Just bought my first iBUYPOWER PC and it's everything I hoped it would be! Upgrading from a GT1030 to a RTX4060 is a huge difference for me. Out of the box setting up the Slate 8 Mesh was extremely easy to do. Plugged it in and immediately started using it. Downloaded a few games like Rust, Rocket League, and Fortnite. FPS is amazing! averaging anywhere between 180-300+ on high/max settings for most games. I've seen a few reviews of people complaining about how loud the fans are. For me, the fans at max speed are not loud at all. Especially if you're using speakers with your pc or a headset. The build quality is sturdy and sits firmly on my desk with no wobble. Cable management is fantastic. This pc is an absolute unit!

I love that it comes with a mouse & keyboard & it’s fast & runs my games plus other apps in the background without problem. The downsides are there is no disk reader so I had to buy one separately & for some reason bluetooth earbuds have a lot of trouble connecting & working properly so I would recommend using wired headphones but wireless mouse & controllers work fine. The fans are also pretty loud so that’s one thing to keep in mind if you want to record as your mic can pick up the sounds. Lastly, it has more usb c & jack ports on the top in case you run out on the back or your cables for your headset or something aren’t long enough to reach all the way.

I recently purchased a new desktop during Black Friday, and it's fantastic! Setup was a breeze, and it's incredibly fast. The sleek design and excellent quality are impressive. It meets all my work and entertainment needs effortlessly. I highly recommend it if you're considering a custom or pre-built PC. I use it mainly for business and some gaming on the weekends.

I used to have another pre-built computer year ago and considered building one, then I found this Slate 8 with the help of an employee at my local store. After putting some components into PCPartPicker, I realized that with all the extra stuff I would’ve needed to buy, this was an actual solid investment for gaming. This thing handles all the games I want, plenty of ram for heavily modified Minecraft with shaders (100+ mods with Bliss? 120fps+.) GTA 5, even Black Ops 6 gets right around 120fps at max settings. Absolute power house and I’m happy with it 100%. My only small complaint is storage, but it’s at fault of how big games are now. I’ll be investing in bigger storage spaces in time, like 2 2gb NVMe internal SSD’s.

For the price I got this computer it was worth it. I got it just above $1,000 USD when it was on sale. I got this great PC for $300 cheaper than it was listed. The graphics are amazing, no frame drops, and it runs unreal engine very good.

Good base for someone wanting to add a gpu, the 4060 is a baseline entry level card but the i7 14700 is a very good cpu for most anything from google slides to rendering videos maybe not worth for server rendering get a thread ripper for that, the ram is good ddr5 @5200 is very good people are still playing on ddr3/4 with no issues, storage is alright 1tb really isn’t enough if you plan on gaming but is enough if you only play a couple of games, the gpu, now they give you a nearly top end cpu but give you an entry level card, now the card can play in 1440p as I’ve tested it especially with how good dlss is now but if you don’t want to rely on frame generation or upscaling then you’d want something better maybe a 9070 xt or a 4070+ card I personally wanted to try intel and got an intel arc b580 and in my testing I’ve found that in 1440p the intel card outperforms it in 90% of titles of course nvidia favored titles or older titles struggle a bit as Intel doesn’t work much on pre dx11 game optimization but if your looking for a solid 60 fps in 1440p then that card would be the best upgrade to balance out the cooling as the 4060 does get a bit warm. Sorry for the book overall it’s a great purchase if you want a pre built and pcs are so easily upgradable that’s if you have the disposable income to get an eventual upgrade then do it. Games tested including but not limited to: cyberpunk 2077, Oblivion remastered, battlefield 6, Fortnite, kingdom come deliverance, counter strike 2, half life alyx, bonelab, blades and sorcery, Skyrim vr and over 50 more. This has been a great PC I have played many games like battlefield 6 and dying light the beast with no performance issues. I have also ran unity,blender and krita together to build games and there has been no issues this PC does the job I need it to do while running 3 monitors.

4 months later and I’m very happy with my purchase. Looks great and if feels so good to be able to run everything at max setting with no fps drop. Was an easy plug and play setup. The hardest thing was waiting for windows to update so I could play my games.

I was a little nervous getting a prebuilt PC, especially as a first time PC owner. Honestly, can't recommended this PC enough if you have the money and don't have the time to wait for parts and build one yourself. The only issue I had was with the Windows 11 OS, there was an issue with the license. But, iBUYPOWER has an amazing customer service team, wow I was really impressed with their help and patience. They were able to assist and resolve the issue in minutes. I have had the PC for a little over a month and half. I am highly impressed and happy with my purchase. I have been running various games on moderate to high settings and have had no crashes/high CPU temps. Currently playing Cyberpunk 2077 and the PC has been handling it like a champ. The MSI center allows you to change a lot of settings with RGB as well as tracking the CPU temps. I know you probably can get these parts cheaper but for the specs on this unit, I think its worth it. I also know everyone has had different experiences with prebuilt PC's but so far I am hooked. Thanks BestBuy & iBUYPOWER.
