I have to disagree with the user who gave this product a one based on his issue with the ONE device he had an issue with and had to return. That could have been any phone, any carrier, and is just bad luck on his part. This phone is phenomenal! I love that it is almost straight vanilla android with slight HTC Skin. It runs buttery smooth, Camera is great, video is awesome and doesn't seem shakey when taking videos (even with little kids and adults moving about ) The fingerprint reader works great and has no issues. I didn't have the m7 - m9, but this phone is leaps and bounds than any other Android phone that doesn't have dual speakers. When headphones are plugged in, the sound is even better. I have a pair of Monster headphones that sound 10x better than my last Moto Droid Turbo 2 and LG G3. Overall, this has been a great upgrade and I LOVE this phone. I wish the screen size was smaller, but I knew that would be a disappointment going into this phone. Not the phone's fault that it was not made this way, just a tiny complaint.
However, coming from the Moto Droid, I do miss the battery life. I am able to go ALL DAY with moderate use (meaning texting, calls, checking emails, browsing the web and checking out a couple of videos.) With heavy use (lots of gaming, downloading videos, watching movies, and streaming podcasts) I will generally have to recharge within 8hrs. It does great at not dying quickly at night when I do not have it charged.

Nice but hard to repair

While this phone has great features, very fast, good interface, its a brick if you damage it. Unless purchase this phone directly thru HTC which gives you Uh Oh protection, but that is only for a year. If your phone breaks you will find it hard to get repaired without sending it in and being without it for a week or two.

GREAT PHONE--NONEXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

My wife and I have owned HTC phones for over a decade, and the HTC 10 was my most recent upgrade. Loved the phones because of the camera specs. However, I will never purchase another HTC product. HTC warrants that they will replace a broken screen once during the first year of ownership, but just try and get them to honor that warranty. My wife has tried since November to get them to fix her M9 but HTC customer service continually gives her the run around and has her continually resubmit information that she has submitted numerous times already. The final straw was today when they denied her claim again saying that she activated the phone in September 2015 and was thus outside the one year warranty period despite her providing a Best Buy order form reflecting a November2016 purchase. Before you buy any HTC product, I would encourage you to search the internet for customer complaints about HTC phone warranty claims. You will be shocked by what you find.

I cant give HTC phones a low enough score. 4 replacements in less than 15 months. and don't count on geek squad to help you out. remember they only send refurbished phones and they aren't any better. will never take the advise of a store agent again
