I haven't had a problem with this tool, opening up laptops and stuff of the sort. It is metal, and I did dent up some plastic with this. I also did cut myself on this, so do be careful.

That was worth the price of admission

I've had some issues with it nicking some materials when using it to gently pry open a device. Otherwise, works great, it's almost sharp, so avoid moving it towards yourself, especially if you have moist hands for some reason.

My roommates have seen me using it and they have also both borrowed it for their own tinkering/upgrades/repairs. Just be sure you get it back from whomever you loan your tools to. Had to ask for it back both times the roommates borrowed it.

A little flimsy but still gets the job done

I took away one star for the build quality. The blade on the opener kept bending from side to side, thus requiring me to add additional pressure. I took away another star because the opener felt like it was going to break.

I used it to change the RAM sticks in my laptop. I had to take the laptop apart with the jimmy tool and it worked great. No issues. It didn't break or get bent. It was strong and did what it was supposed to do.
