This brand has been my go to for years and I’m glad I finally upgraded. 7.1 surround sound is crazy. HyperX never disappoints in comfort either. Headset comes with leather and cotton muffs if you have a preference. Mic quality is pretty standard.

I purchased these for my adult son who is an avid gamer, has autism and a very large head. I have bought him several headphone sets over the past 14 years, including Beats, Bose, Turtle Beach and Sony, and these are the only set that do not hurt his head or ears after hours of play. One and a half years into these headphones, and he says they still work great and are extremely comfortable on his very sensitive head and ears. I highly recommend these headphones, especially for anyone with a very large head and head/ear sensitivities. I know they won't last forever, so I'm buying another two sets to make sure he will have comfortable headphones for the foreseeable future.

This headset is great for gaming and music but lacks a good microphone. I can barely be heard when gaming or on video calls. I have to havr the mic touching my lips. And yes I've twisted the mic arm so the correct side is facing me. Windows settings are at max input level and I cannot install a third party software for work. The 3.5mm cable length is too short to use without the USB controller. This places the controller at an odd distance where it is hard to cable manage.

This was my husband's second pair of this headset and he just loves them. Prefect for playing video games or listening to music. And they last such a long time!

Again, the headset was great and I need then to teach webinar's. The process to purchase online and 1 hour pickup in store, that was a disaster. I was given the impression they were at my local Best Buy and would be ready for pickup in 1 hour. I went through the process and purchase. My confirmation came back and said they would be ready for store pickup in one week, really. So I jump back on and found if I had it delivered, it could be here in two days, great in time for the class and gave me the weekend to use them. Then I got an update and it would not be 2 days it will now be 5 days and one day before the class started, really. Thankfully they did arrive one day before class. But take about false information and misleading, so watch out if you need things quick.

these are super comfortable and have great audio quality. Highly recommend for even beginner gamers. I have the Cloud Alpha in red for about a year now, purchased these for my daughter and she loves them.

Have owned HyperX in the past and have not been let down. The comfort is beyond anything I've ever owned. The sound is immersive. Can sit for hours with no discomfort. I highly recommend all hyperx products.

This is the first item from HyperX I've purchased, and I muse say that I am very happy with them! The 7.1 is an excellent addition, and the simple plug in and use with no added fine tuning makes the ease of use a simple 5/5. Would recommend this headset to anyone looking for a more in depth and immersive gaming experience.

They get the job done. 7.1 is okay and they are comfortable enough to wear for a couple hours. Decent volume. Get when on sale though.

It sounds great and great entry level headset. For PS4 you do need to download an update for it to work but it's quick and easy. It's really comfortable even after hours of use. The build is sturdy and solid

They have been great so far I don’t think anything would ruin them in terms of sound quality anytime soon. Great buy but for 140 a lil overpriced but on discount for 99 absolutely a great but

I gave this as a gift to a hard of hearing person who uses them to help him hear people speaking over the computer and for games. He likes them. He especially likes the leather like muffs with the vent holes that keep the heat from the ears. He has a big head and likes the size of the headset. He would have liked to have the ability to equalize the frequencies to his hearing deficits on the headset. For example the bass frequencies blotted out the mid frequencies which are his worst hearing frequencies. He circumvented this by changing the settings on his computer. So this headset worked out fine.

Would recommend these to anyone looking for gaming or telehealth headphones. They were comfortable and the sound was clear. The only thing I did not like was the cord.

This pair has a lot of popping noises not sure if all of them are like this or i just got a bad pair but its really annoying while playing a game ..a lot of minor problems you think would be fixed with that price they charge them at...plus the fact the new ones came out like two weeks after i purchased these makes it even worse....they are comfortable on my head but that popping noise just makes them annoying

This is an easy to use and very durable headset and mike. It works well for my purposes (ZOOM and similar calls. It is comfortable to wear, and has good controls for volume and bass adjust.
