Exactly what I expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I received the machine, the install was easy and exactly what I expected. I took advantage of what I found from the reviews (e.g. Note the windows 10 key on the back) and from unpacking to using was about 15 minutes. The performance and graphics are amazing, the box is quiet. The only issue (also noted in the reviews) is that the LED remote only works if I point it through the vent. Not a big deal. Do be aware, there is no DVD in the system so acquiring an external DVD is essential if you need to use the restore disks. Again, I was prepared for that, so no surprise.

Hard drive disappears.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a year or two, the hard drive D disappears when Geek Squad hard resets the pc. I bought this pc back in 2017. Also, my Seagate external hard drive doesn’t work for the desktop anymore after when they reset it..

Couldn't even get started
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this computer from Best Buy Jacksonville NC. The staff and store were outstanding and I cannot even begin to say how awesome they treated me. I got this computer home and followed instructions to the letter and no matter what display ( I tried many) out of any port, there simply was no picture. Whether I connected to the Nvidia GTX 1060 graphics card or the ports from the motherboard not image ever came up. I couldn't even get to the setup phase on the computer because I couldn't see what I was doing! I am hoping that I am one of few who experience this problem because I feel this computer has the potential to be something great.

A Great Gaming Computer At A Great Price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the first gaming computer I’ve purchased, I usually build my own PC’s. This iBuyPower machine, though, is a great bargain. I couldn’t find another machine (anywhere) that offered so much power and performance for the price. When you compare its specs to other gaming-type machines BB sells (Alienware, ROG, etc.) it literally blows them away! While it could be considered an entry-level gaming machine, it has absolutely every major feature you need to play challenging, high-end games and get the most out of them. It’s very impressive how iBuyPower managed to include so many high-value, quality components and still maintain the price point. It seems to be a very well-thought out design. With an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 Graphics card, 16 GB of DDR4 SDRAM, 7.1 Channel Surround Sound, a SATA/SSD hard drive combination, and, most importantly, the Intel 7th Generation (quad-core) 7700 CPU, you have all the elements you need for an awesome gaming experience! The included gaming-style keyboard and mouse was also a nice touch, and it was nice to boot this computer up for the first time and find no bloatware wasting space on the hard drive. It’s truly a joy to use, as it’s VERY fast! I didn’t think Windows 10 could run that fast, or perform that well! Finally, there’s the case. What can I say? You could almost buy this computer just for its looks! The multi-colored, RGB LED lighting set-up (complete with the included remote control!) is very cool, and I never get tired of looking at it, or playing around with the infinite lighting combinations. I really didn’t set out to sound like a cheerleader in describing this computer, and I swear I don’t work for iBuyPower (or BB, for that matter). Just saying, this is a great (gaming) machine, at a great price, it would be very, very difficult to do better. I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed!

Fast and Quiet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm very impressed with how easy it was to get my new IBuyPower BB930 out of the box and up and running. I absolutely love the SSD system drive. Never had one before. Everything runs in complete silence and is so fast. I'm not a gamer, but I am a video producer and I need all the same processing power and graphics card muscle. I could not be more pleased. Highly recommended.

Good so far
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Runs everything i can throw at it really nicely .. Guild Wars 2 on high settings gets me around 80 FPS easy even in crowded areas. The only problem i have with the system is that there is no DVD Drive. Also.. when i opened it sealed in the box, there was a screw loose. After looking around inside the machine, it turns out that it came from the left bottom anchor hole in the Motherboard, I tried to put it back in, but the screw was the wrong size, which is why i am guessing it fell out in the first place. The mobo is already grounded by about 5 others and is in the case very solid, so i just tossed the screw back in the cardboard box. There is no vibration or anything.. and im guessing that since i saw someone else had the same issue a few weeks ago (mobo screw also found in the case that didn't fit) in one of the reviews, it simply means that they loaded the wrong size screws for the machine or person that installs them. It shouldn't pose any problems.. but if it does, i will post here later. There is one thing you will NEED TO KNOW... When you turn the machine on, the lights in the case go into automatic strobe. This REALLY freaked me out, because i thought something was bad wrong... besides the fact that it was making me feel like i was going to have a seizure. The ONLY way to turn them off (or change colors depending on your preference) is to remove the side glass panel ( on the left looking at the tower from the front) and point the remote that comes with the machine directly inside and up twoards the top. This means, that once you have them set how you want, you cant change colors etc without taking the side panel off each time. I cut my lights off as it was SO much of a distraction because i have the tower placed on the edge of my peripheral vision. Why they include all these lights and things inside a PC now days is beyond me... no one cares if it looks like your pc is in a disco... just make them easier to cut off or leave them out all together!! For now though, yes i would recommend this to anyone. Its a great system for the price (although for about 300 bucks cheaper i could have gotten a cyberpower amd razor system with only 8g less ram) Most of the extra 300 of it is paying just for the 16g of ram and intel 7th gen cpu) but it does seem faster than my previous amd fx system (1 year old) that i had to replace due to a dead port. Will update review if anything goes wrong... seems really good so far though.

Great for gamers and freelancers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this system so I can upgrade the base to fit my needs, and it does a good job right out of the box. The 7700, SSD, 16 GB Ram, and 1060 graphics card let you play games without an issue, and also run adobe premiere very smoothly. I haven't tried After Effects yet, but it definitely handles the rest of the cloud programs without an issue.

Great for the Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TL;DR: Great for the price, easy to customize, cool colors, curse nVidia for making 1060 not SLI compatible, needs a second fan on top. First I have to say this is the best store bought pc I have gotten, sub $1,000.00. I usually like to build my own pc's, and I was feeling lazy so I caught this one on sale and bought it back in April of 2017 and I have played on it daily since. Pros: Full sized case, easy to customize, easy to replace parts (when or if needed or wanted), the i7 7700 is an amazing processor, the MSI GTX 1060 graphics card works amazing compared to it's predecessor, and since I'm a kid at heart, the color changing case is fun as all get out. Cons: The only con about the pc itself is it needs a second fan on the top of the case, there is a spot for one but it doesn't come with one. The only other con that people need to know if they don't know about computers is the GTX 1060 is NOT SLI supported, meaning you can only run one. Unless you use LDA or MDA to run 2 at once, which is only direct x 12 compatible and isn't true SLI. So if you want to run 2 graphics cards you probably shouldn't bother.

Nice!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to build my own gaming PC's back in the day. Overclocked em, and did all kinds of geeky stuff. Now, I have less time but more money so I just buy them prebuilt. But if I buy one I will be picky. The IbuyPower BB930 is great. Awesome price and a nice case with glass sides. Asus motherboard and Nvidia 1060 so they don't skimp on internals. As a geeky touch the interior LEDs you can control with a remote, changing the color and setting them to flash, strobe or fade. Its eerily quiet too, unlike my overpriced LOUD Alienware that died after a few years. The case is large and if you ever want to work on it or upgrade the factory parts it has a lot of working space. Overall a well built, good value, good performing nicely priced offering from iBUYPOWER.

Software Glitches
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My daughter bought this for heavy graphic work with Adobe. Before she could even get to that point she was locked out with a message stating the Windows version was out of date. She had to take it back to Best Buy to have it reloaded. Once she got it back she turned it back on only to get another software error message only this time it was with the Security Software.

iBuyPower BB930 is a Beast!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a bit apprehensive about buying a new desktop from a company I hadn't heard of, but a couple friends gave raving reviews. After finding out that it had an ASUS mother board, Intel i7 processor, and NVIDIA GTX 1060 graphics card, my apprehension vanished. Not only does this desktop perform great, it's the best looking box I've ever seen. It is big, so make sure you have plenty of room, but it's worth the space. Set up was very simple and quick, I had absolutely no issues. From powering on to use is less than a minute - faster than anything I've worked on in my 25 years of computer experience. I've only used it for a short time, but it's already proven that it can power up, run apps, download, stream, and render videos faster than I could imagine. I'm extremely pleased and would highly recommend!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Ibuypower bb930 is the type of computer I've been hoping for. It's powerful enough to play games like Nba2k and other games that are much like it. The ease of use is quote pleasing the keyboard is light enough to and the keys are very sensitive to touch which is cool. It has plenty of memory a high speed modem and many other things .

Crashed in 3 hrs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After spending over an hour setting up IRacing, computer went to sleep and would never work again, says it can't find operating system, and doesn't come with a driver to install a recovery CD for Windows 10... Way overpriced to enjoy 5 min of use before having to take back !

Powerful computer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a powerful computer and I've been researching a lot for it. I chose this one because I believe it's a good price (especially that it comes with the mouse and a keyboard) for such powerful characteristics. I bough it only a couple days ago but I am already very satisfied with the purchase. The speed it gives you is unbelievable - everything happens almost before you even enter a command with the 3.6 ghz - and that was my number one priority. I also like the external look/design of it with the cheerful lights from the top. Great graphics as well. Lastly, I know it will serves me for a long time because you can customize it as you want it to be.

Very powerful computer for a great price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Couldn't be more pleased with my new IBuyPower computer. I finally bit the bullet and updated my old computer with this beast. Setup could not have been easier, take it out of the box, plug the keyboard and mouse in, turn it on and up pops Windows 10. The built in WiFi made transferring over my files from my old computer easy. I use my computer for online games and general computing and boy is everything so much faster than my old computer. For the price, I could not find another computer with this much power and features and I did quite a bit of comparison shopping first. And its so quiet. My only real question is why didn't I buy it sooner.

Amazing Computer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I have not had a problem with this computer. All games run incredibly fast and smooth. On all games I have played so far I have maintained a solid 60-70 fps. The tower is silent and you wouldn't have known it was there if the lighting wasn't so eye-catching. This computer is not only good for gaming, but surfing the web, skyping, and just about everything you can think of. Getting the computer set up is super simple and will take no time at all. All in all, this computer exceeded my expectations and, if you are looking to buy a gaming computer, I would definitely recommend this one.

Great computer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer was just what I was looking for, fast setup, excellent performance, and easy to swap out components if needed. Only downsides are a lack of a cd drive and that the keyboard it comes with has unexpected key placement and feels inexpensive.
